OKOKOK I finished reading through all that. Here are my thoughts before another 5 pages spring up:

 

1) Sakaea--Stark

3) Vic--No read yet. I need to do a study of all his posts together real quick before I decide for sure.

4) Verbal--Stark/possible cult convert

5) Wombat--Lannister

6) Optimus Primate -- Survivor...its possible he could have been converted, but he has remained fairly consistent in the people he's been targeting from the beginning.

7) CTM--Cult

9) JF80--Lannister

10) Slats--Still casing.

11) Nae/Krak--Smelled of cult via inactivity, however seeing as she is repped, I imagine she was just busy so I have to get a read on krak, if he ever shows up.

12) Smash--I believed in Smash at first, but now that he is throwing out spiteful votes because John is pissing him off, makes me less trusting in what he says. Seems immature, and that's just not how I roll these days.

19) Myndrunner--I honestly don't know. My instinct does not say Cult. He strikes me as the bloke that gets more obnoxious when he's evil, not less. But I've only ever played once with him, and he was lynched early for being annoying. I will say that I think we have better lynching candidates.

22) Barmacral--Way too quiet this game. I smell Cult.

23) DPR--Stark

24) the dude--Stark/Cult. Dude has yet to throw out his Cromwell Approval, which surprises me. He doesn't play with logic, he's the "gut instinct" guy.

I see a lot of people were back on the Mynd case from a couple days back, but I don't love the fact that the vast majority of the people who jumped on that train really gave little to no reasoning whatsoever on it. When you consider that based on the info we do have, it seems he's unlikely to be the CL (assuming we trust Smash's track results). As far as Smash goes, I can't imagine that he's the CL. If his role reveal was BS, you would imagine the Starks would've known it and speed lynched his ass as opposed to buying votes to save him and get Red lynched. Could he be a conversion target? Sure, but I don't think it's a given. We know what he is, and there's nothing particularly great about his role that the CL would be pining to convert him. The whole case against him at the point is really more PM bullshit, which I absolutely hate to begin with and think has absolutely no place in mafia games whatsoever, and we've already seen what happened last time the Ape built a case based on that.

 

While I know it's going to be tough to hit the CL right away just based on pure numbers, I'm not sure it makes a ton of sense to go after people who we have a lot of reason to believe aren't it. I've definitely gotten to the point that I'd like to hear more out of slats though. While I was questioning his train yesterday because I didn't see much of a case made, after looking at it further there's no doubt he's playing outside of his normal routine. Not a lot of case building going on, and he's definitely been dodging the heat coming his way. He always makes the excuse for his day 1 play being different, but more days have come and gone and I haven't seen that change. Something certainly seems fishy there.

I should not have even paid attention to his trash he always gets me worked up. Since hes some kind of lucky ass retard hero here after one game I figured I could not let his stupid ape commments go uncountered. Funny how he contradict's himself constantly yet accuses others of it.

 

I like what BG had to say and I was also looking at slats for potential CL with Mynd as a conversion candidate. Slats has been quiet the last few days wonder what thats all about.

 

I have no problem voting Slats if he picks up steam or Mynd for that matter.

Is he seriously the best you got for cult right now? I mean, the object is to figure out the cult...not get rid of someone because they are annoying the piss out of you. It seems to me that you continue to get angry at him for the things that he says (which admittedly can be annoying at times), but don't you have any better guesses?

And you did shoot at Crusher, when our main objective at this point is to root out Cult--and you claim you knew 100% that he was Lannister--not cult. If you were a Survivor, you really shouldn't care either way which Houses are left, and so why take the shot at alL? Once the cult is gone, the House with the most members are going to kill off the other House quickly enough. Are you Stark then? Or are you just a Survivor that has forgotten the main objective? You say that he is a good conversion target...and a detriment to Stark victory. I agree with him being a good conversion target, but ultimately our goal is to root out the Leader if possible, and lynching John would not point out who that is easily, since he has been so damn visible this game. He's literally touched on every character. And he's even listed you as probable Survivor...so I'm confused as to your problem with him anyway (aside from his commentary)???

To be perfectly honest, not especially. I don't as a rule craft my cases with any great amount of care, never have. A vote either feels right or it doesn't. This one does. I'm finding myself bouncing a lot this game. Slats has given me a vibe a few times, and I bounce back and forth on him. John I'd lynch just to get some peace and quiet :P but it's not really of benefit to do so in terms of real objectives. Other than that there's just too much static in the air still to get any good gut feelings so far. Rusty I guess.

So the beach was awesome and sucked lol. First time with the kiddo and he loved it, but it was windy and cold.

 

Anyways I'm beat. I've caught up on the action and really am not inspired by the train on mynd. Seems like a ton of votes without any real reasoning. I dont typically agree with the ape but competing trains are a benefit at this stage. The Lannisters are thin and wi be rooted out easily enough. The cult is the biggest threat now and we have yet to hit on one so who know what their #'s are at. For now I will vote

I typically see slats as a more attacking/aggressive type of player. This game henseems to have shied away from those encounters.

His problem with me is two-fold... related to this game: I started sniffing around some people like the dude and Mynd in night phase, and he decided its more important to shoot at me rather than someone like Mynd, one of the people I sniffed around and the guy he is voting right now. Makes perfect sense no?

 

Not related to this game: He's has a hard-on for me for about 8 straight games, where his priority becomes getting me killed rather than playing towards a win condition. He prides himself on playing logically and being detail oriented. (Note: his lack of logic and attention to detail this game is glaring.) I'm the opposite, I'm a wildcard... and it drives him nuts.

 

The last time he was scum, he had everyone in the game fooled except me - and I let other people talk me out of my conviction about his alignment. He ended up winning as scum.
