2013 New Years Resolution

so what New Years Resolution did everyone make this year??

mine

 

1. make a financial plan and sticking to it to get us money saved and out of debt for good

2. finish my Associates Degree in Accounting

3. lose 20-40 lbs

4. finish the cross stitch started for a nephew 2 years ago

5. make a wedding plan and stick to it

6. get the rough outline for all 3 books down on paper and start on 1 books first draft

7. complete 2 lineage projects totally on Dragon Cave and achieve my scroll completion goal

8. do an entire re-read of WoT (picked back up tSR this week to continue from my last re-read attempt)

9. finish up the Reading Recommendation thread

10. find a new job thoguh i dont want to, 5 years at the same place and no riase and still at part time has grown old.

I couldn't even think of one this year so my good friend suggest that I just "be happy", which is a lot more difficult than it seems when you actually try it haha

1. Spend more time with my kids outside!

2. Get back on Weight Watchers and reach my goal weight by June. 30lbs to go!

3. Pay off my credit cards and get rid of most of them.

4. Buy a new car.

5. Find a Master's program to start this fall.

You DO see the problem with those, I hope? Unless you win the lottery ...

 

Mine:

- try to start sporting regularly

- no more eating between meals

- learning German

- learning a computer language

- do some interior changes at my apartment

That is why 3 comes before 4. I must pay off the credit cards in order to afford a car. LOL 

 

 

What is a computer language?

As per wikipedia:

A programming language is an artificial language designed to communicate instructions to a machine, particularly a computer. Programming languages can be used to create programs that control the behavior of a machine and/or to express algorithms precisely.

 

Things like: visual basic, python, c#, html, java.

Would that include CSS?

In the largest definition, probably yes.  Though I'm more looking for a basic language (like the examples I gave).

Well I'm going to TRY and study harder

 

And spend less time on dm and even less outside and finally finish lotr

(And the rest of the books I have pending)
