Csarmi I am basically keeping you as a green read because of D1, but I have repeatedly asked you to take stronger stances and to stay current instead of just asking those frivolous questions you always do.

I also dislike how you try to chastise me for voting Sili and saying it was inevitable when you weren't voting ANYONE at the time. If you want to maintain your green read then I need you to take a bigger part of the game. You sitting back and complaining how all of the lynches are probably going to flip town when you aren't actively pushing anyone else is not going to look good for you in the long run.

Umm.

I took a pretty firm stance on D1 and also told you guys not to lynch Thane.

I took a pretty firm stance on D2 about Sili's lynch being bad. You guys insisted on derping tho. Whatever.

And I think I made my reads quite transparent - transparent enough anyway. Like why I think Des was scum. I'm doing what I can.

It's true that my reads got pretty shaken by Clov's claim and Womby flipping town and never really managed to follow D2 closely enough but that's what it is... Sorry.

I think you of ALL players this game should know that I'm heavily outside of my wolf range.

Are you?

I didn't read you in my game or in DBZ so I'm not familiar with your wolf game; I just know you slanked hard in my game and that you gained new wolf cred after DBZ.

What would you say are the differences here?

Sa-la-mi. Do you agree that last game you had two strong scumtells:

1) You never got upset, ever, despite the game being very upsetting

2) You fell off the face of the earth after mid-D2

Do you think you're guilty of #2 here?

Do you think #1 could apply to Despot in this game?

Yes #1 could qpply to Despo here. Not sure if it is a scum tell for him tho.

I'm just blown away that Des never even blinked at the Sili tracker claim shenanigans. Calling people lock wolves for getting @ him is like his bread and butter.

Again, you just really don't know me at all do you Tommy

My town range is me in this game.

'nough said imo.

My thread presence. My open mindedness. My tendency to try to see things from both POVs and also how I tend to want to give players the benefit of the doubt instead of damn them permanently as a wolf forever. My activity level. My engagement of others. My fluid thought process and how I am able to substantiate my reads based on things I have picked up on ITT.

Need I saw more?

I'm heavily a villager this round.

Plus I killed SP, so there's that.

All of this applies to me, perhaps moreso than you. I could argue you sheeped me on Wombat pretty hard on D1 and then fell off after D2.

You get that, or no?

Posted

If you're hard claiming vig it's fine, but I want you to recognize that you would be on about the same tier of clearedness as me without a claim and to argue otherwise is to be myopic.

Posted

I think I added my own points as to my read on Wombat, thank you very much. Some that you seconded. Do I need to pull quotes?

And I fell off D2 because I was focusing more on your game.

Posted

Frankly I'm not worried about my level of clearedness.

I think I've got this game mostly solved and I doubt I'm getting lynched any time soon.

But you never really seemed to get back into this game after that. There are periods of aggression but they make way for apathy again and again. It's the one thing that I would have thought is a plausible wolf tell for you without the claim.

I'm not picking a fight with you but I do want you to see how you're not a shining example of villageryness and how it's a bit irksome to be falling into your suspect range for having a pretty similar game to your own.

Leelou

Her L-1 vote on Sili was a scumclaim. I don't CARE how annoying that crap was, as Alanna said it was EXTREMELY easy to ignore. Her putting him at hammer range and then him self-voting soon after, basically locks Leelou in as scum pretty neatly.

However, she has certainly had more questionable things against her. I found her reads list to be incredibly weak (I'll post it later if I have time, but yeah it was weak), I think after getting townread from tone she then disappeared from the thread generally, and speaking of- look at who essentially cleared her. Clov had that wacky tobacky "gambit" with her early on then backed off crazy quick, and also in trying to "pressure" her to see how happy or frustrated she might respond, he could have set her up to be miscleared on tone in the first place. Nyn was also one to clear Leelou early on for this, and while I can KINDA see her theory about Leelou not being as upset if she rolled scum with Verbal, at the end of the day, this is still a theory, and Nyn could have just been a scummate trying to clear a teammate early in the game. Leelou talking up Nyn's towniness sooooooo much also kinda seems odd, but eh I'm getting sidetracked somewhat (this is the Leelou show, not the Leelou/Nyn show)

