I feel like, if you were blocked, you would be told that you didn't see anything, as opposed to being told no one visited him. But that's just what I would do as a mod - there's no hard and fast rule on it, so far as I know.

Des claimed Vig

Des claimed he shot at Tommy last night

Des wasn't seen shooting Tommy AND Tommy is alive so Des is claiming he was RBed by scum [because Town RB would have never blocked Des]

 

The interesting wrinkle here is that Tommy could not have been the doc protected scum target [as he claims to believe] and lived if Des ALSO shot at him as a doc protect would only prevent one shot.

Hey guys, before we all wander off into different pushes today, I think we should keep this as a focal point for today.

 

Especially being as a doctor could fully protect someone.

 

The two most likely scenarios here seem to be that either Des is lying about shooting Tom last night or Arsis is lying about no one visiting Tommy.

 

Can anyone think of anyway for their claims to both be true? 

 

If not, we can likely assume that one of the two is lying and should focus on that.

Des could be telling the truth about having a kill but shot at someone else.  In which case he can't say who he really shot at because the doc could come out and nail him as scum.

The way I see it, Tommy, Arsis, and Despo could all be telling the truth if Despo was blocked by a town RB. I'm not saying it's a very likely scenario - mostly just because I think town Roleblockers are not used very often, and, as Sili pointed out, it's just unlikely that the scum nk and a vig kill are blocked on the same night by two different roles.

 

So, possible? Yes. But I'm feeling it's likelier one of them is lying.

 

Frankly, I'd like to sleep on it, I'll be heading to bed soon anyway and I'm too tired to think on it much more right now. Want to hear what everyone else thinks, too.

As I said, all 3 of those happening is a hilariously low percentage.  Not to mention he should have been notified that his action was not successful.  Unless the mod is subpar.  Krak, are you subpar?

How is it the most important?

Why do you think his lore would give hints to every role?

How can you make this jump in logic?

2.  The only logically relevant comment.  But we can't assume there is no SK.  The SK could have been RBed, there could be a shot limitation, they could have gone after a player who was protected/doctored, etc. 

 

So nothing we can make solid assumptions off of.  At best, we can speculate.

It's the singularly most significant role unless there's some nonsense like a ventriloquist or something; more than the survivor, cop, watcher, doc, a serial killer is need to know because it is a faction. And krak has spent a lot of time building up the different factions.

 

1. How many independent factions can you balance in a 16p set up, before the number of scum you have is 2 or 3? Mafia has been implied to be 4p.

2. It's really unlikely. Even if desp is lying about being a vig.
