Hello all!

 

I'm in the middle of book 8 and ran into some print problems with my book, in my search for help/answers I stumbled across this wonderful community :D

 

I was a Tolkien and DragonLance junky in the past and a good friend turned me onto The Wheel of Time series, which I am completely loving!

 

I'll be careful not to poke my nose where spoilers lurk ;)

Dragonlance was the business wasn't it? Totally captured my imagination and I really cared about the characters. I can still see them now.

 

Of course Raistlin was the best

 

I'm a big LotR fan too. I first tried to read it when I was 11 and didn't make it passed chapter 1 - but then tried again when I was about 13 and got swept away. I remember being so excited when they made that first animated film of it but ugh! It was awful and Aragorn was completely wrong. The new films were much better and true to the books. What did you think of them?

 

I think there is an 'ask a simple question - get a simple answer' Thread somewhere on the Wheel of Time Boards. Perhaps they can help you with your print problems/missing bits?
