Hybrid, it is unlike you to knee-jerk vote like this, ignoring everything else that is going on in the game. Also, you know me very well that a lying liar who lies is not always scum. You also know that my participation in this game has been less than it should be, but enough to be more active than some. I can't resist a good mafia game, especially a Kivam mafia on DM.

 

Facts: I voted slats and kept my vote on slats the entire time. If I were cult, it would be the dumbest move in history to sacrifice our recruiter for my own preservation.

 

 

I confirmed on D1 that ALL survivors have the same role setup, meaning they all had to declare which family to roll with before the start of Day 4. You cannot declare a family at this point in the game. You are lying.

 

To me the sacrifice of Slats means one thing, there's another converter... for Slats to go down as the most important player on the cult team without even a small ruckus, there's got to be a backup... I'm thinking bus move all the way.

 

This. I was fine with Mynd until his post of pledging Stark tonight.

5 votes (plus an extra from Verbal) were placed on Slats in very, very quick succession - nobody tried to derail it, with him being the CL I'm shocked, so I'm guessing they either got pissed at him - or there's a backup, so it was safe for them to bus by voting him.

2 - Can you still lynch me after we consider other options?

3 - Does it make sense that I would vote Slats, who flipped cult leader, if I were a recruited cult?

4 - Does it make sense for the cult leader to recruit me, an obvious vote magnet, who has been near lynch multiple times?

5 - Does it make sense that I would have not been able to keep up with the game if I was able to communicate with other players?

 

Please take a moment to consider your answers to these questions. If you still feel compelled to lynch me, so be it, but please provide all reasons to back it up. Don't be lazy and say "OH, i said it posts ago" because thats bullshanks. If you have been keeping up with this game (unlike me) then you should be able to clearly state your reasons here. Kivam revealed that he was made aware at the lynch scene, but it is clear that the issues were there BEFORE then. Only the fellow cult members would know for sure.

Mynd was leading vote getter, looked like he was done for. Why would Mynd vote Slats? So that when Mynd flips cult, Slats looks like one of the least suspect players for cult.

Hmmm... almost all my favorite suspects, all voting in order... gotta be at least one bus vote in there no? So now that we know that Slats was the CL, I'm going to metagame a bit... would he play the role exactly like he did last game while I was modding and watching him play the role to perfection? He went right after the JN heavy hitters:

Take away Dan and EY, look at our player roster and the names that pop to me are DPR, CTM, Bleedin, Verbal, Lily and Wombat, maybe Nae... in addition to Sharrow, Vic and Smash.

 

Thing is, a quick re-read and you can see Slats nudging my pursuit of CTM, so I feel a bit better about him. You can see Slats nudging my catch on DPR's slip, so I feel better about DPR too. I also don't think Vic and BG makes their cases/votes on Slats if they were converted - there was no need at the time they posted them.

 

Sharrow concerns me most right now.

 

Part of me wonders if Slats (who <3 Lily, and made the case on Lily early that really wasn't going to stick) converted Lily early and she bowed out because she HATES being converted. Sakea keeps saying Slats is Stark in her lists of player reads, though there has been nothing to substantiate it.

 

Also, you can pretty much throw away the theories about Slats converting me. Would never happen - I drive him more nuts than I do CTM. Should have known something was up when Slats opted not to berate me in front of all of you, and instead played "get behind the Ape".

1. DPR will NOT answer my question about who the Starks team shot at last night

2. Smash will NOT provide his "list" with his reads, as I did for him

Well then, its clear that everyone has made up their mind. I could post the most logical and sound arguement in the history of mafia games and it would be colored by your own prejudice. You are all convinced I am cult. My lynch will prove you wrong.

 

The benefit is that my lynch does not hurt the Starks or help the cult in any way. It does lose one vote and delay the catching of the cult, but at this point, it seems inevitable.

 

Still, I beg you all to not be so rabid in your lynches. I am sorry that I did not keep up with this game like I should have, but that still should not be enough to lynch me. Look again at your reasons for lynching me and who started them. That should point you in the right direction going forward. Also, take your time to consider every option. The reasons for my lynch are "well this one time it happened so it must be true" doesn't make any sense at all.

Again, I didn't realize it was Day 5 already. Seriously, I freely admit that I haven't been following the game as close as I should. Hell, I usually skim all games Im in until the numbers dwindle down a bit. You gotta admit, and no slam on Kivam at all, that for someone speshul like me its a bit hard to follow when the topic title reads DAY 3 and there isnt an updated OP that tells who is lynched and what day/night it is.

I am a survivor and I thought I had plenty of time to pledge. I remain bulletproof until then, so I was hoping to maybe catch an NK before declaring. I missed the deadline, but even someone half-ass following the game can tell that the Starks have the majority right now with all the lannisters dead. Now, with the cult leader gone, only a cult follower would go against house Stark.

I thought I could do it, but I actually have a lot on my plate right now. I still thought I could keep up enough. Bolding mine. Being inactive and skimming isn't reason to lynch you? I disagree. Lynching inactives has been happening quite a lot in games I'm in recently, and I really don't see anything wrong with it. Being inactive drags the game down. I'm not as active as some in this game, but I'm actively reading everything, and posting when I can, and when I have something to say. But I didn't vote you for your inactivity or your skimming. I voted you because I thought and still think you're a culty bastard.
