*sighs*

ah well, if that's what you think Des, then that's too bad. You're wrong, andsomewhere during this game, we'll find out that you are. I never said IF i'd flip town, but when... small but important detail. Though, you'll never believeme, so i'm going to talk more to the other players who seem more reasonable.

It's normal that i'm trying to get attention away from me, because all the energy you waste on me could be used finding scum. Unless you're one, then you only need a mirror.

I don't care about that scum claim, but this response was forced.

>>

Well I'm not going to vote for you or anything, but I'm not as confident anymore.

@scum claim. seems like you slipped out of your town-role for a second and spoke as a third party. It happens. Though I wonder when the last time an actual wolfed slipped and claimed scum anyway - how common is that?

Not very frequent, I imagine, but I could be wrong given how little experience I have. I defer to those with a better head on their shoulders :: Tom, AJ, Nyn.

How often do wolves slip and scum claim? Not often. More reliable and more likely to find ?_? logic or really wolfy tone than a real slip.

@Yates - what do you make of our mindmeld with Tommy? Cause I don't see your point there... basically, Tommy has posted the same questions as I did like two posts later about three times (early game).

Posted

Sili's posts about his heart being broken are so goofy that I think it makes him even more likely town. He reminds me of this guy Fran from POG who just started playing and trolls heartily and ends up clear for it.

I still think your sandwiches make you slightly more than rand to be town even ignoring everything else. You continuing to post and fight recently is also good.

also, i am not a bad town >>

probably. or im getting better anyway.

its also not my fault if i dont care i come off as a little scummy, since i can get away with it

What do you mean

I hate it with the passion of 1000 burning suns. I want you to post original content BEFORE Tommy. No more calling "agreements" "mindmelds!" If Tommy wants to agree with YOU then call THAT a feather in your cap, not the other way around.

Running audit btw

Quick and crazy thoughts tho- I almost feel like going in a completely different direction now. I don't wanna clear Salami for the emo cause I'm still worried he could have been trying to force his meta... But he could just be having an off start to this game. He certainly participates at least.

And as far as Sili goes, I'm kinda getting too wolfy to be a wolf vibes, as much as I hate saying that.

I wanna reread Clov and mebbe Wombat later to make sure I'm not losing my mind with either one of those, bit regardless I doubt I'd support a lynch on either today

So why not instead go for one of the slankers? Normally I hate blind lynches and lynching a slanker would certainly give us less info, but at the same time I like creating an environment where the pressure is on pretty much everyone to prove their towniness, and we might be off to a good start here

Anyone else think that might be the way to go?

Just thinking out loud, but that may favor wolves more than towns.

How?

scum would be (imo): Csarmi, Clov, Hallia, Wombat.

Here now

That's a really odd scum list.  It basically has half of the team fighting the other half and each half would be buddying itself kinda hard.  Makes no sense to me from a town PoV.  It feels like you just wanted to have all the top lynch candidates in your scum reads.

I also  this post a lot. I was already thinking Verbal could be one of the top slankers to earn a vote, considering he himself even defended his "new" meta of having more thread presence early on, yet he has had like zero thread presence. Seeing his posts in iso.... yeah he looks turrible

1. The way he backed off his FOS of Thane so quick was wolfy imo (and actually makes Thane/Verb almost more likely of a scum pairing than Thane/Wombat)

2. As scum he kinda makes a point of defending weird stuff about himself- like he cares more about defending his meta in general or his mafia skill level than actual game events. When he defends himself as town it usually has much more to do with actual things he's done in THAT specific game

3. Also didn't like the part where he talked about the meaning of "rand". It was pointless, had no value to the thread, and he was basically too "political" in his wording there, a bit too careful not to step on Nyn's toes, and again as scum Verb will often have more side discussions about stuff like that as opposed to concrete gameplay stuff

Verb doesn't post on weekends.  You know this  The accusation of inactivity is rubbish.

I really liked you coming around here but I disagree we should lynch a low info slot given the existing vote movement. We can pressure them but a CFD onto a not discussed wagon is not gonna help as much. Salami continued building heat against the Wombat wagon. Sili was pushed over Thane or Wombat. Hallia dissipates fast. We have wagonomics to work with.

My motto is - and I should probably add it to my sig - I don't care about LOOKING Town, I just BE Town. So that's a good attitude to reinforce because I feel like a lot of low content posters that are Town are afraid of being "wrong."

What is this I don't even?

Do you think that Tommy copied me there (on purpose)... or do you think he simply had the same questions at the same time?

Salami DID post before me. That's what's notable about it.

Blue: Nynaeve

Light blue: Hally, Leelou, Tommy

Green: Sili

Orange: Verb, Thane, Alanna

Red: Wombat, Clov

Too many wolves IMO.

And no Despo I dunno where I stand on you. At all.

Lol.  I accuse you of having not enough scum reads and all of a sudden you have "too many wolves."  You pulled those orange reads out of your rear.  Thane is the only one of them that makes any sense.

Pages 70-72 are making me do this irt Wombat:

Despo serious question. Can you buy Wombat being genuine in his last 15 pages?

Lol.  Not too transparently opportunistic or anything.

Seconded. I told Sili to post whatever comes to mind even if he thinks it sounds dumb. Makes players way easier to read.

I thought you were less concerned with info and more concerned with just getting the lynch right? Am I confusing you with Cory again?

I *DO* want to ask you about your Leelou read, though. Is she Town, as you suggested earlier? What am I missing? I see no value added posts by her.

Leelou has been busy this weekend and also struggling with the posting rate of the thread. I realize she doesn't have a lot of posts, compared to some, but the game related ones ring true IMO. Now, I don't expect others to nod along as I say this, but as I mentioned before, we were HEAVILY frustrated the last game when we rolled scum. And I think it showed in our play. I tend to think that if she rolled scum this game I would notice something off. It's not like Lee has never fooled me in the past by any means... and I'm not saying that she's not more than capable to mask her true feelings if need be.... but I get such a natural feel from her and an ease that I don't think is fake.

So I'm rollin' with it. I don't expect anyone else to blueread her because I think it's a very individual thing. But I don't see why would be more than null to anyone else at this point, if anything.

good question! i was waiting for the opportunity to jump at this tinfoil

okay, so my theory goes that wolves should be more self-conscious because they're lying and need to make their posts believable. this means they pay more attention to what they say and will have a better guise as town, or at least maintain a decent level of consistency between posts. Also, a hostile environment is the scum's native habitat. They love conflict and instigating on fake lynches, so an environment that encourages this behavior is probably to their liking.

done my tinfoil. comment?

It's both. If we CFD and get it wrong we lose a lot more than lynching a "hub" and getting it wrong. Talked about this in depth in Woodstock.

If that's the case I hadn't noticed. Do you have 1 or 2 examples? I just hate that they are being called "mindmelds." It's gimmicky and forced and that makes Csarmi hard to read this game. I don't recall it being this bad in other games.

Was early. Search for the word sandwiches and they should come up.

Alright. In that case I'm happy with where I have her. I can't have her using your shared history together against you. I'll play bad cop. Comes natural to me anyway. :P

Yeah. I recall reading about sandwiches earlier. I'll look if Csarmi is in peril. Let me get caught up on the stuff since I entered the game first before back tracking.
