We were told that since Tina would have known whether Basel was town or not if she was Mafia, that she was town at that point. Therefore, she would have had to have been converted after that point to become an automaton and she cannot be an original mafia. So if we do take the lynch the machinists road, I would agree with going after Piano first. That doesn't mean that Tina should get a free pass, but if we are looking for original mafia, every piece of information helps.

Just because someone says they don't know if someone is town or not doesn't mean they don't. That very easily could have been her trying to look town by defending a townie while slipping in a little feigned uncertainty.

I am not letting this go, Wombat. It doesn't tell the Scum anything. So with our Guild, we can also talk without talking in public. That says absolutely nothing about who is town and who isn't. The fact that you are avoiding it so hard is what has me raising eyebrows.

All seems to be fine in my guild, but we did just get two new people so it is hard to judge the new levels of participation.

Woo, sorry, yeah, weekdays are rough for my activity because I go to sleep and then usually straight to work with no internet access, so roughly 16-17ish hours of not being able to post.

 

I think Ithi needs to take anxiety medication when she plays mafia. She's posting stuff on her QT all during times that I'm either sleeping or at work (this morning when I answered the question about if I killed Player, I had like 5 minutes before I had to leave for work and I wasn't even all ready to go), and freaking out when I don't respond right away.

 

Yes, Ithi, I'm scum because I need sleep and have a job.

 

Last night was the first night in a couple of weeks that I got more than 6 hours of sleep, and before then I'd been averaging about 4.5. I was going insane.

I hate playing catch up. To be perfectly honest, I never intended to just post everything said on the QTs here in the thread. I was going to request that all dead players who want something shared on-thread specifically say it, that way if one of their teammates doesn't bring it up, I can. Otherwise I don't know what's cool to share and what isn't.

 

Um, um, um. Give me a moment to reread all the stuff I missed and let it stew for a sec so I can form some sort of coherent thoughts.

 

I do know that everyone is in a guild except me. I am no longer so sure that there is one scum in each guild, but I know there ARE scum in guilds. Everyone who has claimed a guild has shown up in said guild QT.

 

@Christine, I believe I already mentioned that I believe Hoof was a Chemist due to the fact that DPR notified the guild of their completeness the very same night Hoof died. Not to mention it would make sense numbers-wise.

 

And yeah, I was going to say Wombat is in a guild and is accounted for, not to mention I'm pretty sure Ithi LD'ed him and he is very likely Town, but he seems to have finally claimed for himself.

I am pretty sure that before you were united with your guild, Crusher had been listed as part of said guild? I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure about it.

He was not listed with the Guild. Or, if he was, I missed it. I did not see he was in Glassmakers till I joined the QT. And he called us Crusher and The Hotties.

I'm sure you weren't, not at all. *nodnod* Just randomly felt like trying to get someone to point out that you were gonna LD me and also you've been asking me to say stuff here, and now you're dead and I haven't been saying stuff.... Totally makes sense. I get random feelings of paranoia all the time, myself.

 

Okay, so the messages you obviously wanted me to mention/respond to...

 

-I had the same idea, and others have as well, of looking at all those who were willing to have you LD them. Unfortunately, I don't think that's a foolproof method of scumhunting, as they could all easily be townies and your death served the dual purpose of framing all of us and getting the (I assume there's only one atm) LD out of the game to give a free pass to all liars in the future. But it's something to bear in mind, definitely.

 

-Kae, they're not zombies, they're ghosts. >.> If they were zombies they'd probably be able to amble around on-thread and eat brains or something.

 

-I do think there's room for interpretation of what you LD'ed from Wombat, though. I'm keeping it in mind. Reads have little to do with knowledge of alignment, in my experience. In one game I modded, there were a couple of townies who I would have lynched in a heartbeat if I'd been in the game myself. I was getting such a strong scum read on them even though I knew they were town. So yeah. Not totally foolproof.

 

-Hmm...okay, QT post 169, first paragraph. It's a good point. I think everyone else might be going that way, too. I do need to look back because I don't remember Kae claiming in the QT that she's a doc, although I have had an insane amount of game content to keep track of. Actually, since I do have so much other stuff to keep straight, would you mind going back and just telling me the post number on the QT where she said it? Much easier way of finding it.

You didn't actually explain the choice of Crusher very well, IMO. The blanket reasoning you gave made sense-ish for the other targets, but not Crusher.

 

And I do actually think your target list is kind of convenient. Granted, I'm not sold on you either way yet, but I am finding it all kind of hard to swallow.

Basically, Christine, since I received confirmation that I am the ONLY player who isn't in a guild, I do not take everything said on QTs as gospel truth. The only players out there I trust completely are the dead townies, and I had to check with Wes before I did even that. XD

 

Because if everyone is in a guild, then there are scum in the guilds. Simples. Anyone could be lying in there. Even you.

Anywho, I tried. I chose Crusher last night because I didn't like what Nolder had said. I got lucky. And, I shall keep on like that. I have no choice.
