Let's rustle some jimmies then. I'll read up later.

@EVERYBODY

I am torn here. Both of these players are now in my sights as scum (explanations coming).

I want to start voting scum.

I'm scared to start with either of these, and I was leaning towards pushing a vote for Yates instead.

@WOMBT and @AJ

Instant reaction to these posts was "Yey!! They're on the same page as me! - +1 !"  But, I have to be wary about the fact that this happened... are you two working in cahoots as scum, throwing out these conflicting votes that probably won't gain traction due to people being scared, or are you really that convinced at this point, and that brave? I'm about to post up my thoughts on both DPR and Kiv - would you guys be able to do the same?

^ I mean DPR and Kiv are in my sights as scum. Wombat (sorry bout the spelling above) and AJ are still less certain in my mind.

Two games ago, on tmf, i fake claimed a bodyguard role because tom targeted me with a claimed day shot. I was a gladiator, had no idea why his supposed shot didn't work, but if people thought i was a bodyguard then having been shot they would think i was vanilla, more or less.

It made sense.

Tinfoiling ensued though, and when i tried to simplify the situation by revealing my real role, people pointed fingers and accused me of being scum for lying. There was no deeper substance to the argument, so I gave up and used gladiator.

A couple days later Despot tunneled me for a cycle because of confirmation bias and inane logic. Whenever I made a point that was village-like people discounted it, which left me essentially powerless and forced to endure constant ridicule for bad play. I wasn't given a second chance, and the stress built up until I vented a couple times and floated through the rest of the day.

Point is I'm still learning how to deal with being a lead wagon, and having been bigoted to death, lynched by a ventriloquist, and tunneled by despot and dm, I've learned little except paranoia and knee jerk reactions.

Makes sense.

For what it's worth I am getting a townie vibe from you.

I get Kivam's point about an informative lynch, but I can't join a train of someone I'm town reading.

I think I've played enough with Arsis to read him well. His town and scum games are quite different. So my money's on him.

As town or scum?

Then, NB, disappearing to collate thoughts on Kiv and DPR (Damn for this game not having pause!!)

I would have liked to see Pral post, though. It kinda irks me that he hasn't yet. But it would have to be one hell of a reads list to change my mind.

Cass - you're here. I'm here. Let's have a real time conversation? If you are thinking about voting me, and you are claiming it's because of the Seer Cover, and you are claiming to have read everyone's explanations, then I'd like to know if there's something else that's bothering you because THAT shouldn't be it.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info. Comments to each of your points in spoiler, in blue. I have put Sili on my watch list, and will be interested to see if and how he may have responded to this, if he didn't, I hope someone asked him why!!
What's your thoughts on DPR?

As scum. I explained it all in my ISO on him here: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/91702-standard-1110-top-tier-vanilla-game-thread/?p=3377480

He did post here. Said wow only 40 pages. Tears of joy. Bla bla bla. Lets see what Arsis got me into. I assumed he would have caught up by now. I just wanted to see his recap before the deadline looms over. Cover all my bases.

I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to respond to this later when I have a bit more time. I feel like you are arguing in circles and I can't tell if you are intentionally misunderstanding me. If you goal is to be intentionally frustrating? I don't really like that tactic, fyi. So I'm going to regroup and see if I can get in your head.

Informative lynch is BS. There is no such thing and especially not on D1. A very good way to get townies lynched on D1 though (when actually town flip D1 tends to give close to no info).

Yeah but that was 2 days ago. He'll post something like 30 minutes before deadline after ignoring the thread all week. It's pretty frustrating/annoying. I'm done cutting him slack in the hopes he'll catch up and post something amazing and game solvey and engage the thread with enough time to resolve his slot as opposed to last second posting after ignoring the game.

TL/DR - I'm not moving my vote simply because Pral took over for Arsis.

Oh totally. I'm not disagreeing on that point. I just kinda did wanna see what he would do.

I have a smiley gif set up for Salami, btw. lol

Oh geez!

Hey while you're here; what do you think of Leelou and Tress? I kind of hoped to see more from Tress by now and that has me concerned.

Was a general observation triggered by Nyn's post "understanding Kivam's point about informative lynch".

Note that i dont know the context.

This is the one:  MomentCam_20141107153703.gif

I actually feel the same about Tress. She posted a couple of things. Mainly mindmelding with Des' read list. But yeah, even if she agrees with it I would have liked to see her explaining WHY she has those reads. I wanna see her thought process. Not the end result. Then she kinda started explaining to Sili why his votes do matter even early on and went into the game setup stuff. I'd just like her to weigh in about what's been going on.... which I don't feel she has at all. So I don't feel comfortable moving her from my null pile yet. But if she keeps slanking into D2 as well, it's going to affect my read.

Leelou I got a good feel on from her exchanges with Verbal and Krak. I felt a bit tinfoily when she got unnecessarily brisk with Des but that might have to do with her personality and not so much with her alignment. She can be cranks as either, really. So for now light town read. But I'm definitely watching her for inconsistencies. So far she looks okay.

I think that when you consider a lynch it's good to take it into consideration, but a secondary one. ie.... I think X person is scummy. I'm gonna vote him. If I'm wrong, worse case scenario he'll be a good informative flip. But using an informative flip as the main reason to lynch someone is not something I'd advocate or support.

@Kivam - Do you actually ever plan on responding to the posts I made regarding your scum read on me? I dislike how you continue listing me as one of your top suspects but have failed to interact with me directly this game.

-------------

Yes. Unfortunately, those parts came in pages I thought I'd be able to recap before RL stuff made that less likely. (Note the timestamp on my parts last night -I'm in ny -and you'll get a sense of what work is turning into these days). Gonna try and head back and respond in more detail today

It's okay that way. I just seen lots of agenda pushing along those lines. Usually by scum. Often on me.
