Pral isn't a swing for the fences kind of guy. If you don't want people to know you are a mason you can safely claim VT because it looks exactly the same to an investigator if it ever happens. If you look? I made the same claim while also giving myself room to verify that I was his mason with my "ditto" comment in my first post.

 

I *am* a swing for the fences kind of guy. I don't mind people knowing we are masons right off the bat for all of the +EV reasons already posted in thread. Still, I'm not going to screw my buddy by blurting in the first post of the game without receiving his consent. Especially after he has already fake claimed VT.

Ok. Finally caught up on notes/summarising. Current (to page 28) impressions list as promised. If something sticks out as sketchy/you want further explanation let me know. Order is least to most suspicion. 

 

 

 

Dice -  Still willing to go out on a limb here (for now) and say mostly Town to me. Accusatory tone and aggressive action (meta-suggestive of Town). Some inconsistencies (realistically null). Potential to be scum buddying with white-knighting me (but equally null since he knows me best and everything he said in regards to me was true).

 

Lily - Tone and posts are clean. Agree with almost everything she says so far. 

 

Leelou  - Raises valid (mostly alignment-neutral points). Tone null. 

 

Verbal - Logical points (null). Tone a mix of jokey and serious. Still no idea how to read this guy.

Can everyone please keep him around for at least a few days unless something drastic changes???

 

 

Wombat - Tone mixed (?null). Makes valid points, pushes play forward. Logic in more serious/explanatory posts is easy to follow/tone in those posts seems good (null).

 

Sooh (mentored by Nyn) - At this point, four posts since beginning of game. Tone so far relaxed/confident (?null).

 

Alanna - Statements made are mostly null/equally applied to Scum or Town. Direct logic sound (null). Confused by some explanations. No idea how to read her tone.

 

Dawn/Mrs. Clov - waiting on replacement.

 

Not Bob - No discernible game motives/opinions. Tone neutral but...?smug? (Scummy, especially with questions). Can't tell if this is clever Town enjoyment, or deliberately closed-down scum (realistically null).

 

Thane - Mostly friendly and jokey like usual (null). Some more serious comments (without play/emotion where I would probably have expected some based on meta ?potentially scummy). Occasional word slips/contradictory comments (potential for scum). Possible over-corrective bias following the Arthurian game, where I finally started thinking I could pick when he was Town (and he was Scum).

 

Yates - Tone and attitude (as usual) mostly scum. No idea on the actual alignment of his strategic play. 

 

Pral - Didn't like initial tone (potentially null/scum). Playing along with Yates claim (so far null).

 

Hallia - More active and investigative than I've ever seen her (?null). Tone sounds aloof/pushy (?null/scum?). 

 

Eldrick - Don't follow or trust his logic or justifications for his actions/suggestions (scummy, based on gut). Not sure if this is realistically alignment indicative yet, or just the way he really thinks. Find him more confusing in general than I initially found Sili (as a player). Potential associative bias to read him scum (read him the same way whilst following the Arthurian game).

 

Sili - Convoluted thinking and occasional contradictions (still confusing but about the same as every game). Voting and vote rationale is weird/inconsistent. Some content/hinting is weird (?scum motivated). Tone seems to have changed since previous games (?scum).

As far as I know/can tell/have been told (admittedly by him), he's more aggressive and willing to act quickly on his gut when he's Town. I haven't seen him/don't think he would be as assertive about his gut takes (like those on you and Eldrick) and/or act on them so early as scum.
