The progress is too slow for me, so I just check the subreddit for updates. I can't believe they managed to catch Zapdos. On anarchy.

I know of it but not enough to understand the references people throw out like Helix's. And I don't see how there is any progress in the game.

Helix is an item that shows up on the item list, but you cant really do anything with it.  Since its pretty much a whole lot of chaos every item gets selected eventually and most can get used, but helix cant.  So people will select it more than other items since those other items will be used and gotten rid of.

Helix is a fossil of Omanyte that you get early in the game. People started a uhhh cult for it I guess.

We just beat Blue to the tune of 90,000 viewers.

And it looks like we'll be starting Gold tomorrow.

 

In all honesty I think this works better as a one shot deal.

The pokemon games get enormous after R/B/Y, I don't mean just places you can go.

The things you can do increase so much. In Gold you have the bug catching contest, the radio contest, the ruins of alph, and the celedon casino to name stuff off the top of my head.

And then of course the games explode again in third gen with contests and the battle frontier. Like what?! Can you even imagine Twitch playing Emerald? I just think it's too much. I mean I'll watch at least some of it but I don't really support going past Red.
