Tried to comment on a couple of things during my lunch break today, but my data network on my phone was being uncooperative and I lost a couple of posts and ran out of time.  Not that there was anything earth-shattering or profund, to be frank.  I'm generally lost D1 in large games, and there are far too many of you in this one that I either can't read well (or at all), or haven't said anything that stuck with me very long.

 

If I were to make a reads list, it would be nearly all null, with a few mild town leans due to gut feelings, and generally completely useless.

 

Not sure on Dice yet, which has me slightly worried - I'm usually pretty sure of him when he's town rather quickly, but I don't know when was the last time I played with him in this size of a game as town so I'm not sure if it's due to the size of the game or the alignment in his role PM.  We were both in the Avengers: Age of Ultron game, which was 24 players, but he was mafia there, so he was characteristically hanging back.  Most of the time when I'm sure about him it's in a smaller game where he's able to be more front and center, but I feel like he's less opinionated this game than I expect from Town!Dice.

 

Other than that, though, my own opinions are hazy, so I can't get on his case too bad.

 

Getting warm fuzzies from Hallia, Seph feels pretty natural to me, I feel like I can follow Tina pretty well, Eldrick isn't striking me as particularly scummy (which is a change, so probably a good thing)... I'm cautiously optimistic about AJ, Verb and Leelou both look townish.

 

Sili and EP both baffle me as always - EP looks to be pulling one of his classic dubiously beneficial schemes, which I guess means he's probably town.

 

I won't be able to wrap my head around much here without a couple of flips to narrow the focus and provide some hard info.  If there's something in particular you'd like to draw my attention to and get my opinion on, I'd actually appreciate the help.  I skimmed most of the day today from work on my phone between actual work, and I'll probably have to go back and re-read chunks of the game to figure out what was important.

 

Cautiously with you on Dice, Tina, Eldrick and maybe even Verb and Leelou so far here Tress (though due to game size I'm happy to give Dice a little longer to warm up before getting too worried).

 

Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'his classic dubiously beneficial schemes'  in the bold on EP? Eg. Can you give me a run-down on EP's usual Town/Scum play as you know it?

 

 

It's been way too long for a solid meta read, but I have a vague memory of him as mafia in a game where we were mafia together - Kae's Final Fantasy - and as I recall he was lynched pretty early and most of what I remember was him coming up with fake claims for us since the mod didn't provide them.

 

Most of the town games I remember, he pulled something early on that caused a general facepalm and post-flip commentary along the lines of "what the hell were you thinking".  The strong role hinting here fits with that sort of behavior, complete with the "I know what I'm doing" response.

that was a really bad example of a mafia side. If you want a good read on my mafia side when I was on my A game look at the Labrynth game Nolder ran or the game where I was a double agent on both Mafia teams (I want to say either Kae or Red ran this one. There was a big post game debate on the "fairness" of my role in that game I pretty much used one of the mafia teams as a decoy all game and had the side I chose to win controll everything). I picked the weakest fake claim for that Final Fantasy game leaving the stronger ones for the remaining members

It's 1AM and I've taken my melatonin and am ready to turn off the brain.   Sili always baffles me, as you may recall from previous games I am not good at reading him and generally dislike the process of trying to figure him out.  

 

As for Yates I'll try to look at him tomorrow since I never trust him and don't know what to do with him so far.  

 

AJ was a gut read, like Tina, off the cuff, based on my recall of skimming a lot of the game.  I really don't have the energy or desire to re-read and ISO people to form solid reads just now due to the size of the game and the wordiness of quite a few of the players.

ISO reads are the only way I survive in this game. Also the big quotes ... you kinda get used to them as you play here. It used to bother me more before.

 

I try to snip out information not pertaining to what I want to talk about, but sometimes I just don't want to do that in case some of the context is lost.

The reason I dislike trying to figure you out is that you say so damn many things that would never occur to me as a good idea to say, plus your post volume is high in general, that sorting through it all to make sense of your alignment makes my head hurt.
