Not really, no. You claim to have a 2 part role and one part you don't understand, but you only claimed the second half after the first part. Why never ask the mod a question as to how your role works? That's what I do if I get a new role and when I'm a mod I always get tons of questions as to how a role works.

In regards to the rest of your post, I thought I knew how the role worked. I've never seen a gunsmith before and the easiest comparison I made was to a tracker.

You knew you could self-protect once.

But you DIDN'T know how SORCERER worked.

You didn't bother to check your role PM to see how Sorcerer worked.

I read the sorcerer as 'see if this person had a night kill' that night.

 

Healer is a pretty common role.

Again, I thought sorcerer was a tracker-type ability.

Again, I did check my pm, and the front page. Both times I came back thinking it worked liked a tracker.

I had no reason to ask the mod. I had no idea I didn't know how Sorcerer worked. It didn't occur to me to ask.

In my defense however, I was pretty out of it for about a week, so it wasn't exactly my best decision making.

My thinking is beloved can't be lynched at f3, so therefore is a mandatory kill for scum to make eventually.

The worst person for them to target from the towns perspective should be mrs.clov since she is the most reliably town.  Everyone else they could get at.  If you didn't protect her in this situation I'd prob gun for you tomorrow.

In retrospect I was wrong to think there would be a seer in the game, but I felt like Sorcerer (aka tracker) wasn't enough utility to compensate for lovers and a survivor.

 

Also, I didn't believe Clov right away, the slip was too facile, but I protected him because I thought scum might shoot him and sometimes he really he is a seer.
