Wow. Last few pages have been ... quite painful to get through.

First of all, meh @ Jack flipping town. Would have been nice to see him flip as scum, but we still had a very productive day. And the bpv claim was just a bit too convenient, and had we not lynched him today he likely would have been a potential late game mislynch because of the wifom around his claim.

Second- I don't know if I've been in a game in which Darthe's head was stuck this far up his keyster. It's quite amazing actually, that Darthe even after all this time still has the ability to make me stare at my computer screen in utter disbelief, that someone as intelligent as him could spew the most illogical and antitown arguments on thread, I also don't even see him as town anymore, that just doesn't seem likely at all at this point. His tone and activity level changed DRASTICALLY after the flip, and this is something I recently pointed out about him when he was scum in the Hydra game. He has a difficult time lately keeping from getting too excited after certain moments of the game and gives himself away because of it.

Plus in general he should know how absurd it is to come in all Captain Hindsight after a flip to try and demonize those on the lynch after a D1 mislynch. The whole "they have proven they are unable to find scum" thing was both the most ridiculous and the scummiest thing anyone has said so far this game.

I'm gonna just save the rest for later, after audit I plan on going piece by piece and dismantling Darthe's arguments for the tissue paper soft fluff they are.

Toodles!

10 page in break.

Des – Started out strong with the whymefryme case against Jack, his omgsus was sketchy looking. (although with Jack now having flipped town, I'm dubious against my own judgement.  I always think you're town.)

Darthe could've been trying to get town credit for saying Jack looked awkward rather than scummy.

Dawn – Her posting style is so erratic, I have a very hard time reading her.  I don't know if she's just naturally a fluffy poster like I am, er was..am/was?

First, the non-Darthe stuff:

I don't think so.  My gut says he's town.

This as well as Verbal's response to Darthe's buffoonery gives me good vibes for Verbal. Leaning town on him now.

Oh look. The person who Tina just randomly chose and then managed to get lynched by letting Des do all the legwork turned up town. Who woulda guessed?

Lenlo this post looks bad. You keep making me waffle on you bro. Not good.

It's also odd. That when des and I were tied. Bfg voted me for consolidation. Making it seem I was the only viable train.

Salient point

I voted Jack over Des because I had a town read on Des and said so at the time. That's not ignoring the other train.

vote Jack

Des's posts have seemed pro town since the vote on Csarmi

I was wondering why people were saying you voted Jack to consolidate. Didn't remember you saying so with your vote. Again, townread on BFG.

I'll also give Hallia some slight town points here- when she's scum she just says she has a hard time reading me, and usually accompanies it with a jokey smilie or something. Here she outright says she always thinks I'm town, doesn't act cutesy about it.

Yeah its a bad post but youre by and large a wekak group. Ive been right all day and you pull this crap in the eight hours I slept?

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Jack was clear town and des is obviously scum. If tina isnt then she is at best described as lackadaisical.

Oh and how did cory get away with anything that he said on the last page?

This is the first of many many terribad posts from Darthe.

Captain Hindsight comes in to scold those who lynched Jack, and acts like he's been confirmed right the whole game.

Freaking laughable. Darthe came to a few conclusions which I remember- that I'm scum or obviscum (false), that Csarmi is town because of some blah blah fluff about trains (we don't know, altho if Darthe is scum I think he spewed Csarmi/Tommy as town), and that there's definite scum in me, Cory, and Tina, when none of us have flipped scum and I KNOW I'm town and have strong town reads on the other two.

Basically the only conclusion that Darthe even COULD have been right about was Csarmi being town... and if anything Darthe bragging about being "right" about that when that is far from confirmed makes him look sketchballs as hell.

ALso don't think Jack was anywhere NEAR "clearly town". Look at his iso. It really is a lot of whyme fryme and OMGUS. How was he clear town again?

Quotes a dead townie and agrees with him, in an obvious attempt to link himself to a townie.

Also, he is nudging BFG here, bigtime sketchballs, especially considering she DIDN'T vote Jack for consolidation.

