No, you lose the game.

It's a good thing to always remind eveyone of it when you lose it yourself.

@Chaelca: I don't remember you and I can't find you on either the Points Page or the Deserter's Tree, yet you apparently are an Asha'man, if I read your posts right. Who are you?

hehe, i 'm a long lost member. Last time i posted was 7 years ago. Only the older members know me from back then ...

But, nice to meet u btw

hey ! Nice to meet you too ...

I didn't manage to follow the winning - losing things either ... i guess the voices in my head were too loud to concentrate and understand XD

I don't understand this winning/losing thing either.

So how you girls doing? What's up with January? Can't you do something about it?

Posted

yea I know about how that works

but I just hate doing that calc, takes effort and I'm lazy

besides I don't get it why you people have to use fancy measurement units instead of using the right ones

Posted

we never stopped using the right ones.

there's nothing to calculate, you just look at a thermometer.

if you want to know the conversion you can use that link or not.

minus 3 C is t shirt weather here.

minus 10 F is when exposed skin freezes solid in under 30 seconds.

enjoy your climate.

LOL

fahrenheit, feet, etc

they don't make sense to me

especially fahrenheit

what's the point of that scale, why not use the natural points (water's freeze/boil or absolute zero)

even Kelvin's better

what's natural about decimalizing everything?

I know the temp just by feel, I don't need to have it be base 10.

feet, inches, pints, pounds, ounces, cups, spoons, etc., are all based on natural human measurements. I can measure any of them without any instruments and without a second thought.

if it's easier for scientists or mathematicians to calculate things by moving a decimal point over, have at it.

no need to convert everything in the world and make a billion things obsolete for that.
