picked a name out of a hat

Your posting leaves me with little idea of how much of this game you comprehend.

How much of the game have you read? How new are you to the game of mafia? I think someone asked but I didn't read.

What I don't like about this post is how you're basically saying 'I'm way better as scum than this' which is not a suitable defense imo. I've also seen town!Yates and he kicks ass pretty hard.

Both of these statements are true. Though on this site town!Yates can get pretty frustrated. Basically, I need a little help from my friends. And when people don't play nice with me I become a sad panda.

You've read 93 pages already?

Yates I would really like you to be Town, Key too, because I think you guys would be a powerhouse townie hydra.

I'm just not seeing it here. You realize that you guys basically have to die at some point because of the Wifom on your slot now, right?

You're heavily linked to two different scum flips.

Heaven forbid I not want to lynch someone who had barely contributed to the game. That goes for darthe and Len.

You are SO positive that we are scum, that you refuse to see how not wanting to lynch virtual inactives comes from a town place. I get it looks bad because of how they flipped, but maybe, just possibly, look at it for a second the other way. That we are town and trying to figure this game out too. How does lynching inactives - that hadn't even blipped on my radar - help town?

Bolded line just reads super aggro.

Key - you should've started with "I should've listened to you guys" and then I would feel better about your explanation.:wink:

Yeah, I get it. You didn't want to lynch some people because they were gone and it wouldn't provide a lot of info. It is townie to say, but scum can speak objectively to sound pro-town all the time.

Bottom line is now you're in a bad position because BOTH of the players you argued against killing yesterday have flipped scum.

Instead of just lashing out at me and concentrating on defending yourself, relax a bit to clear your head and then start doing work.

Have you ever known me to be aggro? I am not y'all, I don't need to have a 'who has the biggest' contest . It's me rolling my eyes and sighing about how I'm in such a bad spot because I couldn't toneread two people who collectively had like 20 posts, only maybe 4 of which were game related.

As for only attacking you/defending myself - why do you think I was rereading through the thread last night, even so close to DL? I was trying to figure things out. Today, I haven't really had time to be around.

Re: Bad spot. You don't have to tell me that. Again and again and again . I get it. I'm saying, try looking at it from the other side. That I AM trying to figure things out and I didn't/don't think lynching inactives helps.

Both you and Tommy, please tell me why, as scum, would I NK Hallia? It only serves to make us look bad, especially in the wake of Len's flip. Seems like a very stupid/risky move - does that seem like something Yates or I would do?

If you are so distracted by us, then lynch us. But be ready to still look for two more scum because we are not. Not meant to be a threat, just a statement.

I think I am going to save the bulk of my thoughts for when night ends but in short I find claims so far to be legit (maybe sans that bodyguard claim, but the Len flip makes that a bit cleaner barring heavy scum PR), Tommy imo is a bit muddled this game but it's Tommy who I can't really read to be fair. Des looks sincere but his arguments with Tommy, Arsis, Salami, Kates etc are a lot of conflict that's fairly unnecessary thus far in the game. I also think that Kates/Salami are off. It's a total gut thing but if I die look into them (probably as a lategame tinfoil) and in the short run trust

Des

Krak

TG

Tommy/Hally?

I agree that someone on his 'trust' list is probably scum. I haven't reread either, but going based on what darthe said above, my money is on des. 'He sounds sincere but his arguments (with half the game) are innecessary'. Looks like hedging. He's also been extremely quiet since Len lynch was proposed and even more so since Yates/me started taking the brunt of accusation.

Apologies for any errors - all unintentional but there were a lot of votes to try and sort through.

Edited to account for phase change flips.

