It sort of seems like Wombat is trying too hard to sound like town, so I'm actually starting to lean scum on Wombat. Although, his reminder on the soup mechanism makes me not so sure. That's a very town thing to do (since that's very powerful if the scum end up using it) but he could have said it to try to seem very town.

Unvote Dawn. Vote Wombat.

Lol.  Lily says she might vote me and all of a sudden I'm trying too hard to look town.  But you're not sure because the soup warning was pretty pro-town.  But I could have been doing that to look town.  Which is what you already said I've been doing and an angle Verbal already brought up when I first did it.  Bandwagoning?  Check.  WIFOM/Hedging?  Check.  Redundant Filler?  Check.  Pretty scummy vote.  Add it to your joke self-vote and ineffectual complaint about weekend activity, and you're looking pretty scummy here.  What's the story morning glory?

Honestly, what does complaining about weekend activity have to do with being scum or not? It's not really scummy OR town, and a pretty neutral thing to do. That's a pretty ridiculous reason for being suspicious of me. I was just getting bored because there was barely any activity, and the majority of activity was about the cosmic panda, which NO ONE IS BOTHERING TO EXPLAIN TO ME. I've read the "other mechanisms" thing and STILL don't get it, and I'm too scared to look it up on the mafia wiki myself since people might think I'm being coached if I suddenly know what it is. Basically a lose-lose situation for me.

As for bandwagoning, it wasn't that big of a bandwagon since I was the only person who has voted for you so far and I think Lily is the only other person who has acted suspicious of you, and she didn't even vote you. Besides, bandwagoning HAS to happen in the game, or the players will never be able to come to a consensus on who to lynch.

As for my joke self-vote? I pretty much did it because I've only played 1 game and I was scum in the only other game I've played. So pretty much, because I was scum in the 1 other game, it means I've been scum in 100% of the other games I've played, so pretty much it was Vote Dawn, she's always scum. I wasn't planning on keeping that vote for very long.

This day, we can vote for one person in blue. The person with the most blue votes at the end of the day gets an extra power which is that players vote is counted as two (he or she has a double-vote).

Complaining about inactivity without adding is scummy though imo.  It looks like someone trying to say something that seems town without doing something that actually is town.

For the Cosmic Panda, we're basically voting to give someone two votes.  The mechanic is relatively simple.  Beyond that, the discussion is about the consequences of our decision.

Your point on bandwagoning is valid and a good defense.

And your joke self-vote didn't really say anything and could have been a way to avoid linking yourself to other players so that is why it's suspicious.  Got a mixed read on you right now because you do seem to be sticking your neck out a bit which is townish and the scummy things you've been doing could be due to you being new.

Thanks for explaining the cosmic panda thing. So basically we vote the person who seems to be the most town/best at finding scum? And I guess I should've tried adding to the activity but I had no suspicions yet, which is why I wanted there to be more activity.

Also, I think before I joke self-voted I joke claimed me and Lily to both be scum.

Overall goal, but basically to have it in the hands of town to keep an extra vote from scum.

As far as the joke vote thing on yourself, I'm getting a meh/null from it since you are a new player and I've never played with you before.

Working as intended

Stop stealing my lines.

And I'd also like to nominate Leelou for the panda. She is reading relaxed townie, and has neither said "I WANT IT" nor "I DON'T WANT IT". I think a double vote would be good in the hands of the most relaxed and calm-headed player here.

Cosvote Leelou

Could also give it to Jack or Mish methinks.

WHAT?!?!  I'M AS CALM AS THEY COME!!!!!!!!

Fair enough, but he didn't use that in his reasoning.

I'm calling shenanigans on this whole thing!

Are you calling me needy because I want the double vote?

Or because I'm joking around with folks about it?

This is a serious question, btw.

So if you know I'm joking, then why say I'm coming off needy?  And don't answer with you're joking, because you would have made it obvious you were joking.

Y'all want a single votecount?

Holy crap how did I miss this?  That is one of my favorite Korn songs.

vote Verbal for calling me Peace.

I'll make this red.

vote Verbal

Initial vote on me based on a joke I made calling her Peace.

Hmm can I vote you in both colors?

You joking, I assume.

Hmm can I vote you in both colors?

Sure.  Blue and Green, please.

I was thinking hot pink.

More joking to my joke.

I'd rock it.

I have the perfect shirt you could borrow.

Again.

@verb like you said it's not the most powerful role, and saying you'll probably die is lame and you know it. If your a witch and don't get night killed then you have set up your lynch for the next day with the double vote. If your a townie. The witches would just keep you alive to push your lynch next day using your own logic. I'm not liking this play at all.

Sounds like a lose-lose scenario for me, then. Why so against it?

Seems odd you be for it. Mostly.

Also I don't really trust you or your motives.

Trusting the Ewok this early would be silly.

While somewhat game-related, still a little jokey to me.

Yet more joking.

And now finally calling me out on all my jokes......that she's been playing off of the entire D1 thus far. She has maybe 2-3 other posts since I started with my jokes, but they are not aimed at me. Anything aimed at me has been pretty much 100% jokey.

And now "a lot of truth can be found in joking".

Indeed. Huge FOS to Leelou, and this is probably the earliest I've ever done this to her.

At least one of the admins is incredibly lazy.
