We are actually doing the majority of our chatting in the game itself because habits die hard.

This is how my Kates hydra with Key went, fwiw. We would typically write a couple of things in our QT after we had already posted. Maybe had one or two convos about a couple of people we were unsure about but for the most part we just rolled with it.

Not saying it's alignment indicative but that's how a lot of hydras work.

I saw that, because turin was missing Mafia and so had been reading along with just about all the games. Anyways I saw Kates and I'm like - who is Kates? Did Yates get banned and come back with a fake name and he's got the cahoonies to post in the game with it?

Apparently that was NOT what happened. Would have been slightly impressive though. You'd have been double banned and would have eventually run out of letters to stick to the front of 'ates.

Who else is playing in the game that I don't know? I don't like not knowing people. I can't file and store their posts away properly and so I can't hold the game proper.

Krak hasn't given me any reason to call him town. Has he for you?

Post 2190 felt genuine to me.

The difference to the previous game is astounding.

TBF, that was the most effort I've ever seen out of Krak. And that's what's frustrating. He's actually really good at this game when he has time/puts in the effort. He just doesn't do it - for whatever reason.

Anyway, he doesn't have enough content for a solid read yet but that one post sounded good and I've been hoping to see some quality posts this day phase.

Actually Yates you're right that Krak post has good, honest tone.

I still want to lynch Turin; bonus is if he flips scum it clears Des and Krak to some degree for thinking Des's case on Turin was good enough to merit a vote.

Kinda worried Monstr has abandoned this game. Where are you monstr?

Other peoples cases are useful aren't they?

Why do you think Turin is Mafia? Do you think I'm Mafia.

Do you not think that Despo is doing his usual Turin Tunnel - although I'm along for the ride this time.

But seriously - saying other people's cases are sufficient is lazy and opportunistic. I do hope people remember that after the fact.

As a very recent example, this post reads so pure to me that I will be legit impressed with Darthe if he made this post as scum.

Okay, so if Darthe is wagon #1, who do you want as wagon #2? SP? Krak?

Krak hasn't given me any reason to call him town. Has he for you?

I thought we were wagon no. 1. Where did darthe pop into it. Aren't we at the top of Tommy's list too? Maybe not. I'll have a look in a second. I need go read the Meri stuff too.

TG don't want to be a suspect anymore. Just because you're dying doesn't mean you get a 'get out of being called Mafia free' card.

If you get healed you'll still have to be lynched.

What even is this Ithi? I'm answering TG's question, it's clear from this page alone that I do not advocate making Darthe the #1 wagon.

That was ALL aimed at TG. I thought that was quite clear. I'm interested as to why you would think any of it was aimed at you though.

You thought I was having a poke about?

I found my question for Tommy.

Ithi - I have to tell you that your recent posts have been very confusing, for the most part. I can't tell if you are skimming and just missing the context of people's posts or what.

Could you do me a favor and summarize your current concerns in a numbered list or something like that?

Posted

It looked like you trying to catch me in a slip and pick a fight with me over something stupid, yeah.

Anyway, I've made my request: if you make an effort to solve the game I'll reconsider you. But you and Turin going on about how you'll flip town is becoming extremely boring, not to mention unhelpful.

Case-in-point, ftr:

You thought I was having a poke about?

You... quoted me. You quoted my post. With quotes. The quotey kind.

Posted

Ithi you're reading like someone with dementia and stumbling around aimlessly and that's not what I would expect from a very vocal and opinionated player who is being "wrongly" wagoned right now.

Posted

I can't say that we won't though.

You can be bored - it's fine.

I'm going back looking for that Meri post and found Tommy voting us for stuff that Turin did. Is weird he now says we worth a vote because Despo's case was good.

Yup - Someone called Slenderman says - so what went down yesterday and Tommy says there were some other wagons, but probly only Turin was Town cos Hally and CSarmi are claiming healer. The Tommy quotes all of the votes and says Pral, Turin and Darthe all voted Arsis at the same time. Tommy then sticks with Turin's votes and does some more quotes to say who he was going to end up on. There's some weird stuff about Turin and Pral being masons - I can tell you that Turin is not a Mason - The Tommy continues with Turin being mafia because he stopped voting Arsis. Then a lot more Turin posts being quoted and Tommy saying that Turin is paranoid, so he should have been unhappy about the arsis wagon stalling.

