Not to be weird, but it isn't a very aesthetically pleasing forum. Can you change the skin or color options if you are a member?

Lol yes and it ranges from people playing as well as I have ever seen to people trolling and breaking games so it sort of has everything.  =p the last game is a good example of something good that went sour near the end.

it appears to be devoted to stuff and things.

 

like DM but not ostensibly based on a single series of books. many of the same features plus general chat stuff plus something called casino for adult fun that I can't see cause I'm not registered but I assume is some kind of naughty.

 

the crowd is maybe a different demographic lets say than here and perhaps not so many readers and there looks like some awful lot of anime or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays thingies.

Personally I don't like the forum theme.  It is all manga and anime and stuff.  But I do like mafia and they play it.  Sort of a new place but games are quick and when they don't get messed up by someone being a jerk they are fun.  Tom is from there.

 

As for that beginners thread Cindy, I introduce a lot of terms and stuff here but most of them I pull from other sites.  Obvscum comes from MS.

I don't like the terms that start getting overused but it's my fault for reading too many games.

oh, also, dunno if their search is like our search but... if you're using ## for votes I think mebbe ### would be easier cause you can't search for less than three characters.

Games aren't too quick, I hope. I was surfing around and saw some 12-hour night DLs. No sane game should have a night DL lasting less than a full RL day. I couldn't tell if 12 hours was a norm or not. I saw days ranging from 24-48 hours from what I can tell. 48 is tolerable, but 24-hour days are just nuts.

I just ctrl F  and No I am definitely not trying to take people away from here, I like mafia here more than anywhere else.  But I am trying to do something cool and sort of band together multiple small mafia sites.  Working with some mods on it now, sort of like a mafia game tour of different places and etc.  I can't say more now though.

They are more internet attached as Cindy said.  12 is a bit rushed but 18 isn't uncommon and 24 is really normal.  Days can be 24 or 48 but 24 is more common.
