What made me suspect that your reaction was staged was that you said that I have claimed to be a doc, while the talk was all about bodyguards during the last two pages.

Read it again. Doc type role. It's what a bodyguard is. They die if the player they are targeting is shot instead of the player. If Vos is really the bodyguard instead of the doc, it's the only protective role and it's basically a 1 shot thing.
