Finally!!! Hurrah and all that. First bloody Mafia lynch of the game and me and Kill FULLY vindicated. Oh ye of little faith - although I am still alive at least so that counts for something. Now we just have to wait and see who dies tonight ... Should be interesting.

Also I now feel that there could be a possible WIFOM the size of the MOON to deal with. Tina voted first and voted for Kate. That could have either been because Tina was Mafia and knew that Kate was Town and thought me and Kill would jump on an easy Train. However her vote for Kate showed me that they were likely to not be on the same team, which logically left Krak as the second Mafia member.

 

Now Kate votes for Krak, because logic dictate that she must. He has been shown to be a Mafia team member, as long as she believed that me and Kill were Town, and either she goes along with it because she is Town too and wants the Mafia gone, or she is actually on the Mafia team and needs to not cast suspicion on herself for the final day.

 

Its certainly a pickle. I really don't know where to go with it to be honest. I don't think that I'm the best person to make the decision either - I'm far too close to Kate and this clouds my judgement I think. I may just let Kill make the decision - or we could toss a coin lol. I guess you will just have to wait and see :wink:

Kate - you are sure eager to get me lynched. It´s still night. Or have you already sent in your na? Well I guess it´s goodbye to Ithi or Kill because otherwise Kate and the mafia will loose.

 

Ithi and Kill, please go back and read what I and Kate have said. I think that will show you that I´m town. I have no doubt that the mafia have kept me alive since I´m not a great player and haven´t been a threat. (Although I think I´m much better then when I started playing a few month ago.)

 

Kate said I was making a great WIFOM. Strange because I think she did it by killing her own teammate.

 

I´m in a way relieved that I don´t have to make this decision. As I told you I have been before and I did the wrong one.

Shadowthrone's cane cracked against the worn cobbles in the realm of shadow. For a second he was Ammanas, the old emperor of the Malazan empire, his old life from what seemed a mellinium ago. He heard a noise, quickly, but not anxiously, he drew the shadows around him. Where a man once stood, now hung a cloud of impenetrable blackness. A cackle arose from the seething mass. Somewhere soft in the distance, several canine figures stalked the pathway as someone marched up. The sun was to the back of the stranger so he couldnt be identified. The stranger approached the throne of shadow, an that's when Ammanas made his move. "Hah, usurper, I knew I'd find you here." the stranger said, with a hint of maddness in his voice. That caught Shadowthrone by surprise, then the realization hit him. "You, you didn't come for the throne of high house shadow did you?" all the stranger did was pull out a sword. The blade seemed to radiate his intentions. Shadowthrone daughter back, and called out the aptorian demon, but the stranger was faster. He slid the blade under Shadowthrones ribs, and the tip grazed his heart. The stranger left Ammanas there in the realm of shadow

Well at least this time I didn't kill Ith (I've played two times with Ith before, and both times I've killed her.. the first time I had to try twice (I was a SK), and second time I accidentally killed her) :D

 

I'm too lazy to check, so could you two please tell me what did you claim your characters were? :)

Kill - here are my reasons for you to vote Kate and not me.

 

Christine, if you had the ability to kill last night, why didn't you do it? You could have ended the whole Ithi/Kill debate right quick AND it would have been in your favor regardless of how they flipped.

 

We don't need anyone around that is confirmed non-town.

I STILL think Ithi and/or Kill are mafia (although, I am not sure about the or... I've never seen that, but don't doubt it could happen.) Just because Christine has claimed a killing role AND that she is not Town am I voting for her and not Ithi or Kill.

 

Here Kate do her big slip that made me believe she was/is mafia. By this post Christine hadn´t told us if she had killed anyone. (Later she told us she hadn´t.) How could Kate know? The only way to know that is if she is on the mafia team and know that it was mafia that send in the nk.

 

 

 

 

I haven't really seen anything scummy in Krak. Even when he said something against you, I didn't think it was that suspicious (of course, I also have the feeling that you are mafia, so there is that...)

