Manipulated? We gave him our thoughts on who was scummy and since no one else was around to tell him theres and he hadnt bothered to read the thread up to that point, he has nothing else to go on. Its also not like he voted anyone he still wants your and Tina's response's. Dont like how your just dismissing it all like that either.

 

Posts like these reaffirms my D1 scum read of Lenlo. Just like the point I made in my earlier post, he seems to be adding fuel by playing both sides of the game. Linking Des/Tina, talking about how Des is "scummy" while talking to Tommy, eventually voting Darthe out of nowhere and all the while looking as if he is just focusing on Tina. None of this looks like a pro-town play for me.

 

 

 

Btw, I'm a Vig. If y'all would rather I settle this spat between Darthe and I myself instead of lynching him, trust me- I'd be MORE than happy to oblige.

I say go for it. You got someone you think is scum, then shoot him. Its what a town vig should do. You coming out and saying it though with no prodding or risk of being lynched worries me. Its an out of the blue role claim.

 

Vigs also arnt a scum only role.

 

Don't like this post at all. Clearly trying to manipulate Des into shooting Darthe. Based on my read of Des-Darthe as town on town, this is exactly what the scum wants to happen. 

 

Overall, I think Len is just feeding off the Des-Darthe fight and trying to manipulate the town to mislynch or mis-kill one of them.

@Dice and Laya for the quote dice just responded to... That reads like "This looks really town but Darthe is good enough at mafia that it may be counterpsych".  If you have to WIFOM my play to make it fit "scummy" what does that say about me?

 

I'm pointing out illogical play left and right and will continue to regardless of how Des attempts to destroy my character (credibility) in the game.  

 

Well, yeah. I still don't find the NK logical in case you are scum. Des argument that you were meant to kill her anyway and were FoSing her is not very convincing. The more I think about it, it looks like the BFG kill was a trap, especially since she was going hard at you over the Csarmi town read. 

 

At the same time, I am not a fan of the way you went after Cory. A person with your experience would know that there will be a lot of mislynches on D1. So, it was weird the way you went after him. Also, I am not a fan of the personal and ad hominem attacks that you had against Dawn and Des when you were having the conversation with Tommy. 

 

But given the logical thought regarding my first point, I think you are town.

 

 

I dunno bout that Pray. Darthe only lightly fos'ed BFG, and didn't really have much direct interaction with her. In fact, he straight up stopped answering her towards the end of day/night phase.

 

I could see him NK'ing her to keep from getting more tangled up with her.

 

 

I see how you could both easily be town.  You're both passionate players, Des just does it with more words, and you do it with a touch more sarcasm.  I'm leaning town on town right now.

 

Exactly. This is what I am feeling right now, after a thorough read of the game.

 

My thoughts about Darthe I have given above. 

 

I had a slight scum read on Des on Day 1 because of his and Cory's frequent and coordinated vote jumps . With Cory flipping town, I think I was off my initial read on him.

 

The exchange between Des and Darthe is intense but with my experience with both of them, I have seen them going against each other a lot of times even when both of them have been town. I think that is the what is happening in this game. This is giving me a feeling that the scum are sitting on the sidelines or nudging subtly the rivalry between Darthe and Des.

 

 

Eh, there have been some minor things which make me think Darthe could actually be telling the truth somehow... as reluctant as I am to admit it. But more importantly, a number of people have come forward to say me and him look like it could be town on town, so I might reevaluate that more.

Lenlo's vote on Darthe last night was the pingiest thing I've read in this thread. Darthe's claim and subsequent comment is far less likely to be "scum taunting" rather than a townie who is sick of someone else's attitude and possibly scummy bravado.

 

Des, there's something about you that's irking me. I've been playing on 2+2 a lot these days, land of the tone reads, and just had a string of wolf games so I feel like I'm particularly tapped into the scum mindset right now and the various subtle ways that influences phrasing and approaches to offense and defense. In terms of conviction and sincerity, Darthe has you beat, and by a long shot. I'm probably never going to recommend lynching him. You will probably say "oh no he manipulated you!" but I somehow doubt you believe I am gullible and can even be manipulated like that.

I don't think I've seen much talk of Len at all before this point. Also, don't scum usually fake claim when a lot of people are trying to lynch them?

How are they scum queries?

1) Third parties are dangerous. We needed to atleast know if they exist in this game.

2) If there are no vanilla town then this would be a role madness game type of game. Knowing this we would have to be alot more careful when dealing with someones claims.

3) We need to know if there are symps as Symps act differently than actual scum.

 

As I said I dont know what I should ask tonight so im trying to figure that out.
