Oh thanks for that enlightening info.  I'm sure if that was the case, I would make sure to pass on my crucial information to the scum to kill cleared townies.  /sarcasm

This is SO outside of your normal play...

I agree, it reads like Rand, Wombat and Nolder have been in damage control mode tonight.

The moment people started talking about confirming roles, the woodwork exploded...

Nolder when people make semi-verifiable and intimately tying claims like I am by offering to cop hammer Darthe you don't immediately go "wow maybe he's pulling the long con!" you go "okay, this will get resolved by night actions somehow or we will get really suspicious in 3-5 days."

This is BASIC.

Can you at least address my point on how your role would be a thousand times more useful in a CC or Lylo/Mylo situation?
It probably would be, but I very very very rarely make it far that as town. This is a large game. Odds of me making it to must lynch are 0.1%.

See your point, but you can also wait for a CC situation. But more importantly, now that Darthe has almost cleared himself with the claim of a character who has been in multiple Mynd scenes, is it worth missing the first lynch in which we get tons of information to clear someone who most people think is now town?

Just answer me one question and remember there are consequences to lying to a god. Are you scum? Yes or no answer please.

Who the hell is gonna claim cop-governor-priest? This is a role Mynd made up. I have no idea what you're talking about but you'd better quit it or I'm vigging you tonight, full stop.

Scum doesn't need a damage control mode, they need a continue damage to the town mode as they prod on more and more people to reveal as subtly as they can.

Like Nolder and Wombat both encouraging my mason to hard claim?

No, I am not scum, nor any third party role that might be construed as scum.  I am a Hero, and aligned with Town.  LD me or whatever you want.

I believe you are cop-governor-priest and I believe you're town.  I just believe that you shouldn't use your role right now in the best interest of town.  Stop looking at just today and look at the long term.  If we miss a lynch today and mafia kills, and all we get from it is one cleared townie that is not worth it.  Think of it this way.

If during a night there was a cop that got an inno, yet an innocent, probably a strong power role died, would you account that as good?  Because that's what your role does.  It is only to be used in emergency situations, not situations like these.

Rand: we don't HAVE TO use my hammer today. But I offered because I feared Darthe was town and wanted to see how he and others would react to the offer.

I think it generated a shit-ton of alignment indicative responses. Good enough.

Yup, and I did post that about Nolder, may have missed it on Wombat.  But In Nolder's case, other actions have been more townie than this has been scummy.

Is Psychic a role I don't know about?

Lol, exactly Tsuki.

What Rand just said about CCing makes me think if he's scum, there's a mimic or role cop type of role.

I pointed out some of the situations where your role would be better used.  Please look at the previous analogy and show me why your role should be used today.

It's been a while since I've had that "town is finally mindmelding" moment that makes villaging fun. Arsis, Tsuki and Darthe are strong townies to me now. We saved Darthe from getting mislynched. That's mission accomplished to me.

K that's all I wanted to hear, but one last thing.

You did get some good responses, but you also incited a mass claim that gave scum a much better perspective on town roles and gave scum a better opportunity to show their own role claims and plan their votes and steps in the game.  Overall, negative effect.  May not originally be your fault, but thats what happened.

At the cost of the role revealing of multiple townies.  There were other more scumhunting-related ways to save Darthe that didn't involve a half mass claim.

If a doc protects me and claims and I protect them we can likely carry one another to endgame.  If I place my votes correctly each day then I can both cover myself and the doc and they can cover someone else seemingly indefinitely since a nexus takes precedence over an RB.

Don't think it's a problem. Better that scum can night kill us for being consensus clear townies than some of us mislynch each other.

Now then: who wants to dig up the random Tsuki wagon from 2 days ago?

Posted

Jesus Christ Tsuki.

I am Town.

I am a Hero.

I am aligned with town.

I win with town.

I am not scum.

I am not anti-town.

I am not third party.

My win condition is to eliminate threats to Heroes or something like that.

Don't do this yet. Strongman kill is likely.

Great. Who cares. I got the job done. I'm tired. Darthe had given up. Now we have a new lease on life.
