By asking for a response, Wombat is subtly encouraging modkills. Sneaky sneaky.

I'm mainly trying to figure out how much I can afford to slank.

[unvote] csarmi

Since you're new here I'll let the edit slide this time.

Mod reminder to ALL to read ALL the rules !!!!! You are responsible for knowing them. You have been warned.

How much are you guys planning on posting? Rule 14 could be a bit extreme if you overdo it.

I'll be mostly posting to answer questions or do vote counts. So not super spammy.

Sorry Wolfeh for not reading ahead and seeing you already addressed the rule break.

Scum leans on Thane and Sili so far. Don't totally like either Salami or Tommy, but still within null range.

Why? To everything.

Sili's OP felt like a forced casual post from an experienced player.  The joke about only scum claiming town and then saying he had wanted to be scum but rolled town with the eyeroll added in.

Thane for some of the tone things that Des seems to have seen.

As for you and Salami, I didn't like your hedge on Thane where you said that you might back off if others piled on.  Salami calling w/w on Des/Thane felt a bit chainsawish to me.

This is Sili's fourth or fifth game ever. I can see him evolving rapidly, but he's not experienced.

Do you think scum is likely to attract flop votes on D1?

I'd rather not put in 8 hour days playing mafia either though.

Hi wwwwwwwwwombat!

Hi.

Four or five could be enough depending on how quick of a study he is.  I'll take that into consideration though.  More posts from Sili will eventually help too.

What exactly do you mean by flop votes?

So, you base my scum lean on something that someone else might have picked up..... that's pretty thin imo. I'm more interested in your own personal opinion.

glad you're in the game though Wombat, been a while since we had a game together

What if his opinion is the same as one already stated?  You can't cast doubt on somebody while using a poor counter yourself.

Wombat, it's kind of a problem that my brain assumed you had voted for Thane based on your initial post despite you voting for Sili and maintaining him as lead wagon. I'm wary of someone listing two scum and voting their second best suspect, but the wagon timing is potentidlly bleh.

FYI: I won't be around much today, it's my husband's birthday and I like him enough to celebrate with him.:laugh:

That said vote counts will be scarce today.

If it would be his personal opinion, i assume he would have worded it diffirently. As in: I agree with Des that Thane's tone is off. In his current wording, i conclude that he's solely using Des' findings

Good response.  I retract my immediate suspicion.

What I'm saying is your tone is bad and that I'm pretty sure Des noticed it.

Your vote for Thane is an example of a flop vote. It limply piles on without generating new reasoning or discussion.

Your vote for Sili*

Given your definition, I think scum is probably about rand to get flop votes, but some of it depends on meta.  I also don't see my vote as a flop vote.  I don't limp into anything.  Except a pot that comes around to me with no bets.

I considered voting Thane, but something about the way you Des and Salami have interacted wrt him is bugging me.

My problem with Thane is that his tone always seems off to me and scummy. And half the time what he says doesn't make sense to me. Not sure if it's a language thing or what. The only difference I see is that on spaceballs, for instance, he was very much at the sidelines and coasting through with the off post here and there. He also really enjoyed using the confused card. Here so far he's meeting posts head on in real time. So it gives me pause. So I'm giving him a tentative null for now.

Looking forward to see what Des meant.
