Krak is an excellent train but i am satisfied with mynd for now im sure me and cloud would be willing to move to consolidate if needed. after that turn of events this game is practically figured out.  

 

I actually have a town read on Krak. I'm a fan of his never ending catch-up posts and him thinking that Nolder was still alive seemed like a genuine mistake to me.

Yeah I hate just jumping in and running (but when i checked the game when i woke up i saw darthe was missing me so I thought I'd give him a little shout out *waves* hi darthe), I have to get the kiddos to school in five mins then drive to my school, so I can't stay. I've brought my laptop to see you all at lunch again.

I just did a couple of quick ISO's on Tina, Hallia/Leelou and Jack_D. 

 

Tina started out looking very agreeable to me and I noticed that she was always just going with the flow which isn't something that I'm used to seeing her do. The things that have stood out to most to me from her play have been her finding Mish scummy because of her first post and actually finding her and Tress more townie afterwards. I have read them the other way around before they claimed being a VT and wanted to self-vote. Her finding Red more scummy because she proposed to have a bet with Tommy is a bogus reason to find someone scummy because it shouldn't say anything about her allignment. I have to admit that her play has improved ever since she got more time to play and her list of reads looked solid but then she was started pushing for Lenlo saying that he hasn't done much in this game which isn't true at all. I'm leaning scum on her.

 

I couldn't find anything scummy about Leelou's play and I would have said that she is town if it wasn't for Hallia. Hallia was pushing for Dawn a few times at the start of the game while ignoring everyone else. It looked to me like she was just going after the low hanging fruit. I have noticed that both of them have been fairly quiet lately; Leelou has been sick and Hallia I believe went to Disneyland so I'm looking forward to hearing more from them. I'm leaning town on them for the moment.

 

Jack_D... Him linking Red and AJ together remains one of the scummiest and non-logical things that I have seen this game. His catch-up posts , unlike the ones from Krak and Lenlo, seems fabricated to me and a lot of his reads on people are based on nonsensical things. He has been pushing for Mistress lynch a lot who flipped town and afterwards he called Mynd scum because he said they were town after their VT claim. I don't like this reasoning at all because it should have been obvious to anyone who payed attention that they were town near the end of Day 1 and I was pretty vocal about it as well and yet he hasn't said anything about me. I think he and Mynd are scumbuddies and he has realized that he could better start bussing him ASAP because he was bound to go down sooner or later.

Hallia and Leelou: DesBat is gone and in my list of people who are dependable and intelligent townies I am going to need your assistance in particular on metas and this large playerbase of players I am not familiar with. I saw Hallia said she was catching up, and Leelou was going to post where she's at some point today. I think I remember reading that you were sick, Leelou, so feel better and wub and all that but when you can throw me a bone 

 

Red: for whenever you get on, it's time to start making a real effort to find people you believe are town. You bit off more than you can chew Day 1, but you've lived to see another day and it's never too late to start over.

 

My eye has been really sore all day - woke up with a bad eye/sinus infection. I've had trouble really focusing on reading, but have been trying to keep up with the thread. I'll try to post first thing in the morning if Hallia doesn't swing by tonight.

They were the ones I wanted to have a closer look at. I have you and AJ, Yates and Tommy as top tier cleared townies followed by Lenlo, Krak, X, Nyn and now Leelou/Hallia who I now all think are town as well. I have null reads on Dawn, Dice and Zen and I want to hear more from them. Mynd and Jack are the scummiest players in the game followed by Verbalina. I would also put Red together with Mynd and Jack but her roleclaim can now be tested with the help of Yates so I will leave her be for the moment.

Once again is SUPER sensitive about her perception and is trying to get rationale for a vote on her.
 
This is too late in the game for her to not try and handle someone being aggressive with her, but she's being deliberate in not trying to make an enemy in AJ.
 

I'm just not sure who I think is scum. Nobody has said anything that seems particularly scummy to me. I will admit that my last vote was just a bandwagon vote and I had no reason for voting her besides me wanting to get rid of my joke vote on Red (who I don't find scummy at all)
 
And I'm confused about all the random, non-game related meme stuff getting mixed up with what's important. It makes it difficult for me to figure out what is actually important and what is just silliness. Even a lot of things that look serious end up turning into some sort of joke.

What do you think of Tommy this game? He's tried to interact with you several times and has been rebuffed.

What do you think of Hallia this game? I specifically remember her calling you out early in the game and you never replying to her.

 

1. I know you think I'm Mafia. You are wrong. I have a slight town lean on you two, but am not completely sure.

2. I'm 90% sure Tommy is town. He's playing completely differently from the last game we were in, where he was scum, and has not said anything notably scummy.

3. I don't think Hallia has said much about me, or has posted much at all. I might be wrong and just wasn't paying attention. The only thing I know about her is that she thinks I'm scum. She doesn't seem scummy to me at this point but I'll look at more of her posts.

