I don't know how many posts I'll be making, Tommy. Why does it matter? I don't spam. I post when I need to. And when I do an ISO, I do it in one thread and spoiler it. And when I catch up, I put all the quotes in one post vs. quoting one post at a time and responding to it. These are things that people should be asked to do.... instead of trying to put a post limit. So what are you gonna do if someone passes the limit? MK them? No. So... what's the point?

I mean, it's your game. Put a limit if you want. But I'm gonna be playing and not really monitoring my post count. So be sure to let me know if there's an issue :P

I'll give out reminders.

I just want the size to be manageable for the lower volume players.

Like legit if I'm in a situation where people are leaning in on me and I need to explain myself and there's like a back and forth face off where I feel like I have to stand my ground and defend myself... it's not fair if I run out of posts and can't do it properly.

Mention fair changes and I just might see the light of day. Trying to control post count can screw with our ability to play.

That's why the restriction is lifted 2 hours before EOD.

Pacing your posting before then is part of the strategy. It becomes part of the game meta.

"Would he post 101 times as a wolf and put an extra vote on himself??"

Not all face offs are 2 hours to deadline.

I think you'd be surprised to realize that we're not a group of 10 year olds. If we're instructed to lay off the multi-post catch ups and keep posts to a minimum, then I'm sure most if not all of us can manage it. Telling us we have X posts for every phase without us being able to foresee if we're gonna be needing to do some heavy talking is narrow minded.

But w/e... as I said... I'm gonna play as I'm gonna play and if I post beyond the limit, then I post beyond the limit *shrugs*

The game is plurality lynch, not majority hammer.

And it's not to punish anyone, just to keep the thread size manageable since this started as a 13p game and is now ~20.

Perhaps I can be of some assistance with this.

In a game where Kivam, Verb, Barm, Leelou, Yates, Wombat, etc. are all involved, it seems anti-productive to institute a post limit.

It also does allow 100 posts from each person that you've instituted the limit because of. Personally, if I have to read 100 posts of man-baby slap-fighting from each of the usual suspects, I shall be very put out.

Much better to enforce a spam-warning system to deal with the problem you have acknowledged. This way, an offender can be mod-killed with ease and you can let the talent get their mafia on.

Spamming is a part of the game, as is hazing, etc. But th emod is in charge of recognizing when a player has stepped out of bounds and is in charge of righting it.

Thanks for leaving me out of the talent group, DPR

I left out Krak, Dice, Hallie, Tress etc. as well - it's a subtle diffusion.

Keep your attention on bullying Tommy. You're doing well with that.
