I've been reading Red as town the entire game, but I think I have to change my mind here. She did look like she was defending Lenlo. And that did look like a scumslip to me.

If she flips town, Despo is almost definitely scum. If she flips scum, Despo is definitely town because his reads on Red did NOT seem like distancing.

No its been pointed out that you ignored Mynds post (ie: skimmed over it apparently) and instead of taking the new info on thread you doubled down on me to try and keep on your meta to salvage your town ced.

 

 

 

 

If Mynd is to be trusted, then my vote would def go to Wombat. Him apparently giving Red a gift, then coming out and defending Red from my awesome case on her, reeks of buddying.

 

It COULD be possible that Red is just #FullRed this game, and not only amazingly wrong but also scumslipping left and right... as a townie. Not completely outside the realm of Red.

 

Something that makes me feel stronger that this could be a possibility is Dawn's WTF switch from me to Red, then saying that if Red is town I'm definite scum. She seems to be an absolute eager beaver to set me up for a lynch with a townflip on someone else.

 

Red, I declare a truce. I think its' possible you've been played by Wombat, and just had a bad game otherwise. I AM town btw, so if you are as well let's go ahead and catch actual scum, kk?

Also ready to lock in Dawn as scum with Wombat (if Mynd is telling the truth, and I'm generally inclined to believe he is atm, then Wombat is def my pick for scum out of that group- I too agree that Len casing Dap before getting silenced likely wasn't distancing but Len trying to look active by going after Dap)

 

Already felt Wombat looked sketchy this game, for similar reasons as others have mentioned. I found his antagonistic prods towards Tommy yesterday to be more in line with scum!Wombat than town!Wombat. I also felt his vote switches were somewhat opportunistic, seemed he was parking his vote on me till it looked like I wouldn't be lynched, then switched to Tommy. Then there's the mini-spat he had with Cory early game. He also seems to have sniped a lot more this game rather than actually get his hands dirty. He's constantly making some kind of point, only to clarify that he isn't defending someone or attacking someone (like when he said scum often set up competing trains between townies, but oh wait he's not necessarily saying that Red is scum or that Tommy is town........ yeah)

 

As for others, Tsuki is also a pretty high scum read of mine. His lack of WIM and overall "meh" attitude doesn't align with his town meta at all, he normally doesn't give a flip if people suspect him or w/e.

 

Town reads on Vos, Dap, Pray, Nyn, Mynd, RTE perhaps (wasn't he the one that pointed out that Wombat shouldn't have known what item it was? Or was that Vos? Regardless, my scum read of RTE went way down after Tommy's flip, and he didn't seize the opportunity to use this against me like he could have as scum). Also kinda feel Clov is being reasonable this game, but not ready to give him a strong town lean yet.

I'm tired of people saying/implying this.  There's (presumably) a 1/9 chance the item was a Shrivelling spell.  The answer "yes" is a perfectly valid response to Mynd's question given the information I was given.

 

 

Yes implies a certain confidence level about the gift.  It seems out of place for a 1/9 chance to make such a positive assertion.  An "I dunno" or "maybe" or something else would have been more in line.

 

If you and Red were both town, you could have been honest and said that you, as a gifter, don't know what the gift was.

tbh i've been following along since late on Friday but have been unsure on how to respond.

 

the atmosphere of this game is poisonous, not even sure at this point if i want to be associated with this game given what happened to Tommy.

 

 

it was utterly disgusting to see and read all of that. not saying that Tommy wasn't low blowing, all sides of this ruined my WIM in this game.

 

 

that said, Darthe, Despo, and Wombat to a smaller point, should be ashamed of themselves. seriously i'd expect that type of behavior form a group of 13 year old hormone ridden insecure mean girls, but not from grown men that should know better than to act like that. theres one thing to taunt someone you think is scum, and another to take it far over the line like has happened in this game.

 

 

maybe in a day or two the atmosphere of this game will turn around, but right now i'm just not feeling it tbh.

5.  The "defense" of Red was actually a clarification of my original stance.

Where I'm at atm. Think my LOCK CLEARS look pretty good, and feel purdy good bout my scum group as well. To pontificate on the middle group:

 

RTE prob could be LOCK CLEAR if it wasn't for his early reveal yesterday. His recent posts don't look as bad however. But since I think it was Vos who pointed out that thing I gave RTE town cred for, I can't really put RTE firmly in my town group yet. Red seems like she's getting played by Wombat, but the WIFOM here is that it could be scum!Red trying to be out in the open and defend scummate Wombat out of pure wifom. She even pulled the "I wouldn't do that as scum" card. And Hallia... she replaced Zero, who had zero posts, and yet I feel like that slot still hasn't said anything. Wonk wonk.

 

I'm treating this reads list as pre-death WIFOM btw.  Something that should be noted is that Des often looks at reads lists of flipped scum to find the other scum.  He says that scum often put their teammates in the middle of a group.  He has also told me before that he avoids doing this as scum.  WIFOM comes into this a bit, but I don't think he would expect me to have remembered that.  If you do lynch me, keep that in mind, but don't base much of anything off of it.  Do the old-fashioned legwork.

As you can see, the only player he changed the order with other than moving the player to another group was RTE.  This only further convinces me that Despo's reads list is fake.  It also convinces me that the movement of RTE was deliberate.  Had RTE been left in order, the purple group would have read Red, Hallia, RTE.  This could have been done either to move Hallia out of the middle, move Red into the middle, or move RTE up to the top.  Any of these moves could have been made for a number of WIFOMy reasons, so I'm not going to speculate further at this early point.

 

 

 

The main thing to take away from this is that Despo's reads list is almost certainly faked and designed not to lead back to his scummates.

I've thought you were scum for some time but I also said I thought you and RTE were likely both town after the N1 flip.... right now, I think you're either with Womby and scum, or he's playing you.  Changing one's mynd is not a scumtel.  The two of you were going at it all day and night long, then suddenly he GIFTS you?  You don't find that odd?
