You do see in the quote above where you said 'You seriously trying to say the Cop should view TG after he claimed Miller? Are you seriously saying that? Regardless of whether TG is faking Miller or not, Cop viewing him would be an absolutely terrible idea.'

 

My point was that you were trying to make it seem like a bad thing that the Cop wouldn't view TG if he "got away with it"

 

Scum wouldn't fake claim Miller just to keep from being viewed by a cop, that's redonkulous. The claim would put them at the forefront of the discussion, whereas there would only be a chance of getting viewed normally.

 

I think the blurb about the Cop was unnecessary and that it was just your bitterness about people believing the Miller claim bleeding through.

 

It's kinda like Yates point about your redundancy with the "Town" Miller thing. Scum are more self-conscious so will slip in little blurbs that town wouldn't.

 

Bold: holy out of left field goal post moving. How you could get that from the cop would not view is truly redonkulous to again use your word. The point is and has always been that the cop would never view him because he has already implanted that doing so serves no purpose. They do not seem to be at the forefront of discussion at the moment by anyone except us. People are most likely in the "lets see what happens" mode because they followed the rules of claiming early. Mafia wouldn't fake claim Miller to keep from being viewed but it is a side benefit. They would do it in this way to be put on null, or tbdl pile. that wouldlikely get them two days safe barring any major slips. 

 

The town miller thing is just a stretch. That you are citing it makes you look like you are just reaching for anything to stick.

There is no waffling between the two. The initial look was because the claim did not sit well. So after applying some pressure and seeing his response I am more convinced he is mafia. You gonna tell me it is bad to pressure people that you find suspicious and see how they respond?

I'd self vote and get rid. It's a negative to Town.

So if you are a Miller you cause uncertainty and wifom.

There's no real good reason to keep you about.

Glems, this. And several subsequent posts. Given the game I was in just prior with Arsis and how Town wanted to simply lynch him on day one instead of hunting for mafia... why would we make a similar claim? Honestly, the only way for Town to be sure whose side we're on is to lynch us. And that is a waste of day one. Why didn't we just try to draw a NK for tonight, and then claim on Day 2?

 

This is the "as mafia I would never do this" argument. Arsis claimed survivor which is not the same as Miller. The claim gets made so that you get taken off the table as that day's lynch and you never get viewed by a cop. Exactly that is why it is frequently a good thing to lynch Miller claims. 

 

It would not be a waste even if you did flip town. It would be less than ideal, but I still think you guys are mafia.

But the dark chocolate flavor is so smooth. It would be a mod-provided fake claim if TG was scum. Would the scumteam decide to go all-in on that claim ~45 minutes after PMs were sent out and the game began? They couldn't have all been online. Would TG act on his own and make that decision capriciously? I doubt it.
