not that much in favor of Voting Arsis, we'll have to see how the replacement will do. And Vos... dunno...not feeling like lynching him. I would however vote for Darthe, seeing he usually is way more talkative in games, and isn't helping town at all for the moment.

vote: Darthe

i'd also like to see a bit more from the inactives, otherwise they might just as well be lynched in order to find the wolves.

dont like this. pushing an inactive D1. yet he also didnt want to push BFG who at the time was inactive. Dont like the put arsis off for now so he can be replaced argument. if you think arsis is mafia then lynch him. why wait for a replacement that a) didnt happen the first time and b) may cloud things because we have a new body in the slot?

I like this point from dice.

I don't necessarily think Darthe's post number is relevant to his alignment or makes him a bad lynch.

IT'S WHAT HE POSTED WHEN HE DID AND HAS NOT CONTRIBUTED SINCE.

Anyway - Key I'm going to basically handle you as suspect until proven innocent because I feel like of all players this game, you'd be able to keep up that front to get you to end game. If anything, I think it kind of speaks to your ability to play well.

Your point on Krak is kinda meh. Obviously you wouldn't know how he would post in the future, but that's kind of the point. As the game progresses I look back for things like that. It goes in hand with doing wagon analysis after flips, etc.

If Darthe isn't happening he'd be my next choice.

Will consider Arsis/Thane as well - I'm out of time now and have to head off to work. I'll be off around 6 PST, which gives me about a 2 hour window before DL to move my vote if needed.

im not comfortable with the Darthe train. partly because it is D1 and pushing an inactive feels wrong and partly cause im worried the push is based on carried over feelings from avengers

I don't think so. If we were going for inactives there are several to pick from, nor do I think it's anything from Avengers (at least for my sake).

It's more the quality/content of the posts and the attitude.

Bold - I absolutely think the post number is relevant. He posted FIVE, ONLY FIVE, times at the beginning of the game with bullsh*t. Vos, what content to his posts? AJ - so his ridiculous posts at the very beginning of the game where he has little to no interaction with anyone really do it that much for you? I get that the fact that he hasn't posted since could make you annoyed, but how does that have anything to do with the game? It is speculation at best. When we have PLENTY of other information to go on from today, why choose something SO TINY to focus on? Maybe he was annoyed still at the Avengers game and getting attacked after it. Maybe he wasn't. It shows NOTHING about his alignment this game, so what does that get us if we lynch him today?

Be my guest. Thanks? lol. Though I'm pretty sure I was able to skate by in that game due to the sheer number of people/all the town PRs finding my teammates.

Re: Krak. Sure, I get what you're saying. But my point is that it can also look like reaching to make me look scummy.

Uch. In the lead with less than 6 hours to go.

I want to put up a fight, but the case on me is apparently that I'm "slimy".

Not sure what to say to that.

To borrow Tommy's words - this looks wolfy.

How about ANYTHING as to why you shouldn't get lynched? What's the point in not fighting?

First of all, I think my flip would give some useful info on who has jumped on my wagon with no reason whatsoever.

The "not fighting"-comment was just frustration. I have no idea why I moved up to first place, except that Tommy finds me "slimy". I dunno what to say to that.

I'll claim if I have to, but I would kinda prefer if we could keep outed town roles down to the Cop and the soft claims we have already.

I still need to finish reading your ISO, Vos, but you are very wishy-washy upon reread.

"I thought des and tommy were town-town, but now rereading des looks scummy"

"I was going to vote Arsis, but now he pulls this, so unvote"

When AJ questions you about your vote on him, you say, "well, none of these are scummy pulled apart, but broad view look scummy" (looks like hedging)

You agree with Thane, but then when des says something then you find him (Thane) wishywashy.

[added the number for convenience]

1. Still stand by that. As explained I just read the whole back and forth as town-town. But upon revisiting it could just as easily be ego-ego.

2. Arsis has been screaming scum, but if he actually has asked to be replaced then I think it's good mafia "etiquette" not to lynch here today.

3. If you think so. First half of day 1, I think it's fine to go by "undefined gut feel of your play has been off". If you wanna call it hedging we'll agree to disagree.

4. Changing up my views as we go along here...

(I'm giving up smoking... let me know if I get cranky)

FWIW - this has been addressed. Arsis is not replacing out. Unless I missed something in the last 20 pages or so.

I really disliked Darthe's OP and the sarcastic tone he took. He immediately opened defensively (not a scumtell in itself) but in a non-serious manner and posted some other fluff before disappearing from the thread completely. Kind of puts me on edge.

Do you think it's scummy that Darthe posted in the beginning of the game and hasn't been around since? If so, why?

As far as Darthe coming out on edge with a "sarcastic tone," I'm ascribing null value to it. He took the lion's share of blame and hate for the Town loss in Avengers. Some of that seems to have carried over. Do you disagree that this situation is likely to shape his posts regardless of alignment?

I'm out to my MNF party. Key has the controls for the rest of the day.

AJ sumary:

Strange going after Csarmi and Darthe. Gets cranky when Csarmi doesn't "play the game". FOS's Des but then goes on to protect/buddy. Votes (quite randomly?) Darthe. Tries to take the "town leader" role. Blantantly (and irritatingly) attacks Csarmi with the whole "get on my level" (pfft). Being very submissive when communicating with Tommy.

I dunno. We're like 24 hours into the game and most people haven't said more than hullo. But from the pile, this is the thickest straw

[v]AJ[/v]

I dunno about the soft claiming, really. All I know is discussing your tactic out in the open is counter productive.

Des: It's not black and white though. I mainly agree with you, however, soft claiming can be a good way for VTs to draw kills away from PRs.

So Thane's soft claim can go ahead and float around there, it can be either way, let's leave it to mafia to try and decipher it, yes?

I'm gonna go ahead and [v]Darthe[/v]. Even though he hasn't been on any of my lists. I haven't really paid any attention to him this game. Seeing his posts in succession (thnx Tommy) made it a pretty safe place to lynch today.

What changed your mind? Darthe hasn't posted anything more than when you're voting AJ in part for voting Darthe?

So Vos the basic deal is: you protect me tonight, if I die, you get lynched. Sound good?

that was the plan.

sounds good to me.

AHA! BUT WHAT IF YOU GET ROLEBLOCKED??
