Anyway, I'm going to read what's been going on so far, I suppose. Sorry for being useless and inactive in my first game; what a great first impression, huh~

I'm up to page twelve right now; I'm juggling between this and writing up a submission letter for a literary magazine (which is due today, haha~), so it's taking me quite longer than I expected it to. Here's what I've got so far--I don't have too many specific opinions on players that I want to elaborate on yet, as I haven't finished reading up on the game, so these are mainly a few little things from my perspective that I'd like to bring up.

 

1. The comment on skimming game posts being a scummy move

I'll admit that this is a bad habit of mine, since I have a rather faulty attention span. I'm trying my hardest not to do it this game, though; I've found this place to, as a general mafia community, pay more attention to odd details than I've quite seen in a long while (at least before CARA mafia died--RIP, CARA mafia). This brings me to...

 

2. I have been seeing posts completely disregarded, and players being quite adamant with whom they vote for.

This is a pet peeve of mine, as it quite heavily vexes me when I've tried the best I've could to defend myself only to be essentially ignored in the end, and lynched/killed. I saw a lot of this with Nolder's (admittedly scummy) doctor claim.

 

3. "Vote-hopping/rapid changing of opinions is scummy."

Erm... well, looks like you'll have to be getting used to my style of play, then! Since playstyle obviously differs between each individual player, not all 'obvious scumtells' are going to be true scumtells with each and every single player. This is, of course, where meta actually becomes semi-useful/important, but not always. People change and improve with time, after all.

What I was addressing before was that I have an additionally terrible habit of refusing to read previous posts I've made, meaning that I have a tendency to completely forget things I have said and move onto other points and opinions that may well be entirely irrelevant to what I was saying before! I will, of course, be attempting to fix this promptly.

Hmph--even if not, isn't usually a rule that results are not to be revealed until the start of day? If a cop, let's say, happens to get a guilty report but dies that same night, revealing that guilty report early just in case would be a foul move. I believe that all mods should submit nights results at around the same time, regardless of when they were submitted, but that's just me.

 

You'd be breaking rules if you were playing anywhere else, anyway. Just my thoughts on that. It seems a little odd.

Im the tracker. Last night I found out that the doc self-protected. If thus us true, doc sat nothing.

Just back tracking a bit (I know hoof posted this ages ago) But I'm thinking that because of this statement, if Hoof isn't lynched by the Mafia tonight (unless the dr. protects him) I would come to the logical conclusion that he would be scum? Because what Mafia in their right mind would leave the tracker alive (unless he was one of them)? I might be overlooking some vital information here but it's just what I'm seeing :/ Any comments on that?

11) this may be uncool but its something needed. IF you play outside of the spirit of the game i will modkill you.. this includes name calling and being unnecessarily mean, trying to get modkills, and targeting a high level player solely on the basis that they're good and need to be killed. make a case!! Everyone one likes to play so play fair!!

 

12) inactivity cant stand it. 2 to 3 game contributing posts per day. Deadlines will not be set they will be decided on activity. IF deadline is missed..then the fun begins!!!

 

....does it suggest or say that revealing findings at night is illegal. you are the mod and you are the boss here, but adding arbitrary rules and punishing me for them is just unfair. if you wanted me to not reveal findings, then wait until you post the end-of-night scene before telling me and the other informative roles.

 

in addition, i have just been merrily informed that when the mod said "no action" he meant i had been blocked!

however, this changes nothing since night 1 i viewed the REAL doc and am almost certain they are the doc since he/she targetted him/herself and the doc is the only power role that actually does that. i merely wanted to see if meesh was some other power role. my first results still stand- meesh is most certainly not the doc.