She along with Hallia and Nyn fell for my AJ trap, and has had really poor thread presence throughout. While this isn't damning in and of itself, since it HAS been a lot more active than she's used to, when she has been here she just has not looked like she's been that interested in solving. Most of the time she's defending herself snarkily or talking smack about Csarmi or something. And then she kept saying she would need more time to read Verb, but when her reads list finally dropped, she just said she hadn't seen any scummy sounding posts from him

Conclusion: My new wow buddies have betrayed me! (Hallia and Leelou, and possibly Verbal)

Meh, sorry for the L-1, but I had already posted earlier I had Sili as a scum lean, I didn't really see any need to not vote. Plus, there were 8 other people voting him before me, so not really all my fault he got lynched.

I actually don't think I've been overly snarky this game. My reads are what they are, can you point out what you don't like? AJ was a bit weird with Wombat in the beginning, he's gotten better since being in the thread and engaged. Yes, this game is far too active for me to handle. Not sure what is up with Clov. Salami is still in the game and I'm wavering on him, Des. Would you rather I just ignore him completely?

Def not even close to being able to convince me here. First paragraph is turrible defense. Many people were VERY vocal about why waiting longer before lynching him would be a good idea so your "I didn't really see any reason to not vote" doesn't hold up at all. Shirking responsibility with the "8 people voted before me" is even worse, considering your L-1 vote put him within self hammer range and I'm pretty positive 8 people didn't vote before you. Iirc, it was 7 to hammer yesterday so either 5 or 6 people voted before you (and likely 2 scummates in Clov and Hallia)

Second paragraph is meh, nothing you say there actually shows why you'd be town here

As I explained before, if Hallia flips wolf I think that heavily implicates you for your arguments irt Yates on D2.

While your points DO have merit and are *technically* correct I feel like the way Yates handled things on D1 were villagery and since I have found your activity level/votes to be sketchy.

I'm not locking you in as a wolf yet but you ARE in my POE.

I still don't understand how you guys don't understand obvious wagonomics -- like really obvious -- but I'm not gonna repeat it for the eleventh time, but you linking me to her for misunderstanding logic is pretty lazy.

No, Alanna is totally right here- you linking Hallia and Yates there WAS wolfy. Luckily your Clov push has pretty much helped clear you for me

I think it's funny that Yates gave me crap for hours for wanting to vote Hallia over Thane D1, then when I acquiesced and lynched Thane I get crap for defending Hallia? Makes me chuckle a bit. If you have time you should read that again.

Posted

Csarmi you should probably stop trying to make reads if you aren't caught up in real time.

You mean i should stop playing whatsoever? There is zero chance of a reread ever happening and evwn reading evwrything just once is unlikely. You're trying to have it both ways. I should post and i should not post.

Wahteves.

What you are pushing is obvious, yeah, but that doesn't make it true. As I have said before I found Yates activity around the wagons on D1 to be villagery. You wanting to link him as hard defending Hallia is ~plausible but also could indicate you have knowledge of her alignment and want to make Yates look bad later if Hallia were to die.

Where was this conviction D2 where you were on Sili? I don't even remember when/how you voted him.

So why did you lynch Thane?

Posted

No broskis, it's still pretty simple.

If there are 3 wagons and 1 is a wolf, it's far more beneficial to the wolves to stack one of the wagons and have the wagons be like 6-2 rather than have three wagons and make them 3-3-2, because the chance that the wolf can get randomly CFD'd by a mood swing is much greater with spread votes.

Thane was a leader wagon over Hallia, partially thanks to Yates championing the Thane wagon. When the SP wagon was proposed, Yates argued to keep votes on the Thane wagon, thus maintaining the strong vote lead to prevent a Hallia wagon from taking off. Whether he meant to do this or not is not my current argument; it's the fact that this was the consequence of his actions.

You cannot argue otherwise. Because it doesn't make any sense to argue otherwise.
