Okay, only about 7.5 hours left and I just looked through the posts from Nerv... Up until the end of the game there were not a lot of posts to go on and her early comments that Ish was def town make her seem suspect.  Adding in the fact that just before Ish was lynched her activity suddenly spiked, compared to most of the others I saw during the reviewing of the game, I am also thinking there is a possibility of Mafia for her as well... Though with my reads on AJ/Verb I'm now stuck with three possible suspects on my list... I have a stong feeling on AJ but want to hear Peace's last minute opinions before we think of casting this vote...

 

Pretty sure it will be either AJ or Verb and, if wrong, could mean an end for the town...

Quote? It might be, by all means, I just can't remember. Regarding my activity peak about mid-game. It's my first game, which I hate to use as an "excuse", but it was why I tried to stay in the background for the first days to get a feel of it. 

 

 

And just for the record, I'm a him :P

 

And I agree with you on holding on for peaces last minute remark. I'm pretty should we're safe either way though, as I mentioned.

Okay, D1 Final Count. Ishy we know was scum now and you also have Womby on the wagon which makes sense considering his role and the way he chastised everyone for voting Hoof and then voted himself. Not much to see here... Hoof wagon was mostly Town players. Lots of people not voting but I'm focusing mostly on Verb here. When I was doing my catch-up during my drive up to NC I know he posted around the DL.

All in all, there is nothing scummy about not being on a townie lynch.  Hell, I even made that post about consolidation, as we'd need to get "a" lynch.  GF took care of it with his ninja hammer.  Which helps explain my agreement with Ishy - see the bottom of this post.

 

 

 

 

I'm gonna chalk those up to newb posts. Sorry for being scarce but I knew DL was today and needed to check in. I'm traveling currently and will only have my phone to post with until Sunday at the earliest but I will try to make it count when I can get on.

 

Allowing that Leelou is the Doc, she could choose to self-protect during Night so her surviving to D2 doesn't implicate her by any means. The mafia would also know that she could do so and likely would look elsewhere for their NK.

 

That said I'm not a big fan of the Hoof wagon considering how it started. Leelou is Doc so I'm not gonna vote there. I'm liking Peace for Town so far. There's something about his exchange with Ishy that stood out to me. I can't quote it though :dry:

I think this is a good place to start. I've seen a few mention how him not calling Leelou for her buddying is odd and I can see the scum motivation for allowing a Town player to solidify a connection to you like that. DL is in 6 hours? I'll check in later and consolidate if need be but given Leelou's claim and the basis of Hoof's lynch I think we need to vote in another direction.

This is AJ using the already-stated case on me.....that Leelou was buddying me.  Whoop.  Whatta case.  And he parrots it and thinks that's a good place to BURY A VOTE.  Now, who buries votes like that to distance from scum buddies (like Ishy on that train)?  Oh yeah.  So you'll case me for the same thing you did (distancing).  Ouch.  That's quite the contradiction, dontchathink?

it's pretty complicated, but utterly valid. The mafia may have been scared of Des, but it certainly wasn't for anything he did yesterday. His top two were Hoof and Leelou. Therefore, they had another reason for killing Des. One that wouldn't have worked on Verbal or me. I gave 3 scum reads yesterday. Des, you, and Peace. That the mafia killed Des shows me that they probably wanted me to move away from my reads by killing a townie who was in them. They probably figured that they could brush it off as WIFOM. And that's where they fell for my trap. If the mafia really wanted to WIFOM it up, they should have killed me. But I'd already WIFOM'd them so they were scared of doing it. Because it would be WIFOMing with one of their members' lives. They also probably thought they could get me lynched if they killed Despo. Silly of them. So they tried to hedge by killing one of my reads who had also FoS'd me to make town doubt me. But that's where they messed up. If there were no scum in my scum reads (highly unlikely), they should have aimed elsewhere knowing that I would probably continue to press my scum reads. But they didn't. Cuz there's scum there. So at least one of you and Peace is probably scum. And that's where Monty Hall comes in. The mafia showed me a goat by killing Despo, so now I'm switching doors and voting you. And I'm gonna win a brand new car.