More importantly, I remember not too long ago Darthe fos'ing BFG and saying her wots were off, that she wasn't asking the hard hitting questions or anything. I felt like he once again didn't know what he was talking about since I distinctly even called BFG town for her wots looking townie again. Now it's more likely he is scum trying to play everything that just a really really wrong townie.

Because Des is very likely town and you're prolly scum

Lol almost worth getting lynched to see you wrong again.
You just slipped and revealed you know I'm town despite saying I'm scum five minutes ago

Huh. I dont see it. Strange. Howd that work out?

^^^ Pulls an older quote to try and make Cory look bad, even tho at the time Cory was making a good point.

More bleurgh Captain Hindsight.

There is a gamut of information in the thread to use as we gain more info and flips.

Is this really all that unfamiliar?

Lol I know general mafia theory. I want to see your exact thoughts.
Those are my exact thoughts. I posted my reads pretty recently - i'm pretty transparent, but i heard you don't read big posts so #yolo

This entire conversation is psyduck as hell.

Psyduck on Jack's part mebbe. Cory was right, we DID have a productive day yesterday. Ton of interaction and stuff that will be invaluable later in the game. And Cory wasn't being shy with his thoughts either.

You k ow where I find a lot of scum? People who make statements they cant explain without having to jump through about a half dozen logical hoops. In any case when des dies this is going to be a noose around your neck.

Verbal pretty much beat me to the punch on this one lol.

Cory wouldn't need to jump through a half dozen logical hoops, he very clearly stated he thought me town for meta reasons. No logic puzzles there, unlike when you tried acting like you confirmed Salami as town through some nonsensical jargon.

Hi Tommy

This?

Moar digging thru old posts to try and make Cory look bad.

Thing is, this isn't honest evaluation of older posts on Darthe's sake, trying to look for discrepancies.

This is outright digging through the thread to find stuff to support Darthe's previous narrative.

Now cory, I will admit that I am not very good at this game or anything. Not like some at least. However, I think that even so I would find it hard to consider you some one I could trust here.

This puts people who apparently have the utmost faith in you in an awkward position, wouldnt you say?

Notice how you went red to yellow - I felt better about you after Des explained your meta.

Honestly I've felt better about you since your explanation of Des' meta, but consider me unfond of you attempting to run my nose in the dirt for being wrong about a Day 1 lynch

Im glad to see des could set you at such ease. Odd how effortless it was for you too begin trusting his word in this thread. A player like that. . Hell, I dont think I could be that trusting that quickly, but what do I know? Besides my role pm, that is.

This post is HOWLING out off my comp screen. Whoa jeebus.

"Odd how effortless it was..." is AWFUL tone.

"...but what do I know? Besides my role pm, that is" is one of the most forced, and most blatantly scummy things, I've ever heard Darthe say. Oh me oh my, what am I but just a simple ignorant townie?

Hey cory, riddle me this. Three tasks had the same the people on them. One of those trains id's confirmed to be town. The other two are more likely town than mafia. The odds of the people independently following one another in this game like that are over 1/200. The odds of the lynch being all town are worse. How likely do you think it is that one of you three are mafia? Better, who do you think was scum on the Jack lynch?

I eagerly await your responses.

eye+roll+gif.gif

Here we go again with the probability crap. Can not believe how you still don't get that using probabilities, in a game about PSYCHOLOGY and KNOWING HOW TO READ PEOPLE, is completely missing the point. All your probabilities and statistics and odds will lead us nowhere but straight into the hands of the scum team. Say why someone is scummy, not why the probabilities seem to whisper to you that they do. You're constantly just trying to justify a predetermined narrative and it's gone past the point of being believable. You sir, are scum.

Posted

Tuning me out would be to your own detriment right now.

Who is mafia on the jack train? Put them in order, I dont care how you do it. Give me names and make sure you consider the factors that led to his lynch when youre modofying your reads.

^^^ Fixation on "Who are the scum on the Jack lynch" is disturbing. Almost like mebbe Darthe knows the scum avoided it and that he can try and lead town through some mislynches...

Posted

You make a few points that I wanted highlighted here. This is all logical progression cory. Here we are:

1. These votes are not being redistributed randomly, meaning that the three of you are a uniform unit for voting purposes.

