There are other more recent examples, but yeah anytime you see a Beloved Princess claim D1 it's almost guaranteed to be fake claim from scum trying to fearmonger town away from their lynch

 

I called it right on DPR that game, everyone said I was crazy. Said Verbal and Yates were scum together with him, everyone said I was crazy. Verb claimed cop and claimed results and investigations that made no sense, I pointed this out, everyone said I was crazy to vote a claimed cop.

 

I ENDED UP BEING RIGHT ON EVERYTHING.

I didn't claim due to pressure. I claimed because I don't know what else to do and if I can be a clear villager for all of D1 and provide direction I think that's more beneficial overall.

I know as a wolf I've done the "OH WELL WE CAN'T CLEAR TOMMY, HE'S TOO GOOD" act. I remember getting him mislynched in a POG vanilla once late-game to seal a win with that

Doesn't seem like good reason to clear him here for that, even if that was correct. Pretty sure I HAVE seen him fakeclaim as scum however to try and escape pressure. Not this quick, but again the soft claiming and PR hinting could have been meta abuse

Like I just poured hours in that ~96 hour period of the VS game. I essentially blew off my entire weekend. There was a time where I was genuinely rustled with Cory because I felt I was playing pretty villagery for myself and he like refused to acknowledge it. I worked my arse off that game trying to be constructive and work with the both of you just to be burned in the end and speed lynched at Mylo because Cory got soft balled an awesome fake claim.

 

So yeah, I'm bitter. I'm burned out.

 

Basically I'm just not going to allow myself to be duped again because I know you are more than capable of fooling me and at the end of the day I feel pretty humbled for succumbing to the manipulation.
