In The Gathering Storm when Rand sits down in the dream world with Moridin. As Moridin and Rand are talking, Moridin says, "I could throttle Semirhage for what she did." As in referencing the bond that they shared. We've all thought that the crossing balefire streams was to blame for Rand's sickness and the bond he and Moridin share. Could Semirhage have formed a bond between them in Shadar Logoth?

I believe he was referring to Semhirhage blasting off Rand's hand with the fireball which in turn effects Moridin as well.

Moridins had also hurts. And Rand can still feel his hand, so I think this is just about the bond.

Randsc, could you elaborate for one not-very-smart-non-native-speaker? Should he have said: "...for what she has done" because he shouldn't konw Semirhage was dead? If he knew, that would lend credence to the set-up theory? Or am I totally lost?

I think he should know Semirhage is dead. And yet, he speaks of her as if she were alive. Making me think that there is a possibility that she is alive, in spite of what her have been told about balefire.

 

Or, it's just more awkward editing. Which is what I really think it is. I wonder how many of the elaborate theories constructed and defended on this site will ultimately turn out to be the result of editing errors? I know that people constructed some interesting ones based on Sulin's apparent ability to be two places at one time.

This conversation was in TGS 15. Semirhage was killed in TGS 22. So Semirhage WAS NOT killed at the time of this conversation.