2. Your independent affects on the game are insignificant but combined create extra value or meaning.

3. Jack flipping town increases the odds that mafia were on his lynch.

4. With these three facts above how do I respond to it when I see on thread that at one point you voted des, that he and you distanced from tina for a while or that 5. so far your group has proven itself unfit to find mafia? Ill tell you exactly what it says.

It says that your group isnt entirely town. 6. I dont know who is mafia or how but at least one of you clearly is. That you are unwilling to acknowledge that doesnt look good for you.

7. If you have to order you three from town/scum then what do you say?

This one is a doozy.

1. Exactly- our votes are not distributed randomly, nor are they distributed by mindless automatons. Guess what Darthe? People that see other people as town will sometimes agree with reads or where to place votes. The fact that we three were promoting voting activity at the start of the game should NOT be something that leads you to conclude we are all possible scum.

2. This is an ambiguously worded statement that essentially means nothing. By talking about a tenous link he himself has created, he tries to build it up as a "fact" later on when nothing, especially nothing close to a factual statement, is being said here.

3. Uh, what? You're just freaking generalizing. That's not always the case, so by going by probability why not just lynch randomly every day? You HAVE to judge the CONTEXT of the freaking situation to see where scum are more likely to be hiding. In this case, for me I would say that the sudden late bandwagoners might be looked at, but other than that I suspect wolves were totally fine with hanging on the sidelines when two trains were town/town (mine and Jack's), so the outlier votes are where I think scum would be most easily caught.

4. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL @ your three "facts". More like one misconception, one empty statement saying nothing, and another weak probabilities based generalization that doesn't necessarily have any relevance in THIS game. Three facts roflmao. You're such a joker Darthe.

5. so much at that part. Unfit to find mafia? After town has had ONE FRIGGIN FLIP?!?!?! You gotta be kidding me. Scumluminatus!

6. You have, in no discernable or remotely coherent way, shown how it is "clear" that one of me, Tina, or Cory is definitely scum. MAFIAILLLLLL on your part there bro.

7. Here's where Darthe starts hounding Cory more on ranking us in order of town/scum, which is really just an incredibly manipulative way of trying to make town focus on lynching within that pool. In fact, here's where I suddenly figured out how scummy you really were being this game. You're now just trying to use a semi-arbitrary reasoning to create a lynch pool, just to try and get some mislynches going for your team. You're not giving any truly comprehensive analysis on WHY there's definitely a scum in our midst, you're just making vague references to odds and generalizations. This isn't town!Darthe trying to scumhunt. This is scum!Darthe trying to obfuscate.

You can't force me to do anything - I operate my own way, not yours. I don't even particularly like the way you operate, why would I care if you want me to conform?

This was odd.  You should want to provide information so that we have a better sense of your alignment and intentions in the game, shouldn't you?  I am merely asking questions Cory.  If you don't like questions directed at you it is going to come off like you are attempting to avoid the attention.

Im waiting cory. Oh, for the point of it this is me critiquing the plays of the previous night. Your play here is in the spotlight, not you. Present your thoughts well.

Don't bother critiquing my play - tell me what about it makes me scum.

If you're getting @ me as a player... get in line. I've heard it all before, I'm sure many of us have heard it all before.

Odder.  Does your play here make you scum?  That looks like A LOT more of a slip than whatever you perceived in that post from Jack.  The defensiveness here is very retaliatory though you at least know to not attempt to attack.

The town was in a perpetual fog and you had a sense of foreboding from the moment your eyes fluttered open. Happy to know you have survived to live through another dismal day, a sinking sense of fear came over you as you walked into the clearing. The scene before you is from a nightmare. There is a listless body lying in a pool of blood, one ray of sunshine penetrating the fog and licking at the deceased's sparking skin. The look of anger and terror is etched into Edward's dead eyes from when his throat was torn out and his head removed from his body.

BFG, Edward - lover, is dead.

As the sun rises, Bella let out a wail and ran to her cold, lifeless lover's body. Tearfully, she pulls out a dagger and plunges it hilt deep into her abdomen and slumps over Edward, sobbing until every drop of her blood is spilled.

Cory, Bella - lover, has committed suicide and is dead.

It is day, with 11 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.
