Leelou, I'm a little surprised you're calling me out for going along with Wombat, when you initially agreed with him too. I was just more vocal about why I agreed with him.

I should also point out that I agreed strongly with his lynch idea when it appeared that the Verbal was a one-time role. In that case, it really did make a lot more sense to go ahead and use it up, because using it later in the game would give too much info to the mafia, and it would prevent us from choosing to no-lynch at lylo.

However, once Despo clarified that that wasn't how the Verbal worked, the no lynch idea seemed no better or worse to me than a majority lynch. I then switched my no lynch vote to vote Jack - and not because Wombat voted Jack, but because Jack had been one of my top scum reads since I did my read-through on Day 2. You can check that, if you like.

I'm going to try and do a reread now. Just going off my feelings now, I'm feeling pretty town about Vos. Still not feeling very good about Hallia, and for some reason, Verbal is starting to make me uneasy too, though that is purely gut instinct, and I need to read back to see if there is any substance to that feeling. Otherwise, I feel very null about everyone else.

Alanna, I did not outright agree with wombat and actually questioned him. I thought his reasoning for it being a one time use would be better to get out of the way earlier than later in the game. That all changed to when Des said it could be used multiple times. I'd rather the lynch be controlled and the witches not get the info on if the Verbal role is still in play for their soup picks.

It was like someone had paused their DVR and was now going forward frame by frame. Pralaya had sensed something wrong and had looked up to see a strange shimmering in the air. Seeing it traveling towards one of his friends, he went into John Woo mode and dramatically started running in slo-mo towards the soon-to-be victim. A dole of doves flew off behind him, and it even seemed the ethos and pathos of the situation was raised even more by stark Wagneresque music playing softly in the background.

Pralaya's face contorted in a series of dramatic yet strangely hilarious faces that morphed slowly from rictus of fear to countenance of furied determination to a mask of slight constipation possibly and back to the lip dragging fear-rictus again. His target on the other hand, was frozen in confusion as they stared at the individual running towards them at breackneck speed and as if they were in slow motion at the same time.

There was even one of those cool moments where someone dropped something in astonishment and the object slowly fell towards the earth, finally shattering in a reality bending visual that had ripples peel out across the surface before finally fracturing into like a million pieces.

The notes of dramatic music finally raised in dramatic crescendoes as Pray finally reached the one he saw the shimmering heading towards. He shoved them away with a slow grunt that sounded like a dramatic juvenile sloth's roar (cause were still on slow mo) and then finally, the shimmering came crashing down into him. Hitting him square in the gut, he was rocketed backwards and spittle and his eyeballs flew out from his face cartoon-like.

When he finally landed, he was already dead, and John Woo and Prince joined together somewhere for a soulful mourning rendition of "When Doves Cry" to honor the young man's sacrifice. No one is sure of whether or not the doves actually were crying, but personally I'm not even sure doves have tear ducts to begin with. Anyways-

Pralaya has sacrificed himself to save another!

Best death scene I've read in a while - good stuff.

So I was obviously barking up the wrong tree with my theory on Pralaya.  This is good, actually, as I re-read that sequence and the 2 players that went along with me were Jack (openly questioning Pralaya with me) and Leelou (who just agreed and stayed quiet on it).

I'd say there are solid chances the final (if Wombat was a witch) witch is one of them.  With the low # of townies left, the double-voter is dangerous.  I knew I'd be dead early if I could double vote, and I'm curious the witches have not yet decided a townie doublevoter was a threat......so I think Leelou is the lynch.

Hallia:  null, I can't remember much from her

Alanna:  slight town - she's been questioning me and suspicious of me all game, which is her meta for me and gives me townie vibes.

Keeping you alive for WIFOM is much more dangerous than simply removing the power of a double vote when this few people are alive.

I don't buy it.

Also, I remember FOSing you early on D1 and noting it was the earliest I've ever done it.  If I was on the money, I'm chest thumping like the Ape has never managed before, lol.

Nah, you'll be doing what Ape normally does when he is wrong and blame it all on me for bad play because clearly he couldn't have a bad read.

Oooh....a terse response from you - interesting.  You know I never blame bad play on people, so now I'm reading this as an annoyed response that we are right.

Or, I could have a bad read.  But in the interests of town, the double vote is dangerous late-game.  I never intended to live long enough for it.  I am also finding it odd that you think they'll WIFOM this when they haven't show that much "3 steps ahead" thinking.  You know that is how I'd roll, so that should clear me as town, lol.  I'd have done what I suggested Pralaya did, and then silenced the big threat (Panda vote) much earlier than this.

The conclusion I'm reaching is that you're likely scum.  You don't plan - you react.  Now you're reacting.

I only plan with teams that like to plan, otherwise it's not worth it. And just because you don't actually see me planning, doesn't mean I don't have something in mind. Yes, I tend to react, but I do so as both alignments. So that should really be a null for you. I feel comfortable with you in the middle of my lynch train though, I'm fairly certain you are town, dear.

I think I've said all there is to say.

Seeing Mish, play and learning more of her meta I'm pretty confident she's town, Hallia has posted little and sporadic. I'm oddly in tune with verb this game. Vos has also played a game that I can easily follow the logic on. Leelou, I think is scum based on her general activity and the witches letting the CosVote chill.

I was at work, O.o That's to be expected of me during that timeframe though.  Odd that you called me out during that time.  For Mish, we have her claim that she was protected.  Is that the claim of any sort we've had from the remaining pool?

What do you think of Alanna, Jack?

Oh sorry I thought I included her. I think she's >rand scum tbh. She's been quiet and noncommittal and just blowing with the breeze. Hasn't had an opinion that runs contrary to that of the popular mindset.

It's crazy with no flips. Complaining gets us nowhere though. I'm pretty confident wombat was the second witch but if I'm wrong then that completely skews things and puts us in an entirely different situation.

Thought I'd written a reply here. Abit hazed so apparently not.

Leelou is just striking me as more and more scummy when under pressure now.

ISO'd her, and nothing really stood out as very pro-town. No matter how wary she might have been about the panda and target-on-her-back, she has been coasting pretty hardcore, and when she finally got some attention she didn't hold up.

Official Vote Count

Leelou (3): Jack, Mish, Verbal
Alanna (2): Leelou

Not Voting (7): Hallia, Alanna, Vos

The "not voting" group is the same as those who have not voted yet today

With 7 alive, it takes 4 to hammer if all other votes have been cast. To "Hyperlynch" you must gather N-1 votes on someone, where N=the number of players surviving. So today that number would be 6.

Day 4 deadline
