Might be the sickness, though -- real life's gotten me seriously Swamped and I'm considering having to ask for a replacement in all the games I'm in currently. Will make that decision tomorrow after I've gotten some Rest.

 

Arsis still sounds Town-like to me. Lots of little against-the-flow -things that don't fit the impression I got off him in the early game.

The Healer-gambit by Halligeddon was Silly but they're still among the slots I'm most comfortable taking off the suspect pool. Csarmi's Like This as Town if I've profiled him correctly, and I've seen Hallia flip Scum several times and pretty much since this Round started she hasn't seemed Similar.

Tomstress is a slot I'd still like to imagine as Town but I'm starting to see more worlds where it's actually Scum.

Darthe has been underwhelming -- not just the postcount, but the content somehow as well. I haven't been able to follow it as well as I feel I've been able to in some earlier Rounds where he's been Town -- though I can't say that I'd have gotten an expert handle on it ever.

I'm very glad TGlems replaced TSB -- seems like an awesome guy and probably will contribute enough to allow people to read him correctly. Null so far, but that should probably change soon for all of us.

Dice -- plausible Scum. Slightly pinged me when I read the last few pages, seemed kind of cautious to me.

Pral -- I want an open confrontation with him and a lot of Attention on him. Don't want anyone getting free passes just because they've been implying they COULD be a PR when as Mafia the group would be likely to realize Pral is among the likely D2-lynches based on the D1. Tbqh I didn't read his compilation on Yates just now because I physically couldn't. The thing giving me the most second-thoughts about him is actually the Suspect Pool he's arrived to.

Yates -- maybe the Player around whom the most things revolve right now. Could see going either way and I'm not able to articulate any more coherent thoughts in my current state.

Krak -- not as well connected as Yates but other than that very similar thoughts (or a lack of them, to be more precise) -- could see going either way. What Tommy said about the 'wagonomics' yesterday is true and I remember seeing some Town-leaning posts when I was around yesterday, maybe Town gun-to-my-head but DEFINITELY still in the Suspect Pool.

Despot -- well okay I don't really feel like tinfoiling on him, almost at all. Should probably make a compilation of all the people he's pushed, at some point.

 

I realized while writing that that... the whole GAME has actually been full of consensus-y reads. Like, two 'camps' of people and that's about it... Actually makes it easier for Scum to blend in? Need some red fliiiiiiiiips.

 

Manbat gets a Scumread by virtue of me having forgotten he's in this game when compiling this post. Pressure, please.

Hi Slendy.  I've been ignoring you because I don't know why.  Could you tell me how many scum are in that list of five I put on the last page and order them from most town to most scum?

Unfortunately Salami is like this as town but I don't think Hally would go along with it.  The reads list Slendy put up was really good though I dislike the wishy-washiness present on Des, Tommy and Yates.  I've got them marked as my three power players this game and think one is scum and I sense that Slendy does too here but eventually we are all going to have to make a decision to test one of them.  To clarify, I don't think it is remotely scummy of him I just dislike the game state where it is present for all three of them.

I suspect scum between TG (or rather the slot he replaced, got nada on him yet) and Laya, scum between that initial group of five I posted about and scum in krak, dice and des.

This is why I said we need to re-assess the game. There's either lurker scum or there's active scum being cleared for meta incorrectly.

Okay once again I got a bunch of quotes pulled, will prob be posting some wots later tonight at work (have been off the past two nights)

 

General thoughts atm tho is I see a lot of blase feelings and such, and well we def need to reassess things somewhat in individual scenarios, HOWEVER that doesn't mean scrap all the #work that's been done up to this point. Turin and Ithi played bad games, period. Ithi was gone for a while and then didn't really defend herself well when she got back and then felt like being obstinate when others were asking her to defend herself better (ie get out more fresh reads, evaluate more recent goings on) and Turin was really a mess the whole time.

 

So while I totally see why a lot of people would be losing some WIM, I also don't think that everyone should be so dejected, and in fact I think there's a very good chance scum are trying to hide behind the "dejected" type posts to fit in with the "sapped WIM" crowd. So buck up and start more objective type analysis in lieu of whining about current thread state

 

Other generic stuff- haven't read Pray's case in detail but him resurfacing the way he has DEF makes me feel a lot better about him. He's not resurfacing simply to defend himself or put in lazy fake scumhunting type posts, he's putting in what looks like real #work. So I'm glad there.

 

Also TG replaced Swag, that's also good since Swag was another somewhat unknown for me. The argument about him playing without reading his role pm was pretty stupid tho imo.

 

What else... oh yes Yates is still sticking with his stale as hell "Why are people townreading Tom" thing, and has literally put basically ZERO effort into anything BUT that angle the past like ever it seems. That whole scumhunting angle seems weak as hell to me, and Yates sticking with it so long looks turrible to me.

 

But to answer stuff he was directing at me somewhat- Tommy is a completely different player than just about anyone else on DM. You're absolutely right in that other people trying to jump up and down and scream about how towny they are would prob draw my attention- however for Tommy this kind of behavior is ABSOLUTELY null at best. And honestly, Yates trying to spin that as anything BUT null is ridic scummy. I don't generally like to apply universal scumtells for people- I keep in mind which player is exhibiting those tells and how likely they are to exhibit that as town or scum. In Tommy's case, I absolutely believe him to be town this game, and while I won't say he's completely out of his scum range (cause that's dumb, he's very good as scum) I really wouldn't start tinfoiling on him unless he carried through this "sapping WIM" thing through endgame as he watched mislynch after mislynch.

 

Okay what else... Darthe def pinging me more and more of late. He's had a lot of really self-conscious looking posts lately, like him trying to be tongue in cheek about looking kinda bad atm. Krak STILL not posting is just blech. Dice sticking to his basically meta-stance on Tommy and not mentioning much else lately is also blech. Manbat still coasting and fluffing along and just putting in little blurbs about "Wah people aren't townreading me that makes me sad" while previously saying he HADN'T been putting as much effort in so can understand why people are losing their townreads on him is worse. Yates trying to say Slender should lead now RIGHT AFTER Slender has just been brought forth as a potential deep wolf candidate is pretty bleurgh, regardless of Slender's alignment. Looks like Yates trying to keep wifom alive and direct threadflow without leading himself.

 

Figure I might as well post a POE, realized I haven't done that in a while, if ever this game (kept meaning to get to it before but kept falling behind)
