Like I just poured hours in that ~96 hour period of the VS game. I essentially blew off my entire weekend. There was a time where I was genuinely rustled with Cory because I felt I was playing pretty villagery for myself and he like refused to acknowledge it. I worked my arse off that game trying to be constructive and work with the both of you just to be burned in the end and speed lynched at Mylo because Cory got soft balled an awesome fake claim.

 

So yeah, I'm bitter. I'm burned out.

 

Basically I'm just not going to allow myself to be duped again because I know you are more than capable of fooling me and at the end of the day I feel pretty humbled for succumbing to the manipulation.

I get that. And I'm sorry that we were running around like Tasmanian Devils in that game, I know that kind of duplicity can be disheartening.

 

A wolf named Gadarene did the same thing to me in a game on POG about five months ago. God I couldn't believe it when the game ended and he was scum. He was the only player I was able to hard clear.

 

Oh well.

 

I still ask that you summon some courage and connect dots soon because we are already at a disadvantage with my role.

And to a degree I don't think speculating about it will get me anywhere. Right now, I think the mechanically correct play is to let night actions confirm Tom's alignment. And Arsis for that matter.

Yes, scum's first inclination is always to counter-claim a role that ~never benefits them to counter-claim because it outs them and gains them nothing.

 

What is your mind like?

Cory I have been reading him. I don't think there's a post I can really point to this game that i think I could say with any level of confidence that I don't think Tommy could make as a wolf. And there are several I've pointed out that make me feel this way.

 

So I pushed him a bit. I kept my vote on him from the beginning of Day even as he started gaining other votes because I wanted to see how he'd react under duress. New strategy, which imo is called for after our most recent history. I thought I was reasonably able to read him but have been reminded that I cannot.

 

All this is beside the point anyway. I let go of Tom a while ago and have since moved on.

FTR we killed Slender because he was already onto us and I knew that, not because of his peek -- but since I was godfather and counted as a villager for the N0 peek Rand, there was still a chance he was actually the seer, so it was a win/win kill.

To which I direct you to the last game I played with despot where he and I were both villagers and he did the EXACT SAME THING TO ME which caused me to quit that game, even though I ended up coming back

 

Like seriously despot if all you're going to ever do when we play together is say "You're a bad player and all you ever do is get emotional and get cleared for it" then I don't ever want to play with you. And that means a LOT coming from me, because I forgive practically ANYONE for practically ANYTHING

Honestly, if you can't clear me by now, you have NO CHANCE of EVER hoping to clear me in any game, and that says far more about your play than it does about mine BECAUSE I AM A VERY EASY PLAYER TO CLEAR
