Just because you are vanilla doesn't mean you aren't scum. The point of that post was more that I thought you are slightly more expendable to your team and could afford to go all out on me because if I were lynched and flipped town, people would probably start coming at you. It made sense to me that if the mafia were to push a lynch towards someone town, they'd want to have the front runner of said lynch to be roleless. If you were lynched the next day, well, at least the scum take me out and don't lose a role.

Crap, just wrote out a big thing and lost it. Grrr...

 

I hadn't planned on revealing my role here, obviously. Coming down to it though, I gotta defend myself.

 

But here's what my thought process was. I had another purpose in mind. You see, I wanted to see what you would do. I had hoped that you would notice my clue that I knew you were vanilla (I didn't think it was THAT subtle) and realize my role. If you were vanilla town, you'd pick up on that I knew you were vanilla and hopefully it wouldv'e ended our Day 2 feud in some way. We settle our differences with you knowing I have this role and I knowing you know. Nobody else knows I've got the role, but you do. I can keep my role secret. Mafia doesn't know you are vanilla, they just think I've got weird reasoning. But that didn't happen. Instead, it only flamed the fire more. This led me to the conclusion that you a) didn't notice and/or b) you are scummy scum scum. But I figured, you being a pretty smart player, probably wouldn't have missed it. That left me believing b).

 

And in reply to the 1 for 1, I wouldn't think mafia were trying for 1 to 1. But just in case the flames came back, better to have the roleless lead the way.