THEN

A boat load more Turin quotes, saying he is Meh and rambling. Then the early quotes where he says stuff about TG and then I vote TG and then Turin changes and agrees with me. I did explain this btw - I don't discuss what I'm doing. I just do it.

AND THEN

After about 2 whole pages of quotes about and by Turin, Tommy votes us.

So why would he now be saying that Despo's case makes it worthwhile to vote us, when he spent ages doing his own? It doesn't make sense.

Still I'm glad I went back to find the Meri quote or I wouldn't have seen it.

I'd prefer it if you didn't say I had dementia please.

I don't mind being wagoned. It'll all come out in the wash.

I haven't been following along with the game so I'm just picking bits out that I see and responding to them. I don't have a lot of time and might be Lynch by tomorrow so I'm doing the best I can.

Ooops - my bad. I think I read that on email and it didn't give the quotey bits - so I didn't see who he was responding to. And then when I opened it up on the phone I'd already gone past that part.

Oh bugger.

Well I am a little.

I'm trying to catch up and doing a terrible job. Sorry.

My memory just isn't as it should be. That's why I kind of stopped playing - but Turin missed it and so here we are. It's difficult when I've missed so much of the game. I normally manage to hold it in one piece, but because it's already fragmented it's just not working.

I'll try again.

Apologies for the mis-rep there. You were probably still already voting for us.

THIS.

I just got home from work today. Tommy WRT to the D1 EOD and my vote on Vos. I think I noticed how awful his post was or at least mentioned before anyone other than slender. I asked for the lin to it previously to show that but never got it. I will see if I can dig it up in a bit.

So what if others I thought were mafia were voting the person I thought mafia. I was open ridiculed for having too many mafia in my list (even including Vos TUVM Yates). I know that you all can't be mafia and it is D1 so when I saw the load of poodoo that the post was I mentioned it. I don't have much time to go about digging things up and such and hate voting from phone if I can avoid it. So I waited to vote until later. I still think Arsis could well be mafia As I think you could. But I thought that Vos was about as close to a slam dunk as there is in this game. give me a few minutes or maybe an hour if there is a lot of current stuff going on and I will try to show you what I think happened.

I'm still willing to listen to you two and consider you might be town (and sometimes I get that sense) but I really need to be wined and dined and told how pretty my hair is and then taken to the range where we share a laugh and pop some cardboard wolves.

Posted

You have a beard in your avatar.

I'm very good at clay pigeon shooting.

We don't have ranges as we don't do guns here.

That's a lie though as my over is called a range.

I can make Yorkshire puddings.

I'm sorry - I'm just not as needing to be hanging out with the cool kids as ahem certain people are so I'm absolutely no good at sucking up and saying people are awesome.

Does that mean we're going to die?

Posted

I mostly want to know who YOU think should be scum here. You keep saying "reconsider people after we flip" well yeah okay but hearing WHO from you first would help.

One of the problems I have is that if you're not scum then my cleared list might be wrong and I don't want that. I don't want to be wrong.

Posted

Oh ... well I haven't really got that far yet. I only came back into the game this evening and I haven't really looked about much yet. I'm just trying to go back through the Poisoner announcement stuff - to see who said what, and if anything felt weird to me.

I really have had to turn off the notifications as I was missing emails about real stuff that I needed to respond to instantly.

I normally just form opinions as I go along and this sudden immersion is not really a good thing for me. Turin no doubt has all kinds of crazy going on

"12. TI [Turin Turambar / Ithillian] - Turin has the ability to drop amazing town tells in scum posts and Ithi (who I can read better) is absent. Seriously beware of Turin tricking everyone all game."

This right?

I thought it was one of the best parts of that reads post. Insightful comment that isn't smearing -- and it made me think you could be scum after all despite some of the townish vibes I had from your posting.

Why what do you want me to see?

Posted

KRAK: just the one post that he used to vote TI at EOD yesterday and then his last second switch are enough to make him wolfy.

TG/Meri: beaten into the ground.

Arsis: still a little shaken about the coffee thing. Also, the jump at TSB from page 1 felt way off.

Darthe: His stated "read" on me in his list looks weird to me. Do you know why?

I am still suspicious of you and yates and Despo. Ithi says he is likely town just wrong here so I think I will defer for now.
