Most likely, to least likely pairings the way I see it -

 

Notbob/Mynd

Notbob/Tommy

Mynd/Tommy

Notbob/Rand

 

I'm still about 90% on Rand being town so that last one would be an incredible stretch for me.  I'm just starting tinfoil a bit based on this post.

 

 

Clov and Mynd have a 2/3 chance of being scum.  Tommy and NB have a 1/3 chance of being scum.

 

Between Clov and Mynd, Mynd has played scummier, so I advocate for Clov again.

 

If Clov is mafia, 50/50 for Mynd or NotBob.

 

So in this new list my probability logic/scumhunting gives me from scum to town

My gut and pure scumhunting list goes

That bold statement doesn't make any goddamn sense to me from a town perspective.  Unless I'm somehow misinterpreting it, Rand is saying that Mynd's play makes him more likely to be mafia...so he's going to vote elsewhere.  That just so happens to be probably the most likely lynch candidate...outside of Notbob, who is now his strongest townread, out of his POE.  And I'm not sure how he came to that conclusion.

You're taking Clov out? One thing I'd like to mention here is that often when people keep talking and talking you find scummy things and go for them as scum. Sometimes the opposite happens with towntells. Don't start switching out on Clov just because he hasn't posted yet. I feel pretty good about Clov mafia.

 

Mynd, like I said, its less you doing scummy things (but the top of my list would be that weird symp post (felt awkward) and some things from yesterday (game yesterday not RL yesterday) that I can't remember on the top of my head but I think I mentioned there). Its more people rising above you in terms of towntells, and definitely more of my scumhunting/logic mix.

 

I agree though, this is ending an excellent and thrilling game.

Agree that Clov needs to contribute...just...of the two who hammered DT...Tommy more likely scum.

Because this is, for all intents and purposes, the end of the game and I'd like to make the right decision.  We have one player who is completely clear, and one player that I won't lynch today, leaving me with three suspects.  Two of them are scum.  I would love to be able to move you into the same category, but you make those posts every now and again that make me think you're just pulling the wool over our eyes.

 

If this was D1, I'd just say #YOLO and worry about it later.  But there is no later.

I know it's not darthe and most likely not rand.  pretty sure on Mynd...I watched TG successfully defend himself and noted that at the time.  When he started today with an echo from my case yesterday I became convinced it's him and he was using that to get me to vote quickly.  I mean I've been calling you scum since the start why would i hesitate now.

 

Hence, I'll vote with Darthe today.  Hopefully, he chooses wisely.  Then we see what's what tomorrow.

This may seem really small, but as mafia I generally don't comment on people's townreads of me, I kind of just stay away from it so that it doesn't ever change.  Sometimes do this as town, but definitely as mafia.  So I guess with a combination of my three possibilities.

NB, from my POV, your self preservation attempts are too little too late. You've had all game to solve. When prompted, you refused and defaulted to trolling me. Repeatedly. Now you're the only person calling me scum. You opting to not attempt non-troll posting until the last 10% of the game, and with dubious reasoning that often flows with thread consensus or just doesn't make any sense at all, is difficult to buy.

Actually I'm starting to agree with Tommy here.  Mynd and Clov most likely at this point.  I'll wait for Darthe.  Although I'm not sure you can convince him I'm not scum.

 

Quotes cut down for brevity, but that was a fast switch lol.  This I think is one of your worst posts.  Near the end game, mafia becomes very malleable to changing their reads as long as they can get a lynch secured on a townie.  The fact that you switch from Tommy to Mynd secures this idea.  If you are scum, so is Clov.

 

So if NotBob is scum, so is Clov.

 

If Clov isn't scum, Tommy and Mynd are.

 

If Clov is scum, Tommy isn't.

 

If Tommy is scum, Clov isn't, NotBob isn't (frustration between the two), so that means Mynd is.

Walk me through this analysis.  I don't understand why you think my top two lynches for the day are the two people I'm most likely to be partnered with.  What interactions in the game make you think we're likely teammates?

 

I made this list not off who would be likely to be scum, but by cancelling out teams that I thought couldn't occur.  Basically I just said you couldn't be scum with Tommy because the double x-post vote ninja hammer was too unlikely to be planned by you guys.

lack of committment to one player, giving reads often where he says bad, but also kinda good, so kinda in the middle.  Mynd ran after TG a lot, which makes me think he's more town.  So therefore Mynd > Clov for town.

I disagree with this Darthe.  I don't think scum would have gone out and put themselves on the train just by saying i was following cop.  You've already set traps before in this game for scum.  I feel like scum should be playing it very wary at this point.  Not saying that they won't give their opinions, but in terms of votes and things that might seem like traps, they're probably going to wait.