 

If there is one doubt in my mind about you, it comes from the fact that Krak, Tina, Ed, and Ama have been fairly quiet while we duke it out. That seems like something mafia would do if two townies were going at each other because, in that case, the Town is simply doing their job for them. They throw something in every now and again, but not anything really substantial. (I do understand that they all have posted and I don't mean to imply inactivity, but that it seems for every five posts Ithi or I do, there is one post from each of the rest.)

 

Her comment about Krak speaks for itself. Take a look at this post. She have been fighting with Ithi almost all game but now she thinks that maybe both of them is town. Have she noticed that it is getting hard to lynch Ithi and wants to change tactic?

 

 

I suggest to everyone to go back and reread the last 6 or 8 pages or so. I just did and tried to put half-blinders up to the stuff going on between Ithi and myself (mostly because I paid a TON of attention to it at the time and I think we are hopelessly deadlocked at the time, which is really bad if she is Town, too.) I noticed some interesting things...

 

For one, when Ithi and I (and halfway Kill) were duking it out, you all pretty much kept quiet. Ama through out some "I think so-and-so is scum" posts without any real backing and Tina gave reasons why we both pinged on the radar. Ed was Ed and didn't really contribute anything useful and I think Krak only redirected heat back at the Ithi/Kate discussion. Everyone was mostly quiet about their personal opinions throughout that whole thing.

 

And, when we took the break and lynched Christine, everyone was all active and happy again. That ends, Ithi and I go back for Round 2, and it gets quiet again with the only input being that we are both looking scummy or woe-is-me if we lose a Townie and lose the game.

 

I still think Ithi and Kill could very likely be mafia, but the fact that we three duked it out and were basically allowed to without interruption gives credit to the idea that we are Townies fighting Townies.

Kate - I have tried to be active in this game. You and Ithi have been even more active, yes, but it´s not like I´m lurking around. I go to sleep much earlier than you do because my timezone is ahead of yours and I´m not like Ithi, who doesn´t need to sleep at all. :biggrin:

 

As I have said, for me it´s either Ithi or Kate at this moment. If Ithi flips scum then we lynch Kill tomorrow. If Kate is mafia then I´m not sure. I think Ed is town (think, I´m not sure) so it´s either Ama or Krak. Both have been fairly quiet this game. In my last game they were much like this and both were mafia.

 

I don´t like Kate´s slip so I will vote Kate. If all of you agree to vote Ithi then I will change my vote but I think it´s more likely that Kate is mafia.

What does that mean? We could try again? That seems a bit odd. I've never been in a game where you could do that before. If we could I would probably move my vote onto Krak or Tina - but all the other times Jack has pounced on a lynch like a Tiger.

 

I am going to believe Kate is Town, although I may regret that. You apparently shot the Mafia Godfather, although it continues to puzzle me that the Mafia Team have left you alive as if your claim is correct you are a confirmed Townie.

 

It seems a bit like cheating. We make a mistake so get to have a re-do?

 

Now Ithi has been convinced that it is what Kate say it is - they are both town.

 

 

Based on all most recently previous phases, I am going to restate my initial claim that I think Ithi and Kill are mafia.

 

I have re-read through three times now and it all just jumps out at me. The way Ithi fought against Lily, both of them refusing double-day phase which would only have helped the Town, and so on.

 

I have a computer lab and then soccer practice tonight and will be leaving for Ft. Jackson tomorrow morning and won't be back until Thursday night. I will do my best to hop on DM as much as possible to keep up, but my activity will be limited.

 

Until then, Unvote. Vote Ithi.

 

Jet Kate votes Ithi again (in the night so it didn´t count). The person she thought was town. Hm...

 

 

Also - how come you are so sure you will still be around tomorrow. If you are really Town, the Mafia team could have killed you already - unless you are on the Mafia Team and know that you won't be dead.

