Hey all, since i don't have any sort of mp3 player or ipod, i was wondering if anybody could give me some recommendations about some good players out there. basically something thats relatively affordable, and has lots of space for music, pics, vids, etc.

Thanks

Go for an iPod. Out of all the players out there, they've definitely got the easiest interface, with the Click Wheel and all, and it's ridiculously easy to interface it with your computer and update it.

Before you buy any musical device you should make sure that it has a radio on it. Trust me you'll need the variety of music that a radio provides

The Sansa e200 series is pretty decent if you want something like the iPod for a lower price. They're about the size of an iPod Nano, but they play video. The only major con is the Sansa's inability to natively play Ogg files.

I have this. It's very, very awesome. Lots of space, the picture quality is good, the colours are beautiful, there's an FM radio and best of all - if you're planning to carry it with you 24/7 - it's stood up to quite a battering without being scratched. :P

I bought an ipod a few months ago, plays great, didnt have any problems at all withit, except one, ppl keeped eyeing me, and one day i discovered, that the ipod was actually a stolen idea from another company, and that it was a cheap court settlement.

I'm a big iPod fan. (I've had my Mini for over two years now. It's "vintage" ;) but I'm hoping to get a Nano later this year.) It's really simple to use, and you use it with iTunes which I prefer to Media Player. They're getting cheaper but are still quite expensive but I think they are worth the money.

I have to say the iPod. I had an iPod photo shortly after they first came out and loved them because of the easy to use interface. That and the fact that after you install the software onto your computer all you have to do is plug it in to update the music on it. That and I love iTunes so much more than Windows media player. Granted, that's just a personal preference.