A few more questions:

You voted Mish near EOD for pure consolidation purposes and to "get your vote off Red".

 

For someone who was lost in the thread, why did you feel it was important for you to join the Day's leading wagon?

 

Did you feel you were capable of making an informed decision on who was scum for that day?

Did you believe Mish would flip Mafia?

1. Yeah, that's pretty much why. A stupid reason, I know.

2. I'm not sure. I just didn't want to vote Red, and if I didn't vote for Mish it would look like a completely random vote since I had no real reads at the time.

Null atm. Like ive paid attention to his posts and some are towny some are scummy and it leaves me undecided or null.

 

Can you please find a good example of what you believe is a towny and a scummy post by Nolder so far this game? Multiples would be better.

Mish is dead-on here. Cloud has a particularly terrible EOD where he refuses to vote Mish when votes start coming in.

 

I would rather lynch Red since I have a scum read on her. I´m not sure where I stand on Mistress but I´m leaning town. The most scummy about them was the first post by Mish, who then kind of handed it over to Tress. But since then I think they have looked town. Not that it has anything to do with alignment but I know that Mish is like me, when we are sick we can´t play very well and she (like I) would never lie about rl. 

 

A few thoughts other thoughts:

 

Without saying too much why (because I´m in a hurry) I´m suspicious of Nolder and Mynd. I don´t like Nolder´s play. I get what he is saying about games with many players. I tend to sign up for smaller games nowdays myself. But I don´t see how that has anything to do with his play. As Des/AJ said, first he follows their vote and then he argues with them. It´s also something about his game that is weird. I really can´t put a finger on it but it seems like he is playing another game than the rest of us. Ehm... I really can´t explain it better right now. 

 

I don´t like Mynd´s fencesitting on Red. I find it odd that Red would claim a town character while being another town character. If that was the case I think she would have waited with her reveal. I also don´t like the hydra hunt. 

 

This is a better version of a gross post. It's not a great stance to have, but at least I can follow this somewhat.

 

Feeling pretty weird about all this last second maneuvering.  Right now Mishtress and Red are tied.  Nolder switched trains abruptly and couched it in meta.  Weird vote by Zanube.

Yates/Red (Provided their claims are proven) - I am more likely to believe Yates. He hasn't been countered and this is the kind of play I'd expect from him. Red, despite her play, I'm giving her the benefit of doubt providing her role is vetted soon. If not, I will revisit her. 

Crayjay - Posting very protown, looking at all the angles. I agree with most of what they and Tom are saying

Tommy - Much like Crayjay, posting protown. Not afraid to look at different people

 

Scum reads:

Mynd - he has a fixation with only looking at a small pool of players that have shown both town and scum tendencies (more town than scum btw). He seems to be satisfied with ignoring the individual players and is fear mongering that the hydras are more of a danger. He does not seem willing to admit that the hydras that are town are more beneficial for town since they are basically a one role mason team. 

Krak - Not liking his catch up posts. Also forgetting Nol is dead seems like a scum slip since he could remember that Desbat were dead, yet they were written in black with no info under Nolder, who was in blue with his name and role. 

Megaloud - lots of inconsistencies in their play. Amega came off very defensive when Cory was trying to engage him a few pages back. Also his going after Tommy for something from very early in the game looked like he was trying to distance from the current lynch trains. Cloud almost felt like hardcore buddying with Mish near the end and his vote on Red seemed like he was trying some damage control from Amega. Cloud is more zen of the bunch, but I'm not getting the best of feelings from him. 

Dawn - Has not produced any reads, very self conscious and a bit defensive of how she is viewed in the game *just reading her new post now* Now she thinks Tommy is town? That's a complete 180. Looks like she's trying to go with the flow a bit too much. Not sticking her neck out and not trying to get dirty. Didn't like her switch to MishTress last min and couldn't entertain a lynch on Mynd. Not really liking any of her reasons for voting this game. 

Jack - I'm used to Jack being a bit more out there, this game he seems like he's been in a habitual catch up. He's the lowest on my scum list and could easily be switched out with some of the Null list. I'm actually waiting to see what his theories are today.

Nyankat - Nyn's posts seem genuine, I almost have her in my town list, but she's not quite there yet. We want to wait and see what Kath has to present to the game. 

Verbalina - It's day 2. I'll be able to get a better feel for Verbal today. I wish Tina was a bit more inquisitive. They are close to scum. 

Dice - He's been quiet and tends to lay low as scum. I didn't get any reassuring feelings from his unvote in the middle of night phase. 

Zanube - extremely absent. She really needs to step it up for me to put her anywhere near my town pile, she is pretty high close to scum for me. Her last min vote on MishTress seemed very much like she was told to come on and vote and to pick anything to make it seem like it wasn't just a bandwagon vote. It was weird that she picked a post from Tress that she agreed with and then voted them.