I'm truly on the fence with you. I get the nagging feeling you're trying to manipulate me with some of your posts, but then you say something like this that I 100% agree with. Specifically the bold - this is what a smart scum team will do with a good townie scumhunter that isn't on the right track - they'll keep him alive and let him lead the town down the wrong path. We do it with the Ape all the time, so this stands out to me as townie points for you.

 

As it stands, I'm keeping my eye on Wombat, but will not vote him today.

 

I'd be inclined to potentially vote GF - Ishy is in the right on that subject, and I'd support it with my vote.

 

 

Or....I could just stand here and be awesome. Yeah, I'm gonna go for that.

 

The bolded goes hand-in-hand with the theory that Wombat posted earlier about the scum team intentionally killing Des in order to have Wombat tunnel his original reads a bit harder. This is all but guilty omission lol. Also, notice the bit where he says he is more inclined to vote for GF over Ishy.

 

As you can clearly see with the timestamps, I said I'd vote GF in large part to the quotes above made a few days earlier.  Call Ishy's case on GF whatever you want - it was not 100% scum motivated.  We can clear that part up after the game with Ishy, I'm sure, but my point remains.  GF made a bad vote, and several people calling him out on this type of play.....and I was willing to lynch him for it.  Simple.

Yes, I am.  If I have to hammer the obvious into his stubborn head, I will.  That quick-vote by AJ today should be all that's required - no way does a townie do that, unless they are bad.  And I think AJ's a good player, so there is only 1 other explanation.

 

And of course you don't care which one is lynched - if me, game is over.  If AJ, you'll play that off as me being the obvious partner and trying to gain town cred with his lynch......you've already breadcrumbed the case - don't bother hiding it.

That said I do not think a vote should be made until we have all discussed it clearly since a wrong vote from a town member and the two remaining mafia, if there are two and not just one, would jump on to kill the town person and win the game for themselves.  It should be a decision which we make AS A TEAM and then proceed with (Which also holds bad for AJ's case since he has a vote in and no one jumped on the train (Either he needs a town member to join him or he's right and your teammate does not want to join in the call.)

And I stand by that assesment, heh. Where everyone one else was playing "as I expected" it to be, Ishy behaved completely different, beeing short, aggresive and behaving very... oddly. But again nobody seemed to react that way. Maybe he is just usually like that. I'm still not sure what was up with his game, and if that is how he usually is.

Ishy is normally a semi-aggressive player, so I didn't really notice much out of the ordinary for him.

 

 

I have a stronger inclination towards AJ being Mafia but also get a mafia vibe from you. I get a slight vibe from nerv as well but not as strong as you or AJ.

That said I do not think a vote should be made until we have all discussed it clearly since a wrong vote from a town member and the two remaining mafia, if there are two and not just one, would jump on to kill the town person and win the game for themselves.  It should be a decision which we make AS A TEAM and then proceed with (Which also holds bad for AJ's case since he has a vote in and no one jumped on the train (Either he needs a town member to join him or he's right and your teammate does not want to join in the call.)

 

Glad you called this out again.  It should not be forgotten.  This is the biggest scumslip for AJ.  Townies just don't take those chances with the game on the line.  Actually, I'd argue that NEITHER town nor bussing scum take that chance.  This would mean I'm town, as even scum-AJ wouldn't want a quick lynch on scum-Verbal if there was a chance for a town mislynch.

 

This should be all the evidence needed.  The simplest explanation is that AJ is scum and I am town, as scum quickvoting a townie looking for the easy win.  Sloppy?  Yes.

 

Actually, I think this is where I'm going to hang my hat.  That I haven't been lynched yet should prove that AJ is scum.  I am a potential scum, but it is obvious that AJ is; otherwise, I'd be dead already.

