The bigger issue being that I haven't said I have a town reason on Lily or even that condemn the train.  I have only said that I didn't think it was a good direction for me to go in.  The rest is you putting words in my mouth Sili

Let me go over your logical steps. First you nudge lilly and spot what was scummy about her entrance, then flip your treatment of lilly because she was run up too fast, and then act like you won't consider lynching her.

Btw, I'm not pushing Sili as scum here, I'm trying to work with him because he is putting in a lot of effort and I just can't get a read seemingly due to little discrepancies.  That's annoying.

You're so hypocritical.

Oh I'm sorry, does that make it similarly hypocritical of you to make constant nudges against my character and then clarify that it isn't alignment related when Clov puts you on the spot for it?

No.

Man you over-reacted terribly to that.  Sili I'm still doing basic reaction tests and prodding out things.  You seem so certain of what is going on D1 and I don't get that for the life of me.  Clov has made some good points which you haven't done a good job of refuting and now you look like you're shifting your stances to whatever argument is currently being made.  If you're town take a bit to relax.

As for my thoughts on Lily, I don't think she warrants lynching.  No clue what her alignment is but that means that 3/4 of the time she flips town from my perspective and even if she did flip mafia I don't know who it would help clear or who it would incriminate because, again, there just isn't enough meaningful data there.

Mrs. Clov, I suspect taht you might know clov better than most of us.  Do his pushes on Sili look genuine to you?

I think that Clov's really trying to figure out Sili's logic. Clov's really big on being able to follow other people's logic.

I won't lie, I'm biased and don't like it when someone calls me scum, but this makes a lot of sense.

I will explain when/where/why i have changed my mind on darthe since it will probably be something Clov wants to know.

At start of game, my understanding is Darthe doesn't like to play town, because he totally pulled a disappearing act in kivarm's game and when he posted he didn't seem to care one way or the other, so when i spotted what he was pulling with nyn i was pretty annoyed but i didn't think it was necessarily a bad sign. In fact, since he started the game doing much the same thing by 'prodding' players I thought it might be consistent.

And Darthe gives me an explanation that makes sense to me so I let him off the hook.  When people apply pressure on him I make sure to tell them why I let him off the hook, but I let it go since it isn't going anywhere and Darthe isn't improving.

At around this time I start to think Verb might be scum the way he links players, me to Darthe, and clov to me when he notes clov letting me off to easily. It's a little too much, plus I didn't understand where Verbal's confidence was coming from.

Darthe starts to participate more actively in the game, and I get good feels from his posts because they have good tone, and they seem meaningful. Then Darthe starts to prod me with questions, I answer, but I don't remember him following-up, so I assume the answers were good, but his read of me isn't effected I think.

Darthe backtracks on Lilly and I don't get it, but I realize if not lilly darthe has no hard scum leans this late in the day. So I ask him, to which he doesn't respond. When Clov pushes me as certified scum, Darthe parrots Clov.

My conclusion is it was scummy, I go over what I know about Darthe, consider he might be scum, and see what conclusions I reach. Most importantly, I realize Darthe isn't doing much in the game. He's kind of sitting around, throwing around nudges to see what sticks. And then I reread his progression (thought process behind his read) of lily and it strikes me as entirely half-hearted. He pushes lilly harder than anyone else but takes it back when 4 votes are placed on her.

MOD NOTE: just FYI, I may need to extend the deadline - a couple of people have dropped out, and I am still looking for a replacement for one.

I have just been informed that I am replacing someone. I don't know who. I have been following the thread in case this happened, so I'm going to add my input. It's nothing original, just reiterrating some points that bugged me.

There has been a lot of flak about Darthe. I had a problem with him suspecting Nyn, and using info about Lily to back up his suspicion. Even if he was just skimming, like he claimed, that didn't sit right with me.

The other thing that bothered me was Clov mentioning he didn't feel someone was scum (I don't remember who offhand. I'll check when I get home) but didn't remove his vote until pressured about it.

That's my two cents about what's going on. I'm not big on Day 1 readings, so I don't have feelings about anyone else.

I think I can communicate this better.

It is mostly minor fixes, but it might be easier to read.

In fact, because he started the game doing much the same thing by 'prodding' players I thought it might be consistent.

So Darthe gives me an explanation that makes sense to me so I let him off the hook.  When people apply pressure I make sure to tell them why I let him off the hook, but I give up since people have a different understanding of Darthe. Darthe isn't improving too, so I didn't want to overreach

When Darthe starts to participate more actively in the game, I get good feels from his posts because they have good tone, and they seem meaningful. Then Darthe starts questioning me, I answer, but I don't remember him following-up, so I assume the answers were good, however his read of me isn't effected I think.

Darthe backtracks on Lilly and I don't get it, but I realize if not lilly darthe has no hard scum leans this late in the day. So I ask him, to which he doesn't respond. When Clov pushes me as certified scum, Darthe parrots Clov.

My conclusion is it's scummy, so I go over what I know about Darthe and see what other conclusions I reach. I realize Darthe isn't doing much in the game: he's kind of sitting around, throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. And then I reread his progression (thought process behind read) of lily and it strikes me as entirely half-hearted. He pushes lilly harder than anyone else and takes it back when 4 votes are put on her.

Did you not defend my process, which has openly been this, earlier?  You aren't remotely adamant on your read of me and thus this is entirely reminiscent of the hypocrisy you castigated me for earlier.

Eldrick, welcome.  Why u vote me?

Nah. I didn't defend your process. All I did was defend your right to play badly as long as it went somewhere eventually.

Good.

YATES NOTE: Just FYI, I'll be more involved in this game during the day tomorrow. I didn't have a ton of time this weekend so I had to dedicate what little time I had elsewhere.

I take it that that was conditional on it going where you wanted, given the circumstances.

The destination is secondary imo.
