You know, now that we know about the executioner, was there any chance that it could have been but into play yesterday to save Ameg/Thane?

Could that have been what the competing trains were all about?

I think it would have been too obvious to execute the counter train when so many people had pegged the straw hats as scum. It seems like a waste of such a strong ability. I wonder why you are trying to put the focus on the people that were on Leelou's train.

They might have another shot with the executioner you know? We probably should be careful with all this running up trains stuff.

This is another example where Ithi has resulted to fearmongering in her attempts to prevent people from scumhunting. I have only ever seen Executioner's in the form of a 1-shot ability so we shouldn't have to worry about that.

Normally I do have an almost instant town read on you des.

But this game I don't. In fact you nag at the corner of my brain (not in a good way)

Now I know I'm town, therefore I assume you are what has changed. I haven't really combed through your posts yet to find the reason it's bothering me. But I do believe you are ain't town

Lol at you using Darthe's words.

You're an excellent Padawan.

Why aren't you calling me scum?

You really are doing an excellent job this game with deflecting attention away from yourself. It's just a shame that we are already on to you, scum :)

First section: first line. Was that what was decided when you discussed in mafia QT? Or that it should be saved for a town pr that got forced to claim. Might be a good idea for someone with time on their hands to see who was trying to get trains going. Trains lead to claims and possible executions. Last line: only the straw hats were voting SS at eod day 1. Why you mention leelou here?

Second section: how is advocating a little caution when faced with a rolevthat could in effect intsakill someone fearmongering? You cam still question and look for mafia without giving the executioner another easy shot. How many games have you played with this role involved? IIRC, in the game referenced (spider country) it had 2 shots. I could be wrong tho. And it was a large game. But why be cavalier in this case?

Ugh I got confused between Evil Siblings and Sexy Sisters... I thought that the Sexy Sisters were the countertrain to the Straw Hats at the end of the Day. My point however that Ithi is trying to put the focus on a very specific player pool because of OMGUS reasons still remains.

Vote Count - 1.15

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

Straw Hats (7) - Clarthe, HaXorz, WIFUM, SexySisters, RTL, PFG, Evil Siblings

Sexy Sisters (1) - Strawhats

Evil Siblings (3) - YoloHashSwag, Spliffanity, CRUNK

not voting : J-TAG

That's a lynch. Scene incoming.

Her saying that we shouldn't run people up because of the slightest chance that the mafia have another executioner shot doesn't equate to advocating a little caution. It equates to trying to prevent people from voting each other and thus scumhunting only because of an unrealistic fear of the unknown. Votes speak louder than words do and your argument that you can still effectively hunt for the mafia while not passing over a certain treshhold is absurd.

Now can you answer my question from yesterday evening about Despo?

Posted

I didn't even mention you and Darthe @ Cloud. Why would you think I was talking about you?

Unless there's another group of people you think I'm focusing on.

I didn't think that you were talking about us. I merely pointed out how your nudging of the people that were on ES's train was pinging to me.

Do you not think that the Mafia team would have preferref to lynch someone other than Ameg/Thane?

It was D1

He was their Jailkeeper

You think they didn't even try to save him?

Why?

First, how are her reasonings driven by omgus? The people on the evil sibs train were

#Yolo, we have thought them mafia since early gamevand haven't really changed that thought.

Spliff, they haven't said much about us that I cam recall

Crunk, Cory did tryvto rum us up but has since gone on to state that he sees no way we were mafia with straw hats.

So who is it that we think sucks? Who are you trying to defend in that group?

You cam definitely hunt mafia without running people up to L-2 or whatever. That is just silly.

As to the thing with Despo, I believe there were three posts he made between Sk claiming cop and AJ getting deaded. In the first he calls hallia most valuable hobbit for her vote on AJ. In the second he argues with AJ. In that post he says something like AJ knows he won't be lynched. It sounds odd. Like he knows that AJ is basically already lynched or will be shortly. The other post I think is where he doesn't unvote. I may have the sequence messed up. It looks off to me based on what happens. No unvote, thankful for another vote, the line about AJ knowing he wouldn't be lynched. How often is a cop claim lynched the same day without a cc? That Despo used that line of thought sounds like he knew what was coming and twisted the knife a bit.

And it is time to work soon. This may be it for the day unless I can squeeze some time somewhere unexpected.

I do think that they tried to save him at first, but I don't think they went as far as to try and Execute their counter train because in my opinion it wouldn't have achieved anything. People were convinced that the Straw Hats were scum and doing that would have only delayed the invetable and wasted a valuable PR.

Posted

Clearly not everyone was - because not everyone was voting for them - and we only achieved a Lynch at the last minute.

You aren't really making a lot of sense.

Did Darthe pull the trigger?

Turin, I meant to say WIFOM instead of OMGUS. I have a cold and all these terms have jumbled in my brain.

Everything is wifom.

Everything.

Hence ---> Mafia

Do you know anything besides your own alignment and the already dead people for certain?

Despo got them confused too when he was casing AJ yesterday. Krak pointed it out and Despo changed the topic.

How is it wifom?

Also, you seem to have a lot of thoughts/opinions of what the mafia would and would not do.

The terms mean what they mean ... Unless you don't mean them and are just parroting stuff. Have you messed up the pla @ Cloud?

I don't see how calling Hallia the most valuable hobbit shows how he knew what was going to happen with AJ. Despo was argueing with AJ during the entire Day and it's logical from AJ to expect that he won't be lynched after he claimed to be the Cop. We have already discussed that for J-TAG to be executed he didn't need to have 4 votes so him not unvoting also isn't telling us anything. I went over Despo's posts before the event and I haven't see any example where he knew what was going to happen.

No, but I do have my assumptions. I also disagree that evcerything is WIFOM as you can exclude certain things because the chances of them being true are incredibly low.

Posted

I love that your assumptions are ok ... But mine and Turin's are not.

Lol

Unless you know the set up of the game you don't for sure that anything you think or feel is correct.

But you do just have to go with those thoughts and feelings.

Posted

The difference between your assumptions and mine is that I can trust mine to be true.

If you are going down that road then you can question everything and it won't make you an effective scumhunter at all. You have to trust your reads on people even though you can't be 100% sure of them being true.
