As someone who loves lynching Darthe, I don't think you can take his "I voted you because you are mafia" line as anything but null. Dry sardonic quips are just him regardless of alignment. If anything, him not trying to impress anyone makes it slightly more likely that he's town than scum. So I'll say he's like 65% town to my eyes just from having talked to him so far; you're like 85%.

I've never played with him before; maybe he does things like that often. But that seems like a very new-player type thing to say.

 

Also, Darthe, what is your read on me?

Honestly that was really clear if you read any of the previous pages.  I have given nearly a dozen reasons to vote Des and you're flat ignoring each of those dawn?  It makes you appear incompetent at worst and like you just didn't read the thread at best.  

Yes, I know you gave reasons on previous pages. But I'm still wondering why you said it that way, instead of something like "You should know, I've given a bunch of reasons why I think you're scum"

Yeah, I get it.  He says more and he says it louder so he tends to win. I am not game to win by forcing everyone to think how I do anymore than I am game to play to a group of people who aren't involved.  It is what I like least about DM mafia but I am here and trying.  We will see how it goes.

How is not using a lot of words scummy, necessarily? I know scum generally are not known to be WoTers, I think, but I'm pretty sure not using a lot of words has no connection to people being scum.

 

Also, you didn't use a lot of words in that post. And neither did I in this. Does that make all of us scum? No XD

Didnt like Des' sudden change to Csarmi but the rest seems like town des atm.

 

REALLY didnt like Cory calling des town one second then voting him then unvoting to follow him onto csarmi.

With the surprise flip on Cory (scum wouldn't have known he was going to die I reckon, due to him being a lover)  I was looking for anything that might've pertained to him in a negative light.  Considering I think Des is currently town, Dice here was going after both of him, ping on him.

I explained my csarmi vote before Tina's: csarmi's second post of this game is a "Why, what's wrong" to Tina's response to Jack (? IIRC) - I see that sort of prodding to be rare for town (who are looking more into interactions than being sympathetic mediators), Last game I played with town Salami he was very #YOLO and spammy and this game he's been absent and his few posts have been very reserved; I was maf with him once of VS and remember him being very reserved about it.

Des making an exaggerated case early day 1 is town Des MO; he tries to get the ball rolling instead of being a gutless instigator like you are being

I doubt Tina calls that much attention to herself as town; I've read one game where she was Maf on VS and she was happy to slank to victory as a half-absentee

Give me something concrete, because this "well look at these train formations" wishy-washy commit to nothing one-of-these-three-is-Mafia-but-maybe-not hogwash does not look good on you.

 

Cory, who also had sudden and unexplained "reaction testing" posts as Des, does bring out a better read in this post. I agree about Tina but not the read regarding Des. However, the post is to the point and makes me lean town on Cory.

I didn't contradict at all, I guess the way I worded it was confusing. I was trying to say that I think they are either both mafia or both town. I do not think that 1 is mafia and the other is town.
