We built a good enough PoE with Hally for D1 on what we think and feel. And we have the preferences on where to lynch based on that.

 

We're the intuitive type both and you know it. That's doubly true for D1. I'm pretty sure our reads are actually quite good but I'm not gonna pull quotes. For instance cause I'm not the woting or casing type and cause I play on phone like 99% of time.

I cleared her for a bunch of content I don't remember her doing in the previous game we played - she tends to fade into the background a lot as scum.

I can give.my thought process.

 

I saw the claim. I really didn't expect a miller in a standard game which I look at as effectively basic. But lately everyone else has been saying that if miller claim right away. I wanted to "go along with" general theory and see what happened. I had come our of a recent game that I has gone hard at a miller claim. So there was me being different. I asked for his flavor which he gave. I said it was plausible. Csarmi who was the person to claim miller in that last game asked how I felt. I kept the soft acceptance going to see what he would say particularly. He questioned. Ithi saw the miller claim and voted it. We had talked after the other game that miller in this environment is a reasonable fake claim especially in a game that is likely only going to have a cop. She voted him before I knew it. I would have kept going longer but her vote and having already got csarmi to respond put the reason as low gain. So I went on to question. I trusted csarmi went he said that miller is possible in standard games. (Side question: is Sk within the range for standard as well?).

 

I still think that people are too willing to mark Someone town for that claim. Related question, if you have one person that claims miller and another that claims vt, both about the same itt. Who is the better lynch?

 

Once I was looking ay TG his actions didn't.match his words so to.me that is the biggest mafia tell for anyone. Meri said something odd in one of her post about Ithi too. She said that she hopes Ithi can get her things resolved and get back into the game. Which wouldn't.be weird if she didn't vote us in the same post. Maybe I read it wrong.

 

Btw Despo, you stated that you thought the lynch the miller claim had merit if it hadn't come from me due to lack.of credibility. A good idea isn't tarnished.by the messenger.

Of course I said I hope Ithi gets her things resolved. Why wouldn't I? She seems nice enough. I have no reason to dislike her, not really anyway. She was playing the game as she saw fit. I am doing the same thing. Why would being on seemingly opposing sides of a mafia game make me wish her ill in real life? That would be absolutely shallow!

 

 

Despo do you have a won't lynch list? Same thing. As it works right now all the candidates are on my wtl list. Except myself.

If I am the lynch so be it. Just do as I ask and consider what I have said after I flip town.

 

There's still a difference between "I'm willing to lynch anyone on this list" and "I'm willing to consolidate on any of my scum reads"

 

Consolidate specifically means you're voting more to secure a lynch, not go with your top scum reads. It's an unnecessary and irrelevant word there, so you including it looks like scum tripping up over their wording and also possibly you ditching responsibility for a vote later on - because it's for "consolidation" while still trying to look protown and make it seem like you are only willing to lynch your scum reads

I was under the impression Millers as a negative utility role usually "had to" be lynched sooner or later, as it's a great hideout for scum, which is why Millers usually claim right off the bat. If I got the "strategy" wrong then I stand corrected and will remember from now on.  

I dunno what to say really... I still can't see the case on me. Some people have pulled up my posts and said "I think this is bad". 

 

The other stuff dragged up is just bungus. I was eager to jump into the thread and get into the flow of the thread instead of just staying completely silent while I re-read (while the thread was growing). So I threw some stuff out there to see what happened. I never expected that to be seen as scummy, least of all garner me enough votes to be in the lead. I'm not even fully caught up yet and still people are jumping at me for... something. 

 

So yeah, frustrated and annoyed here. Tried to put in some time to re-read, get in the flow and get ready to do some #work. With a lot of content (82 pages in fact) of content people are lynching the SUB-IN!? I don't even know what to say. 

 

So yes. I claim frustrated townie. 

 

Erm, Vos, I clearly stated the reasons we claimed. I realize that I'm new at this, but I was in a standard game just recently that had a mafia LAWYER in it! Talk about twisted! :)

 

Also, if I was mafia I sure wouldn't be playing to Town. It would be dumb to claim a role like Miller right at the beginning of day one, particularly since no one would have attention on me in the first place. That kind of claim attracts attention.

 

I know that at some point I'll likely end up dead, but winning for me, means that mafia is neutralized in the end. :) So, as long as Town succeeds, I am quite happy.