 

For the love of all logic, please just lynch AJ.

I agree that Wombat's suspect list isn't as credible considering his alignment, the point was that if you are going to use evidence of dead player's reads it isn't like you've gone this entire game without someone being suspicious of you.

 

You had my vote on D1 after Leelou's reveal, which I have already explained that scum will often allow Townies to buddy them for later associative tells in the event that you were lynched. That wouldn't have worked this time seeing how she landed the Doc role, but you obviously wouldn't have known that.

 

Pral also was suspect of you, which you neglected to ever respond to and later helped ensure that he was lynched over your scum buddy Ishy. That brings another quote of yours to mind where you state clearly that you chose not to respond to people's comments on you so that you wouldn't appear jumpy.

 

Does it need to be stated who is more concerned with their image in games? :rolleyes:

To clarify "helped ensure", hehe - I simply agreed with Ishy that GF wasn't posting/playing, and that kind of inactivity can lose a game.  I agreed with it then, and I agree with it still.  That has no bearing on who is mafia.....those are pet peeves that have been well documented by several players over many many games.  To try and bring them in as a substantial argument in your case is bush league.

 

 

I'm not even talking about GF in the first quote, so I'm not sure what you are getting at. I was talking about Pral's suspicion of you when he came out on D2 and voted you. Also what words am I twisting?

There was no comment I ignored - nice try to make something of it that doesn't exist.  I was ignoring your vote on me.  To jump and defend every little vote, especially early, is not a good idea regardless of alignment.  I know you'd like to make that a scumtell, but it isn't.  However, some would argue that responding to everything aimed at them is a scumtell, so who knows.  But for sure not responding isn't a scumtell.

 

Also, LOL at using early game joking with an IRL friend to fit your scum agenda here.  It's gross, and won't work.  If anything, I was buddying her more than the other way around - it was me following her onto trains.  Once I got serious, you'll see that I gained momentum in both content and posts, as per usual.  Nothing new here - just more scum maneuvering on your part.

 

What's funny is you again using 'evidence' outside of the game to defend yourself, or to try and disprove my point. You did the same with your Wombat experience and now are justifying your behavior towards Leelou with outside criteria. Now whether she buddied you or you buddied her really isn't the point. The point is that you allowed the interaction to happen so that in the future you could potentially cause a town mislynch when you flipped. What do players do when Mafia flips? They look for connections like that. And like the one I found with you and Ishy.

If you are unsure of your internet connection later then I'd be fine with you putting a vote in now.  I will still be waiting to hear from peace, and only do so because they are the only person I feel confortably sure is town, so their opinions would be the best to confirm with.  If peace does not post before the deadline I will have to go with my gut and join you on AJ then pray that the assumption is correct and he's mafia giving us either the win (if he is the only one) or another day (if he has a pertner).

FYI, AJ's defense to this is that I'm scum with Nerv.  Ok, but that goes against the scumdar of every other player in the game, who has pointed at AJ and said he's prob scum within the last game day.

 

So, that defense will fail.

No, the only blatant interaction that I found was your two's counter-wagon on Pral D2 that saved Ishy's ass from the rope. There are a few other things here and there that I picked up on, you agreeing to lynch GF being one of them. There's another quote somewhere that Ishy soft-defends you and Leelou in it.

Of course I'm voting you today.  I was hoping to wait for Peace, but deadline is in a few hours (I think) and I'm unsure of internet with the storm.  We aren't getting a lynch on you without Peace, anyway.  As I said, you'd rather wait for a random that could win you the game.

I'm of course on the same page as Nikon here. I'd rather not rush this day, especially before we got peace's opinion before we go to hammer, but I'm on board with the AJ lynch. It's about 12 in the evening here now. Even though I'm a night-person I probably won't be on for deadline but will cast my vote for a majority vote before deadline.
