HALO 4

Soo this year at E3 it has broke that there will be a Halo 4 as well as a HD remake of Halo Combat Evolved. AS more info is given I will try to update here.

So. Mixed feelings. Boo Microsoft for milking the cash cow, but yay more Halo. I have low expectations however. Reach to me was near perfection.

Personally [even as a die hard Halo fanatic] i think theyre milking it. But then again, i had low hopes for Reach, but I loved it. The remake of CE will probably be good. I still think thats the greatest Halo game.

I can't wait for remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. I think that was probably my favorite storyline and hopefully they will have a cool MP element. I'm thinking Flood Firefight or epic maps. I'm so giddy thinking about it!

2. excited but cautious about Halo 4, hopefully 343 studios knows what its doing

 

I had very high hopes for Reach and it was a huge let down

the only redeeming qualities Reach had was a better Forge and the Invasion gametype IMO

everything else was pretty bad

I prefer Halo 3 to Halo: Reach.

After the local LAN parties died, I pretty much stopped playing Halo. It's not any fun if there are no people in the room to shout at. (We transitioned to Left 4 Dead, and now there's plenty of shouting, usually along the lines of "Where the hell did Q go?" "He's in the safe room already." *tank music* "... of course he's in the safe room...")

They actually announced a new Halo trilogy, so get ready for 4, 5, and 6. But...if it's anything like Halo 3 or Reach, I'll be wildly disappointed...

 

Combat Evolved remastered I have high hopes for though, and I hope they will have some online MP play for it =)
