Let me preface this by saying I realize you don't need to buy anything to play mafia IRL. All you need is a group of people who understand how to play, a moderator, and maybe some paper. BUT! There is something to be said about convenience and quality. The people who made Ultimate Werewolf (plays the same as mafia I think) are having a kickstater campaign to make Ultimate Mafia. It sounds like they're going to have a lot of neat roles and I think the cards would make it really convenient to play IRL.

 

Personally as someone who doesn't own Ultimate Werewolf or any of it's expansions I think the last tier reward (for $75) is a really good deal. You get Ultimate Mafia when it's made, Ultimate Werewolf, and all four of Ultimate Werewolf's expansions which you can apparently substitute with other games the company makes. AND even if you just go for the lowest tier (which is basically preordering the game) if they meet their stretch goal of $25,000 they'll make and include the first expansion for Ultimate Mafia for free.

 

I think that's all pretty cool and if I can get my hands on some money I'm probably gonna back the project.

I know Werewolf has some pretty cool roles and I imagine their Mafia will as well.

Actually I think it involves a lot of giggling and talking at once. I've never played it IRL though.
