Alright so I dont want to waste time and I also dont want this info to die with me should I get lynched so im just gonna reveal now. I am Town Oracle. I can ask 3 Y/N questions about the setup before roles were handed out each night. These are the 3 I asked last night along with their answers.

 

1) Are there any third party in this game? No

2) Are there any Vanilla town in this game? Yes

3) Is there a Symp in the game? No

 

I can explain the reasoning behind each one if you want, but I think they are pretty obvious. Atleast now that its out in the open I can ask for advice for what to ask tonight should I live, as I have been trying to figure out what questions would be good myself.

I can ask 3 Y/N questions that pertain to the setup before roles were handed out. Meaning I cant ask things such as "Is Tina Scum?" "Is Des Town?". I cant ask about players as roles were given to players after the setup was finalized. I can only ask questions such as "How many scum are there?" "Is there a tracker in the game?" "Are there Symps in the game?". 

 

So again I can only ask questions about the setup before roles were handed out.

The day didn´t go as planned but now I´m here and ready to re-read the thread. I read the first ten pages yesterday. I guess it will take me a few hours to read through the thread. But before that I will try to explain my D1 actions to Lenlo again.

 

Nothing happened, we had a lot of people with one votes. I wanted to get the game started so I picked someone that usually talks alot - Jack. He questioned my vote and voted me, which didn´t mean much. After all, I wanted him to react. Then Des jumped on Jack as well. He had some contradictions while going after Jack but I thought he was trying to start the game as well. Keeping my eyes on him but guessed he was town. Darthe is used to Des playstyle but still was suspicous of Des, which I just noted. I chose to vote Csarmi since he only threw out a question and then disappeared. (Now we know that was because of rl reasons.) Now Jack just tunnelled on me so I ended up voting him again. I got town feelings from Des and Cory since I agreed with a lot of what they said. 

 

 

Before I start my re-read - what are the claims so far?

 

Des - vig

Lenlo - oracle

Darthe - vote-blocker? and something else? Can someone tell me where he claimed?

an oracle that can ask three questions a night is really OP.

 

If you can ask about things before roles were assigned that means you can act as a de facto role cop.  

 

Did this setup implement a town vote thief?

Did this setup implement a town vig that gained power once bella/edward was dead?

 

etc.  Now I have to game the setup to figure out this really odd claim and I dislike that.  Your role either has arbitrary limits that make it unprovable to us or you're making it up and the mod can't comment without affecting the thread.  That's a tough spot for town.

His ability doesn't seem particularly useful to town but it's completely unconfirmable. We can suggest questions to him but if he's scum he just lies to their advantage and we never know what the truth was or if he even asked that question. Lame.

 

I still think his response/vote on you was fake so I'm staying. The claim is worthless.

Earlier his fighting with Des was meh. They both made good points, coulda gone either way. Then suddenly he throws out a very weird taunt and threat to Des, that he has his vote and that Des should hope his gun doesn't turn/shoot him or something like that. It didn't read well no matter how I read it, pinged a lot and all around just changed my perception of everything he'd done so far in the game.

 

Not a real case, mostly gut and bad feelings, but it's what broke the camels back.

Lenlo's claim doesn't seem right.  Lenlo, why do you keep saying "before roles are handed out" if you can do this each night?  Why not say "each night" instead?  You're intentionally making this confusing.

Okay, now I'll explain what I see. I've hosted a handful of games that Darthe has played in as scum and I've also played with him in both roles. I feel like I can tone read him correctly after a handful of posts. In the last game I correctly scumread him but then leveled myself out of it because other people seemed worse. His scum game usually involves a fair deal of feigned "I don't care" bravado. He's like a duck, with watery accusations rolling off his back. He doesn't say more than he has to and it's to his advantage to let the town rot in complacency rather than stir the pot.

 

Here I see stirring. I see curiosity and frustrating. I think if he was scum he would just lol-clear be for a dumb reason like I'm

Town because I don't bother reading the thread. Instead, he's try g to engage me and force me to get serious. He's asking follow up questions in the right spots, like asking why you're reasoning with him while your vote us on him. He's trying to figure out your role rather than just bury you like he could if he was mafia and you were town with this laughable unverifiable claim.

 

I'm sure he's capable of emulating this performance in bursts but not all the time. He's been "on" since I entered the thread. That's good enough for me until we're at a must lynch situation.

Stuck on whether it is town on town violence with you and Des.....or if one of you is scum.  Not both.

 

This has clouded some of the D1 stuff, tbh.  I was ready to align with Des against you, but I've stepped back based on the consistency of your posting.  I'm trying to imagine how you'd handle this as scum, and go from there.
