TG what percent do you think Des is scum vs town? Like 60% scum? Do you not see any glimmers of town in him?

 

He was 150% scum to start, especially with how he made up with you.  After you and he got over your little spat he started towntelling.  The emotion on outted town PRs seemed real.  So...69%?

 

 

EBWOP: What bothers me most about Des is that I can't figure out his teammates except Dice.  My other top scum reads are DT and Arsis, and that team doesn't fit unless they are already turning on each other to reverse-spew.

Keep in mind this is a hybrid hammer game so we don't need majority to achieve a lynch.

 

So what?  All that does is make train analysis more difficult since you don't actually need to hit majority.

After just playing two games with him, I don't see why Arsis is subbing out as town. This isn't any different than Tommy in Avengers, imo.

Also, three days makes sense for roles bc that's how long Woodstock was.

Krak vote for Tommy out of the gate to "get rid of that wifom" is scummy. Tommy can be great scumhunter for town, so why want to get rid of him ASAP?

 

Len's nonchalance looks like town bc he usually tries at least a little to look involved as scum.

Hallia was locktown for the way she did the softclaim to backup Tommy.  I don't see them as scum/scum nor do I see that as scumplay for Hally to run a gambit like that.

 

Tommy is locktown mostly for the way he is bullying.  Rather than emotional manipulation of players and pure condescension bullying, etc, he is scumhunting and logic bullying.  His cop claim is only potentially believable because of the Hally interaction, but that adds to it.

You think Key is scum?

 

Could be. After seeing her as scum in the past ~2-3 games she was in and how convincingly she can play as a townie, I would say it's highly possible. I want to get Yates in here and see him interact a bit to get a better read on their slot.

 

I think the snap reads in the post are important (in a general sense) though, doubly so if she does turn out to be scum.

 

For instance - most seem to agree that Hallia backing Tom's claim is +town points for her. Key is unsure.

 

I also think the dig on Krak might be opportunistic seeing Krak's postings as of late.

If you want honesty you'll have to have a serious post-game talk about it.  I can try to be clear with you.  I don't really have time to go through it now, but think about my comments to you on why I found you scum that game you were scum with Nyn and Clov.  It had to do with how you were trying to emotionally manipulate.  Being emotionally manipulative in that sense basically tells people you think they aren't as intelligent as you/aren't up to your level. 

 

I don't think you're doing that this game, but you are still rough with people anytime they make a mistake (logic, whatever, etc) and you catch it.  Even if it isn't a legit mistake they made and you are just trying to push them on something, the tone you use is that of somebody who is looking down from above rather than engaging a peer.

 

My very brief take on it, but let's have this discussion post game.

I was legit confused about that. I thought it was something I missed and took it completely out of context because you presented it completely out of context and I wasn't paying close attention.

 

To be clear, the point isn't whether you agreed about that or not. The point I'm making is that lately you seem to be glomming on to thoughts from Tommy and myself. Anytime somebody buddies up to me (via whatever method) it concerns me.

I just kept waiting for him to finish his catch up and engage real time.  He only did that for like, 3 posts.  His questioning of Vos seemed pretty on point to me.

I'm gonna be contrary and say he's null atm. Maybe leaning town. Him actually being present and giving some thoughts I would consider a good thing. I don't think I've ever seen Krak scum though.

 

I think his vote out the gate on you wasn't necessarily good, but meh.

 

I'm a bit concerned with his focus on Des and his questions surrounding other people's read on him. But given that Des is a major talking point this game, I could see him just trying to gauge their logic behind the read to see if it was genuine.

 

He calls Hallia town early on but later quotes and questions here about voting Dice and expressing willingness to swap to DT, which he later follows up with by voting her. I don't necessarily agree with this here but I can see where it comes from.

Him buddying concerns me, either on me or you, along with all the other points. 

 

On the flip side, you and he voting put enough pressure on to draw a few peeps out for a post or two, and getting anything out of the inactives is +EV.  You voting alone prolly wouldn't have had the same affect.