All Votes:

Lenlo: Arsis, Csarmi, Des

Darthe: Tommy

Tommy: Krak, Des, Arsis

Des: Tommy, Hallia, Csarmi,Csarmi, Arsis, TG,Tommy, Des, Tommy, Csarmi (revote)

Hallia: Des

Darthe: AJ, Tommy, Tommy, Vos, Des, Thane

Arsis: Des (failed?), Dice, Tommy, Des, DT, TG

AJ: Arsis, Vos

Csarmi: Tommy, Des, Csarmi

Dice: Hallia

DT: DT

Lenlo: DT, Tommy, Arsis

Csarmi: Tommy

Hallia: Krak

Vos: Tommy, Arsis, Tommy, Krak, Tommy, AJ

Thane: Des

Lenlo: Tommy, Thane, TG, Tommy, Vos (failed?), Krak, Hallia, BFG, Des, AJ

Thane: Tommy

AJ: Tommy

Thane: Des, Vos

BFG: Darthe

Hallia: Kates

Krak: Tommy, Dice

Not voting: Lenlo

Looking at it this way it's interesting that the pressure on Des never really went away - or at least he had votes on him since that early spat with Tommy, same with Arsis had a vote on him pretty much throughout Day 1.

Tommy votes practically everyone: Darthe, Des, Csarmi, Darthe, Arsis, Des, Des, Csarmi, Lenlo, Vos, Darthe, Vos, Lenlo, Thane, Vos, AJ, Lenlo and Krak. Bolded are the votes that people follow him on, underlined is the start of Lenlo's final train.

Generally I find this protown. I can see why he's moving his votes and I think that the final set of votes will mean a lot with more flips and who follows whom.

Several trains developed during the day, I'm calling a train one that reaches 3 votes at the same time.

'Joke Voting'

Lenlo (3): Arsis, Csarmi, Des

These all seemed to be 'joke' votes. Arsis because of the Doctor Who Survivor thing, Csarmi because of Miley Cyrus (sp?) and Des because Lenlo isn't great as town and because of the Survivor thing. Lenlo gets upset at Des's vote, but not the others, which looks good for Des. Also interesting is that Krak told Des 'to slow the roll' presumably around the votes, Des called him mafia for it but never followed it up.

At the same time we have

Darthe (1): Tommy - an Avengers vote

Tommy (1): Krak - an Avengers vote

Things get "serious"

Des (3): Tommy, Hallia, Csarmi

Other votes at the same time

Tommy (2): Krak, Des

Lenlo (1): Arsis

Darthe (1): AJ

Arsis (2): Des, Dice

AJ (2): Arsis, Vos

Which shifts to:

Csarmi (3): Tommy, Des, Csarmi - I really don't like this self vote, as I said it seemed calculated

AJ (2): Arsis, Vos

Des (1): Hallia

Darthe (1): AJ

Tommy (1): Krak

Arsis (1): Dice

Then we move to the first +3 wagon: Csarmi unvotes himself and votes Des

Des (5): Csarmi, Arsis, TG, Tommy, Des

AJ (1): Vos

Arsis (1): Dice

Darthe (1): AJ

Dice (1): Hallia

Normally I'd be worried that Des had 2 failed wagons, as I expect mafia to push through a townie wagon, but I suspect that because these developed so early in the Day that mafia wouldn't want to risk exposing themselves.

I missed DT's self vote from my list yesterday, but it's pretty clear it's a joke and he moves to Lenlo soon after.

Lenlo then gets another train:

Lenlo (3): DT, Tommy, Arsis

Arsis (2): Dice, Des

Des (2): Csarmi, TG

Dice (1): Hallia

Darthe (1): AJ

AJ (1): Vos

Hallia (1): Krak

Darthe's the next train that develops:

Darthe (4): AJ, Tommy, Vos, Des

Des (2): Csarmi, TG

Dice (1): Hallia

Vos (1): Arsis

Hallia (1): Krak

Arsis (2): Dice, DT

(Tommy unvotes and Thane votes)

Darthe (4): AJ, Vos, Des, Thane

Vos (1): Tommy

Des (2): Csarmi, TG

Dice (1): Hallia

Hallia (1): Krak

Arsis (2): Dice, DT

Lenlo's final train starts at this stage deadline's getting closer.