So it´s either Ithi-Kill or Kate-Krak. As I have said it has been Ithi or Kate for me. I will hide under a stone if I don´t get this right but I have to trust my gut feeling. I think Ithi is telling the truth. As she said, we were on a cult team together in Alanna´s Aiel-Seanchan mafia and I think I know her style. Kate has done so many things that makes me believe she is scum. Vote Kate.

 

I chose to believe Ithi. I also say that makes Kate and Krak mafia.

 

 

Krak has been skimming like a stone on a lake. He even tried to get me to unvote yesterday saying it wasn't a hammer game when it was.

You and Krak, whom I am almost certain now are mafia, allowed Ithi and I to argue back and forth for too long. Eventually, it became really noticeable that when Ithi and I fought, you all were quiet...when Ithi and I were quiet, you all were active.

 

I am Town and I believe that Ithi is Town with Kill. Whichever of us are left when night phase ends will win if they vote Tina, the only option for remaining mafia.

 

 

I was telling the truth that I would have hammered him. I told you it had to be Kate-Krak or Ithi-Kill so since Krak had more votes it would be ok with me to vote him instead of you. I didn´t get the time though since I took my daughter to school. When I got home Kill had already done it. I´m telling you the truth about this. I do lie in mafia if I think I need to, I´m not like Ithi, but I don´t lie about rl stuff.

 

I will wait and see the coroners report before I deal with your accusations. If I´m wrong and Ithi and Kill are the mafia it´s no point in doing it now.

Contrary to what Tina believes, I am not going to accumulate massive amounts of quotes over the last hundreds of posts. This is in part because I have been up since 0330 Thursday morning (it is now 0730 Friday morning) and will not be able to sit down until I am in Cleveland approximately 2359 tonight. Also, I feel like sometimes quotes like that can be taken out of context of the string they fell in with and that can make them misleading.

 

I will suggest that you look back over the last couple of phases. I do apologize for pushing so hard for yours and Ithi's lynch, but the lack of wanting a double day along with some of the tactics used by Ithi led me to think that she was mafia and that, by aligning yourself with her, you were mafia, too. I was wrong and stand corrected. However, I AM town. I am Smiles, a vanilla townie.

 

Also, I think it would benefit you to watch how Tina and Krak played during the last few phases. They stayed in the middle or quiet when we were arguing and they hopped in when we took breaks. Look back and you'll see how obvious it was that they were not going to interfere with Townies hunting Townies.

 

In response to Tina's excerpts and all...I'm pretty sure I have responded to each and every one of those throughout the game.

 

Kill, the choice really is in your hands. I am Town. If we lynch Tina together, Town will win.

And again - you and Ithi were posting much so it´s not strange that I couldn´t keep up with you. No one could. I have been active through all the game. You and Ithi went back and forth and that was your choice.

Tina, your post was actually very good and convincing, but on the other hand, it still still had some flaws. Nearly all points can be reduced to WIFOMs, or the same questions could be asked from you (for example, why are you still alive) with the same answers.

Kate, I've had the feeling that you must be mafia for long, but for one reason, it was because you were so certain that Christine would flip town. For last few phases though, I've been thinking that you could be town, because you have been so loud and visible, that it would be just too darn big risk if you were mafia, and because you've admitted that we actually could be town, instead of blindly trying to get us lynched (though I admit that we must have looked like mafia for our actions).

 

So in my opinion it comes down to this:

- Tina has been less visible (I'm not saying inactive) than Kate. Kate has been very loud. I've heard that if one puts players in order according to post counts, the mafia can be found from the middle (usually). Though this late in the game this means pretty much nothing.

 

Oh honestly, who am I BSing? I have really no good idea who to vote :D I hate LyLo-situations, though I've only once been in one, and I was on the receiving end.

 

I'm going by my gut feeling, and for some reason, Kate has managed to soothe my gut (as she has Ith's also) better, so

vote Tina
