Can you also tell me why you're pitching a tent in camp Des? I'm not intimately familiar with his scum game, but I would guess this is it. To throw his own sand back in his eyes, he should be able to read me correctly as well.

First a question for you: So far it has seemed like you entered the game with one question - is it Darthe or Des? Then you choose to trust Darthe and not Des. Is that correct? Because I feel that you choose to focus on just a few persons and forgetting everyone else. Except for your focus on Darthe/Des you have only commented on the Lenlo thing wich have been in focus since his claim.

 

Lenlo has gone after me since the beginning of day 1. He has not been interested in anyone else. Even when he said Darthe was scummy and later voted him, he said he would rather lynch me. The only reason he mentioned Darthe at all was because Des asked him what he thought about him. Then he didn´t mention him again until his weird vote. So yes, I believe he is mafia.

 

Because he gives out free brownies? I often agree with Des and I can follow his thoughts.

I'm not polarized to believing one or the other HAS TO be scum because I've watched Des and Darthe argue in basically every game. I just expect it. I intentionally ignored their spar at first for that reason and asked people for information on other players. As I talked with Darthe and Dawn, I read them both as town, but never thought to myself "okay, if Darthe is town, Des must be mafia," because that's incredibly level one. As for overlooking other players -- I haven't interacted with them yet, and I can't really make any sort of call on them without seeing them in action. I'll make a complete list of reads once I'm caught up. I think that's reasonable.

 

But like I said when I came into this game, there's something about the way Des is framing his posts and arguments that reads as insincere to me. I put it aside in favor of Lenlo, because his vote on Darthe was incredibly poorly phrased and reasoned, and then his claim was worthless and even scummy. But when I came back Darthe was saying to lynch one if Des or you, and Des was already on my radar, and I wasn't about to lynch you before I've interacted with you and while Lenlo, a shady figure, has been pushing for your lynch.

 

I recognize my own suspicions of Des are vague, but I would appreciate it if you have more background on what Des has said that you agree with so I can verify that thought process when I do read everything.

So from where I sit, the three players (Darthe, Pral, Dawn) I read as town almost certainly are, and everyone else is on the table until I'm caught up. Lately I've just been winging it but I promised Darthe I would read, so I will try to do it tonight. The management apologies for any inconvenience.

Des' bit about getting it after a certain person dies makes me feel better about it but not 100% and that is simply because i have learned to never trust Des totally

I´m not sure that I believe in Lenlo´s claim at all. As someone said, it could work as a role cop and are kind of overpowered. Let´s say that there was a town oracle - by asking 1. Is there a GF? 2. Is there a mafia rb? 3. Is there another mafia pr? you would get so much information at once. I don´t understand why he would ask about vanillas at all. I think he is just making it up. 

 

I agree with Des (suprice!), I have a bad feeling about Tommy. Darthe said that Tommy´s posts beats Pral´s but I don´t agree. I get town feelings from Pral´s posts but not from Tommy´s. 

 

Would like to hear more from Verbal. A quiet Verbal makes me nerveous. 

 

Dice´s OMGUS vote doesn´t look good. He and Lenlo are still my top suspects.

I was leaning town on him before, but I'm pretty confident on him now.  I noted Lenlo as town, and then switched that and called him scum -- Des was reading the thread and looking for scum.  I don't think scum-Des finds that contradiction.  It helps solidify my town lean on him.

But yes, it wouldnt be a problem. Youre a weak enough point of contention that the bigger people can see sone merit in voting you today and youre already halfway there should I choose. I've given reads on about half the game - the rest would be null.  I was struggling to keep up before (my apologies to everyone for that) due to being super busy recently, but it is clearing up enough for me to resume normal BAMF level.  Also, when people have to ask for a read on themselves, it makes me nervous.  More so that Des thinks you are scum, and I'm feeling good about Des.  I'm not foolish enough to trust that completely, but combined with your request......color me concerned.

1.  Tommy thinks Des is town (with a slight suspicion), and you town.

2.  Des thinks Tommy scum, and you town.

3.  You think Tommy is town, and Des is town (with a slight suspicion).

4.  I think both of you are currently town, and suspicious of Tommy.

 

No two of us agree the same person is scum, but all of us agree on some as town.

 

Perhaps have Des shoot tonight and we discuss more tomorrow based on the flip we get.  For now, I think Tina is a valid lynch based on my previous thoughts around her tunneling, or lack thereof.

1. You not only should be able to read me better, but when you first entered the thread you started buying that I could be scum instantly from Darthe and then later backed this up with supervague and ambiguous suspicion against me.

This is another way I know you're scum- tone is all off. Trying to make it out like I'm either playing bad or definite scum. Puhlease. I'm MVP so far of this game. Not being dumb, just not gonna let you skate by with a bs vote on me. As for Clov's vote on me, what do I care if he's voting me? He's illustrating his towniness and trying to #solve the game it looks like. The fact that he can't read me apparently is secondary.

I don't think he could be mafia with Len, Tina, yourself or Verb and he isn't with me because I am town.  That really decreases his odds of being scum.  

He had a really good, really logical WoT which is hard to fake consistently and Des claimed a role he had little incentive to claim and that is nearly impossible to fake.  Now if he is mafia he is essentially trapped unless his whole team plays a perfect game.

Last, he backed off on me when he didn't have to.  One of my favorite things is arguing myself into the upper hand and seeing how people react.  I did it with Cory and he reacted town so I kept pushing it to solidify my reads.  I did it with Des and he has reacted how I've learned a town des reacts.  Mafia Des should have tried to fight his way back up but here it is more important to him that he find scum than play into his usual "gotta beat Darthe" mentality, even when I hung it out on a string before him.  That either shows some really developed play on his part or a town mentality.

All of the above together is too consistent to be an easy scum fake and I doubt he could have held it together this long so Des=town atm.

We;; this was an odd post.  Dawn and Len are voting me and I think them town.  Clov has thought Des mafia all game but he has been internally consistent.