Lenlo (3): Tommy, Thane, TG

Darthe (3): AJ, Vos, Des - Darthe's train is dying

Des (1): Csarmi

Vos (1): Arsis - this is about to start

Dice (1): Hallia

Hallia (1): Krak

Arsis (2): Dice, DT

Vos's is the next train to start:

Vos (4): Arsis, Krak, Tommy, AJ - of these AJ's vote is most interesting as he moves from his top suspect to his second highest, given that this is a hybrid hammer and therefore it's not necessary it seems interesting - unfortunately not sure how to interpret it AJ is obviously Town

Darthe (2): Des, Vos

Lenlo (2): Thane, TG

Des (1): Csarmi

Dice (1): Hallia

Arsis (2): Dice, DT

And then we get the final train; Tommy jumps back to Lenlo and a load of people follow...

Lenlo (8): Thane, TG, Tommy, Vos (technically a failed vote), Krak, Hallia, BFG, Des, AJ

Des (1): Csarmi

Vos (1): Arsis

Arsis (1): DT

BFG (1): Darthe

Hallia (1): Kates

Krak (2): Tommy, Dice

Not Voting (1): Lenlo

General things of interest: there's generally a good spread of voting.

Ignoring joke voting attention shifts from Des - Csarmi - Des - Darthe - Lenlo - Vos - Lenlo. Technically Arsis as well, but votes on him are spread out and never developed momentum compared to the others. The Vos wagon is counter to both Lenlo and Darthe and thus more likely to be town. Tommy was clearly driving the voting at end of day.

However town generally voted as a block, people on both Darthe and Lenlo's wagons are pretty much clear Tommy, AJ, Thane, Vos, Des. Of interest is that Krak and Arsis were on Vos but not Darthe, Krak moved to Lenlo, Arsis to Vos.

I'm not liking Kates position with regards to Vos's 'failed' vote. Given that he's defending Key being wrong on mafia partly with Lenlo flipping goon, thus probably not worth sticking your neck out for... Lenlo flipped goon and wasn't playing, I'm pretty sure that most mafia teams would sacrifice him over someone else who was playing, so a push on Vos for this reason doesn't make sense.

So at the moment I'm looking at isoing Krak/Kates/Arsis/Csarmi due to wagons and voting.

Bold- town generally voted in a block? How do you know who is town?

That's just not true. I just had some really bad news in my personal life and I was a little too emotional to play the game. I tried to push through it as to keep my word but I was just too upset so everything was getting to me and I was taking everything personally. Good luck with the game you guys are all awesome sorry for being emo about everything.

I wouldn't completely clear people because they were on both the len and darthe lynch. Imo, it matters more why they voted and when they voted. With hybrid hammer, it would be easy to vote for a teammate early in the voting 'day' because it's likely they won't be the final lynch. Especially with how much the voring changed around yesterday.

Sorry, dude. Get your head on straight. See you in the next one.

Thane. Do you think Vos is lying about being a Bodyguard then?

just checking in quickly:

There's always a possibility that people are lying. Though, if i see town having cop, deputy and doc, wouldn't a bodybguard be a bit too much? It is something to wonder.

You are assuming there is a doc, but your question does have merit.

You're bullying me. I don't have to take this.

Cory, please replace me. With yourself. Then have a meltdown. For me.

I actually read this in Archer's voice and laughed too hard!!

Hey Drunk - my hand cannon may or may not be pointed at you.

What say ye?

It appears you were right about Darthe and Len looking bad for lurking.

Who do you think they other scum are?

Anyone you feel positively is likely to be town?

Tom and myself excluded.

@Tommy: there is a games list in my siggy. I'm afraid it's not up-to-date at all. But I don't remember drawing scum since. Well, there was the Twilight game which I replaced out of very early.

My latest scum game might just be Blood Moon.

The one I'm most proud of are the Halloween game (Tor2 in my siggy) and the vacation game (I was cult leader there). The Tinker/Tailor/Soldier/Spy might be fun to read and I lasted very long (our team was decimated by good town PR play).
