Csarmi is actually howling again a little bit. He's showing signs of his scum meta- he's much more reasonable and "helpful townie" as scum, and I saw him doing this a bit with Kronos earlier.

Being "helpful" never had anything to do with my alignment, you've got that as a "tell" in your head on some point, I'm not sure why. Anyway, as I said earlier, I'm striving to be more nice and have more fun in general (and in my games too). Surely you can see what I'm trying to do with Kronos by the way.

 

I'm trying to figure out the motivation behind your line. For now, I'll just go with "you just said what was in your mind" cause your post seems alright (as in natural) to me in general. I can't help but wonder, however, if you'd like to A) discourage teamplay there (pure scum motivation) or B) just throw some stuff at me to see if it sticks (can have town and scum motivations behind it).

Not really used to seeing Salami post questions like this- the indirect form of questioning. I've seen people like Tom and others do it a ton, I'm thinking it's possible Csarmi started using this maneuver to make himself look better in the eyes of CoryTom.

Thanks for the compliment sir, but no, I'm not nearly so self-aware when playing. I'm using a lot of stuff that I picked up on my ventures to other forums. I'm more likely to use stuff from players I read as very good.

 

 

I´ll keep my eyes on Des. I don´t understand the defense of him. I do agree with him about TG though. TG seems to just echo others. 

 

Des - before you say anything about it - yes, it´s okay to have conflicted reads on day 1!

 

Regarding me- she doesn't point out anything new, or really anything scummy about me at all in particular, just that she doesn't see why others have a town read on me. Yet she still agrees with me about TG. Seen her post stuff like that as scum before as well.

 

That's a good point about Tina, actually. I'll have to check if this is true when I'm re-reading.

 

As for conflicting reads- townies really shouldn't often have conflicted reads. If so, then they're not rationalizing their reads together and seeing how they fit in context. If there is a conflicting read, there should be some kind of reason for it being conflicted- for instance I have a scum read on you Tina, but Monk, someone else I find somewhat suspicious, also fos'ed you. I don't think he was bussing or distancing necessarily, I'm thinking my read on him is somewhat muddled due to his playstyle.

 

See what I mean tho? I recognize the conflict in two of my reads, but approach it with the big picture in mind to see how it fits. If you're not doing that, it's prob not a case of town having conflicted reads but more an example of scum pushing "reads" that don't make sense together.

Nonsense. Different people think in different ways. For instance, I'm not rationalizing my reads together and see how they fit in context. Not normally, not without a very conscious effort.

I certainly wouldn't take the effort to do that on day one. I did manage to do it once or twice, but always on later days.

I have a hard time reading the guy. Take that literally. I had to read that post three times to find out what he's saying.

He wanna read up, form his analysis and clash - sounds fine. Jumping to AJ's sheep vote (he IS right that's a sheepvote) is weird.
