went to a french restaurant, they took ages between courses, but they were quite busy. good nommings, but I was quite sleepy by the end of it

I had a beef tartare tapas thing that I got basically after we sat down (that's raw beef to the rest of you)

 

had langoustine and salmon with some crackly stuff for a starter, didn't think that that was amazing...

 

my mom's veloute was good actually, with quail which I'd never had before

 

and there was a wild peach marshmallow at the end but that's not too strange
